The Main Dining Room features a stunning view of the bay from every table. For those who prefer al fresco dining our Inside Out Room is the perfect place for a romantic dinner or get together among friends next to the cozy fireplace. A custom-built wood fired grill and a large wood burning oven serve as the focal points of Kuleto's design for the restaurant. Our waiter Paul was absolutely great! The NY steak was undercooked and very tough. The same can be said about the calamari, although it must be said that the flavor was excellent on all of our dishes.

The service was outstanding and the food was interesting. We ordered our steaks med rare. They came out almost raw. It was hard to tell because the lighting was dark. The sorbet for desert was citrus and very citrus like biting into a lemon. And personally I don’t like when a place charges for bread.

Upscale urban ambiance with a beautiful view of the Bay Bridge from almost any seat. The service was very capable and knowledgeable. The food was absolutely delicious. We both got the All In deal which included a wedge salad, 6 oz. filet mignon, side and dessert. Unlike many combos, you can choose any side and dessert instead of being restricted to one or two. I like wedge salads and was expecting a typical one but was pleasantly surprised. With prosciutto instead of bacon and a variety of seeds and grape tomatoes added, it was the perfect combo of taste and texture. I will compare all future wedge salads to this one and they will likely fall short. The filet was tender with a lovely flavor. We also tried the various salts on the table. Of the sides, we liked the airport gratin potatoes with gruyere best. The autumn squash was nice but could have been better with more spice. Both the lime cheesecake with rhubarb ice cream and the chocolate tart were sublime. There was a small error with our bill which was quickly taken care of. Servings were very generous and given the cost of the deal, it was a nice value. A lovely Valentine’s Day experience.

I’m quite disappointed at my husband’s steak. He asked for Medium but it was served rare. We’re surprised to hear that they charged for bread which is usually complimentary even at the most expensive steakhouse.

It was my fiancé's birthday and they made it very special with a card signed by various people, our table was in the main dining room, at the end they provided a complimentary birthday dessert and our waiter was very nice and attentive. This is our second time dining there and we will continue to return. Thank you for making our evening special.

We came to San Francisco - as we have done “off and on” for 44 years... this time we came to celebrate our 44th Wedding Anniversary and I chose EPIC Steak because we already ate at the Wetbar next door in 2017. The service was fantastic, the staff surprised us with a card congratulating us on our Anniversary and our desserts were served with “Happy 44th Anniversary” in Chocolate on the plate!! The Filet Mignon was delicious and so tender to cut and the flavor was spot on!! The Oysters on the Half Shell was a bit of a surprise— they were small but flavorful— the view of the Bay Bridge at night is spectacular. Thank you for a wonderfully romantic dinner!!

I attended a business dinner with a colleague on Friday night. I ordered a half dozen oysters as an appetizer and what came out was extremely disappointing and frankly unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber. The oysters were beyond tiny and there was literally *nothing* in three of the six. There was literally *nothing* to scoop out with the oyster fork. It's unbelievable to me that the kitchen and the server would send this out. Ordinarily, I would have complained, sent the dish back and asked to speak to a manager ... but I was at a business dinner and didn't want to make a big deal of it. My colleague looked at the "oysters" with my prompting him and said, "Wow, we really got ripped off ..." I chose to make light of it and change the subject because we were there to discuss business and wanted to keep the evening positive. Again, it astounds me that the kitchen and server would even send this out. Unbelievable.

The decor of the restaurant is showing obvious signs of wear; chipped paint, dented chairs. etc etc. while the staff does their level best the food - even for a steakhouse- was only fair. Caesar salad was good but barely enough to be satisfied, the Brussel sprouts were quite good as the one exception to the meal. The spinach side was truly un edible, as the lemon juice was in excess and the baby spinach swimming in liquid. The same is true with the mushroom side; no one bothered to dry the mushrooms/squeeze out enough liquid so they wound up being sopping wet and lose the mushroom flavor. One more step in the prep would have fixed that. As for the aged rib eye, it was very good, w/ solid aged flavors and in no way was equal to the pronounced portion size. So when it arrives at your plate essentially naked w/ no adornments in any manner it just looked dull.

The view of Bay Bridge was beautiful! We sat out on the heated patio and it was very cozy and warm. I got the create your own salad and it was fantastic my boyfriend got the lobster bisque and steak and he said they were just ok. It was very price for the food we got but the ambience was great. I’d give it a 3 out of 5 !

What a fantastic lunch for SF Restaurant Week. This was clearly one of the best offers as the food was more delicious than I had expected. The service was great as well. I was surprised that it was not crowded as it was a beautiful day, but we benefitted from the superb wait staff. Thanks again and hopefully, we will be back soon.

My boyfriend and I had gone here to try out the steak because of the SF restaurant week. The steak was perfectly cook as we ordered, but the mushroom bisque was a bit salty for me. The dessert included 3 small pieces of cake. Pretty tasty!
The view of the water was nice from the outdoor seating area. I don’t think it was worth the price if you have to pay full price for the steak, wasn’t anything special about it. Expect to pay $5 for the 4 slices of bread and butter. The soda refills are not free here either. Our bill came out to be about $100 for 2 ppl for lunch without alcoholic beverages.

What a beautiful dining room! Bright and smells great. The SF restaurant week lunch $25.25 lunch special with mushroom bisque and steak frites was absolutely delicious. The incredible value gave us the opportunity to try this place without breaking the bank. Definitely pricier on the normal menu. The waitress was funny, attentive and superb as well as the rest of the wait staff.

Way over priced for what you get. Service was adequate but no personality. Best part was the ambiance and view of bridge. If you’re going to spend that kind of money go to Mortons which is a sure thing and better steak and experience overall.
