My first visit and I truly liked the atmosphere. I was a little disappointed with the dinner special that was offered. Sounded great, but the dish was less than good. The ribeye special was paper thin, and really lacked the flavor you would get from a thicker cut. I figured since Epic was associated with Tiburon, the dish would be at least similar...nope. Oh well, lesson learned.

Otherwise, service was good. Price $$.

I always reserve with Open Table just in case, and have loved this place for years. Excellent ribeye, my absolute favorite! The service is always great, servers are very attentive and courteous.

I truly enjoyed the diverse menu and the added flair for each plate. The service was excellent and those serving were very attentive. The portions were perfect for the cuisine. I will definitely return! Many in our party had eaten then prior and praised it throughout our meal. Ciao

Very good dinner using a generous coupon. Allowed us to take the kids and grandparents to dinner and not break the bank.

Epic & the associated restaurantz, Tiburon, hoof & vine & the wild rose are consistent neighborhood restaurants! Well worth being on their mailing lists for pop up specials!

The food was ok. Definately not great, desserts were ok too. Not great. We are foodies and picky about presentation and taste. This is not a good restaurant for either. It was reccommended by a friend. Probably wont go back. Would rather spend my time and money finding a better restaurant. Not a bad experience, just not great.

As a group of long time friends, we get together regularly for dinner. Epic provided us with great food and service but most especially a quiet place we could easily catch up with each other!

I only wish people who work as servers would be attentive to customers during pre-closing hours as they do earlier in the evening. Side work for closing seems to always be a distraction.
The food was tasty, original and even fun. I'd go here again.

The Epic is the place my husband and I go to when we just want to get away from the stresses of life and have a wonderful affordable meal where the food is always good. The wine list by the glass has a good selection to choose from. We dine here often and have not been disappointed in anything we have tried. The staff have always been very helpful and prompt and we have never had to wait for anything. We will continue to dine here.

I have enjoyed Epic for many years. The flat breads and grilled artichoke appetizers are wonderful. I have only had fantastic servers who have been helpful, cheerful and provided excellent service. Unfortunately the entrees have been very mediocre at best.

I love the Epic, I love the Crew, I love the food. It's always consistent. When I bring friends
from out of town there, they always comment ' good choice ' in restaurants. We frequent the
restaurant quite often. Prices are good, love the Flat Breads. The beef tenderloin is wonderful with a port reduction sauce it's killer. Great specials.

We were in town for the Cottonwood Marathon. Saw this restaurant on around me, clicked on the yelp review and decided to give it a try. Loved everything about this place. Carmen was an excellent server! She gave great info about menu items we were interested in and brought out a taste of the peanut sauce for us to try. We had 3 different dishes, seared salmon, beef tenderloin and Thai pasta. Everyone loved their choice. Also, had a great Caesar salad.
I will definitely eat here again, if travels bring me back to SLC.

We have been going to Epic for years. Service is always good and enjoy the ambiance. Food is usually very good, however, this time the Ahi Tuna (one of my favorites) was bland and disappointing. I hope it was only a "one off" (:

Horrible. I was interested in the unique menu ideas and brang a guest. The appetizer was nice but the entree was a disaster. I had huge piece of egg shell in my food. They weren't busy to make a disgusting mistake! It was want a big deal to them and they offered me something else. Hell no!! I didn't pay for my dish and they compd nothing.

The chicken flatbread was the best part of the meal. My daughter and son-in-law were very disappointed with their meals--both pasta dishes. They were very bland. This was their first time at this restaurant and sadly most likely their last.

I had a reservation for 7pm. Arrived a few minutes early. I was told that they had a table ready for me, that they just had to split 2 tables apart and then we would be seated. Next thing I know I turn around and they seated another group at both of the tables they were supposed to seat me and my guests at. The host then tried talking us into a table right next to the kitchen. I said this was a special occasion and needed a place that wasn't so noisy to talk. I pointed out that there was a table right in the middle of the room and asked why we couldn't have that one. He said, "oh, if you want that table you can have that one?" Really? Why didn't you suggest that in the first place? So he sat us at that table and said someone would be right along with water and to take our order. 10 minutes later, no water and we had to grab that same host that sat us and he finally brought us some water. Another 5-10 minutes later our waitress finally showed up. She seemed very distraught and not very friendly. She gave us our menus and asked us if we wanted anything else to drink. She didn't give us a wine menu, so I had to ask what they had. She responded, "do you want a beer/wine menu"? Well, yes. Yes I did. Why didn't it come with the menu in the first place? 5 minutes later the menu shows up, but by this time we just wanted food. We ordered our entree and appetizers (olive and humus flat bread and grilled artichoke) that came out in a decent amount of time. We finished our appetizers and waited and waited for our entrees. We noticed that people that had come in after us were already half way through their meal, so we asked our waitress where our food was. She gave us some lame excuse that it was being served in the time the tickets were submitted, but we were there before these others, so I don't know why it was so late. Long story short, we didn't leave the restaurant till 9:15 and the waitress was not very apologetic. Yes, she said she was sorry, but she had an attitude.

Celebrating our anniversary this was our first visit to Epic. The salads make the meal along with the hummus flatbread - so tasty! You could make a meal with these two entrees. Very unique so I took my time and savored every bite. Also ordered was 2 pork plates one being served with gravy and the other Chinese style, with the gravy dish being far superior and moist.
Our waiter was excellent and we will return.
