Epic Casual Dining
We went with 8 people and everyone said the same thing that the food was very bland. We have been there before and it seems like things have changed. Food was not great. And service was ok.
This is hands down one of my favorite places! I love being on the mailing list and thanks to their email deal night I got to splurge on the beef tenderloin I had been wanting to try (I usually get the marsala) I am a picky picky eater and it was 5 stars all the way! I will be back and pay full price for that 100%
Food was good, as usual. Service was good. My issue is that after all the hype about the remodel and rebranding, they were out of my first choice for wine, the smoked salmon appetizer and the espresso machine was broken, so we couldn’t get the dessert we wanted. This was at 6:30 on a Saturday night. Think the staff had a loooong night .
Can’t say it ruined our evening - just a little frustrating and disappointing. Obviously, hoped for better.
Best Regards

The food was wonderful. Had the beef tenderloin.. my favorite...perfection. They have updated the inside .. lighter paint..different art...also some new menu items. However it was extremely bright for dinner... needed to lower the lights to improve the ambiance. The table layout was a bit crowded and unfortunately most of the tables had a bad case of the wobbles. We noticed many a patron trying to maneuver it to where it wouldn't wiggle. Request a booth if you can.
Food was excellent!
Service was fair, the wait staff is relatively young and needs more training.
They need to work on the decor and I think with the right materials in place it would help with making the ambiance warmer and help with the noise level.
Went here for a business dinner and everyone got something different. They have a unique menu and everyone was very pleased with the food. It was excellent! We started with flat breads all of them very delicious. Then I got the Ahi Tuna and it was so good! and ended with the chocolate cake which was excellent as well. My group recommends this place for the food.
The food is alright, I remembered differently but it appeared that it has changed. The food value is on the high side for what we ordered, a bit disappointing.
Food and Service was great along with the music.
Lights could have been a little dimmer, they were really bright.
So very happy that the Epic restaurant can finally offer some cocktails. I had the Ultimate Margarita and it was excellent. The appetizers and salad are always very good. The entrees - okay. Stay away from the meat entrees - over marinaded and not much flavor. I would highly recommend for meeting and greeting friends. Splurge on the appetizers and drinks and enjoy a tasty dessert.
I’ve come to Epic often for many years and this was the first time I’ve been disappointed. The menu has changed and not for the better. No more shrimp risotto or Thai pasta. My girlfriend had the bison burger and it was bland and under seasoned. I had the smoked salmon flatbread and it was super dry and just thrown all together on a plate. Our server asked if we wanted a dessert menu before we even took the first bite of our meal which was just plain weird. She was slow to clear the table and seemed inexperienced in general. Unless this place changes, I’ll never be back.
Have been going to Epic for many years. The changes to Epicure fine food and drink are just enough to notice from a full bar, nice changes inside, and favorites still on the menu. Family discussions between which salad is the best - John's or Ken's - continue. The Olive Tapenade & Hummus - yummy. We all had different entree's which were excellent. Will be back soon!
One of our favorites. Great salads and entrees. Consistent always! They have a small menu but we've never had anything that wasn't excellent.
Went with a coupon which was great. Bison burger is a weak effort. Tiny patty on a huge roll with warmed potato chips not made in house. Jambalaya pasta was really good and tenderloin was excellent as always.
We had very slow service on Saturday night. I am assuming it was because of the BOGO entrees that evening with the email coupon that went out.
I had made a reservation online but the employee must have not marked us as there on open table as I received an email stating I missed our reservation.
The waitress was very pleasant and nice the surroundings were exceptional really enjoyed the food will be going back
I felt like I was in a glorified Denny’s.
We used to love Epic and dined here 2-3 times/mo (years ago). We no longer live in the neighborhood, but went back tonight and it has really changed, unfortunately meaning crashed. I wasn't asked how I wanted my steak cooked, so assumed it would be medium at worst. I was served a piece of leather. The server broke the cork opening the $88 wine and spent 20 minutes fishing it out, but we still ended up with cork in our glasses. No discount. For the price, I expect much more.
Flat bread with smoked salmon: the salmon was over cooked and hard.
Beef Tenderloin: cooked med rare as ordered but had no flavor. Mashed potatoes tasted like boxed and were watery with very little flavor. The gravy over the tenderloin was very good and the asparagus was tender and flavorful.
Service was good also
New Epic reboot was not what we had hoped. Inside decor looks brighter, but no drastic change, except for blocking off kitchen view. Menu was basically the same with a few extras. Our server was not very attentive.
Everyone’s mashed potatoes were cold. The Thai dish was overcooked and mushy. The filet steak was overcooked. We were really looking forward to a new menu, didn’t seem like much had changed and there was no special that night. Usually a pretty good experience but it might be awhile before we return
Food was the same and just ok after they advertised having a new look and menu.
The Ken's salad was exceptionally good and the barramundi was good but the sauce wasn't very tasty so will not order that dish again just because the right flavor of sauce is very important.
Epic has done some remodeling and other changes. It is nice and bright inside and added a bar. They have new items on the menu!! All of the changes were nice. As always, a great place to go for dinner!!
The food was excellent. The new menu was a little confusing but we figured it out. We like that it seemed brighter in there before. You must have done some remodeling.
We always get the clams and tenderloin. The tomato basil soup is excellent too.
I had your angel pasta. Had it in the past. The recipe tasted different. I liked the old version better.
I like your new flatbread better. Thank you for your lovely restaurant. We keep coming back. I miss the lovely flowers in the restroom!!! Oh—-best salads ever!!!
We went for our Anniversary and it was wonderful. The food was excellent! Our server was great and helpful in making food choices. We loved that it was quiet and serene so we could enjoy our conversation. Thank you for one of the best dinner options we have had in a long time. We will return soon.
The food was very good! The service was a little slow,
The food was good as usual, my only disappointment was there were substitutions on the sides on some of the dishes we ordered and we didn’t find out until our food came out. The waitress should have informed us of these when we ordered so we could have selected different entrees or possibly different substitutes. The waitress also disappeared at the end of the meal when we wanted the check. That is one of the times they should be most attentive, she kind of dropped the ball twice.
Ken's salad is really tasty. Flat bread with salmon is yummy. Beef tenderloin rocks. Wished they served a dinner role or bread of some kind. They could even list as a side on the menu.
The music was a little loud on Friday night, was hard to have a conversation.
Our meals were yummy!! Service was a little bit slow- short staffed. Would highly recommend this restaurant!
Looking for an upscale restaurant closer to home and found it in Epic Casual. Appreciate the locally sourced and organic food options.
This place is great. Love everything about it. The food is great. Everything about it. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Music was entertaining
Good, healthy food, sensible portions. Best artichoke in town
Our first visit to Epic and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was excellent, in keeping with partner restaurants, prices reasonable and we had a delightful server which made the meal. We will definitely be returning.
I've recommended Epic Casual Dining many times over the years to family and friends. They have never disappointed. Our favorite time to visit is in the evenings with the live music.
One of our favorites whose consistency in both service and food quality brings us back again and again. Old favorites and new specials also provide a satisfying experience!
Terrific food and great service. All 10 of us loved it.
