Dined here for dinner for the second time and it’s safe to say that Eos & Nyx is now one of my favorite restaurants in San Jose. The food and service is always top notch. I highly recommend dining here. We’ll definitely be back to try their brunch.

Our server was amazing, gave good explanations of dishes and portion sizes. Pacing was good including palate cleansers and we really enjoyed our experience and the ambiance. Food-wise, standouts were the NY strip and dip trio, everything else was good but these two are must-gets!

I really wanted to enjoy our Father’s Day dinner at Eos & Nyx, but unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. We started at the bar, and the drink I ordered just wasn’t good. That in itself wasn’t a big deal some drinks just don’t hit the mark but it set the tone for the rest of the night. We were seated outside, which seemed fine at first, but we were approached by several homeless individuals while we were eating. I understand that’s sometimes part of dining outdoors in the city, but it made the experience uncomfortable. What made it worse was that the staff didn’t step in to help or even offer to move us somewhere more comfortable or private. Our waitress wasn’t very welcoming and didn’t offer any suggestions or guidance with the menu. We ended up relying on Yelp photos to figure out what to order. The food we chose looked great online, but everything was overpriced and lacked flavor. The service was noticeably slow, likely because we were seated outside. Our plates came out with long gaps in between, and by the time our main dishes arrived, the food was cold and we had already lost our appetite. Overall, the ambiance, service, and food quality just didn’t live up to expectations, especially for a special occasion like Father’s Day. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return
