Eola Hills Legacy Estate Vineyard
Tom’s dream was rooted in facts. Through his occupation as an agricultural insurance specialist in the 1970’s, he knew what to look for in potential vineyard sites. Tom convinced a handful of close friends and family members to invest with him in purchasing a 35 acre wheat field on Oak Grove Road, just a few miles west of Salem, on a site he felt was ideal for growing grapes.
Pomegranate, black cherry, strawberry. Given the easy hand on the Oak regime, the intensity of this vintage of Pinot noir is incredible. The mouth-filling, elegant tannins are solely derived from the grapes themselves. The high percentage component of Eola-Amity Hills fruit out of Oregon's Willamette Valley gives an earthy and dark fruit character that's intense, but not heavy on the palate.
Bright, citrus fruit, orange rind and lemon cream. Inspired by memorable visits to Epernay, France, longtime Winemaker Steve Anderson crafted this special méthode champenoise brut based on iconic examples of Champagne. Featuring Chardonnay clone 352, its bright and clean profile is complemented with notes of orange rind and lemon cream.
Velvet, dried cherries, bright, youthful. Modeled after the classic from the Côtes du Rhône region in France, Cuvée IV is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre and a touch of Cinsault. Our GSM (C) is adored for its complex red fruit flavors and age-worthiness.
Elegant, hint of red fruits. A Brut style sparkling Pinot Noir Rosé produced from 100% Pinot Noir Wadenswil from our own Legacy Fossil Block estate grown grapes within the Eola-Amity Hills of the famed Willamette Valley. Clean, bright, fresh & tinged with aromas of red fruits.
Passionfruit, Green Pineapple, Red Currant, Nectarine. A blend of Chardonnay, White Riesling, Muscat and Merlot grapes sourced from Oregon's Willamette, Columbia and Umpqua Valleys, this intensely aromatic wine features notes of nectarines and red currants with a hint of herbaceousness and wonderful mineral finish.
Cherry, vanilla, coconut. This reserve Pinot Noir is a thoughtful barrel-selection showcasing our finest lots in the cellar which were fermented separately by vineyard and block and blended to create a perfect picture of each given Oregon vintage. The 2017 has proven itself to be full of fruit and full of life. Flavors of dark cherry, ripe berries and earth mingle with smoky tannins in this premium Pinot.
Guava, grapefruit. Made from estate-grown grapes sourced from our Oak Grove Vineyards, this wine expresses itself in the glass with exotic fruits and perfumes. Sublime notes of guava and grapefruit peel, without the grass. The finish is light and reminiscent of the lemon zest.
Dark fruits, blueberries, vanilla spice. Made with grapes from Oregon's Applegate Valley and the Columbia Valley. A full-bodied, smooth, and satisfying wine redolent with aromas of blueberries and plum, intense vanilla spice.
Honeysuckle, spice. This Oregon Gewürtzraminer is made in a slightly sweeter German style. The first sip envelopes you with tropical fruit -guava, honeysuckle -followed by aromas of apple cinnamon spice. A smooth, off-dry wine with balanced fruit and acidity, medium-bodied with a hint of roasted macadamia nuts on the finish.
Piña Colada, vanilla, light oak. Balance is a tenant of our winemaking philosophy at Eola Hills. In the case of our Barrel Select Reserve Chardonnay, the fruit, oak and acid all come together in harmony. Barrels are selected from various vineyard lots throughout Oregon, showcasing our state's unique appellations and aged for 14-18 months before blending.
Ripe Asian pear, Royale Anne cherry. An outstanding example of Oregon Riesling. With crisp entry, this wine transitions to a smooth, rich mouthfeel. In both aromatics and on the palate, the fruit character of Asian pear and yellow cherries shines through.
Ripe strawberry and rose petals, braced with a bright finish. This 100% Pinot Noir Rosé gets to the heart of Oregon's signature varietal with an expression of balanced acidity, layers of red fruit and floral notes. Sourced from our Legacy Estate Vineyard's iron-rich volcanic and marine sedimentary soils, each sip exudes an essence of ripe strawberries and rose petals, braced with a bright finish - an extraordinary wine that can be enjoyed anytime.

Zesty floral notes, Stone fruit and Lemon-Lime. Featuring sustainably-grown fruit from our dry-farmed estate in the heart of the Willamette Valley, this Sparkling Müller-Thurgau was crafted following the traditional méthode champenoise of renowned French producers. A rarer find in the New World, our sparkling Müller-Thurgau bursts with lush stone fruit notes and lemon-lime zing.
Vanilla, apricot. Pressed from late-harvest, frozen Sauvignon Blanc grapes and barrel fermented in new French Oak, our Vin d'Or exudes aromas of vanilla, honey and pineapple. Its natural sweetness is supported by a strict acid backbone that displays the entire flavor the grape has to offer.
Fruit forward, earth driven, hint of oak. Glacial floods, lava flows and ancient seabeds gave rise to this fossil-rich slope in the Eola Hills of Oregon, where Pinot Noir vines are cooled each night by the ocean's tempering winds. Fossil Block, fruit-forward and earth-driven with a light touch of French oak, and from a place like no other.
Intense, black cherry, toasted oak. Deep, dark and serious, this full-bodied wine bursts with intensity and length. An extraordinary clonal selection, this Pinot is sourced from our Wolf Hill estate vineyard located in the Eola-Amity Hills of the Willamette Valley. The Dijon clone 667 contributes to the smooth, rich mouthfeel and concentration of fruit. Aged in Demptos American oak for nearly 16 months.
Dark red cherry, blueberry, dark chocolate. We sourced the perfect fruit from Oregon vineyards in the Applegate and Columbia Valleys to create this deliciously rich, long lasting merlot. Imagine the fruit-forward scent of ripe red cherries, blueberries, tinged with the freshness of rosémary blossoms, and followed with an intense taste of dark chocolate and roasted coffee beans. Aged 20 months in primarily New Hungarian Oak to smooth out the tannins and to bring out a vanilla bean-spiciness that lingers on your palate.
Plums, cedar, spice. The Zinfandel grapes used to craft this wine were picked from century-old vines on the Mohr-Fry Ranch in Lodi, California. These older vines tend toward fewer clusters of grapes with a smaller berry size, yielding more intense sugars, color and concentration of flavors, and producing well-balanced wines with more body and structure. Fermented at cool temperatures to extract soft tannins, then barrel-aged in older American oak for 36 months, a minimum of handling results in a maximum of fruit expression. A rich, silky entry evolves into a dusky, cedar and spice-accented mid-palate that balances the jammy notes and ripe plums.
Grapefruit, Tangerine, Honey. A balance of perfume and fruit on the nose are followed by ripe green apples and citrus fruits that dominate entry onto the palate. Crisp acidity focuses on the freshness of this spectacular vintage which is sourced entirely from estate-grown grapes from the Willamette Valley.
Blackcurrant, vanilla, cocoa powder. A refreshingly open nose of vanilla and berries will command your attention immediately. On the palate, wild blueberries with the added punch of ripe black currants. Almost three years in the barrel fleshes out the intense Cabernet quality while it completely marries with the oak, resulting in soft tannins, and flavors of cocoa powder and plum skins.
Smooth, rich, light touches of oak. Quality and value join forces to make this best-selling varietal. This stunning Chardonnay was barrel fermented and aged for 9 months in 20% new oak. Soft tropical fruit notes are balanced by oak structure and natural acidity for a finish that is subtle yet crisp.
Honey, spice, exotic fruit. Pressed from late harvest frozen Gewürztraminer grapes, our Vin d'Épice is unctuous, honeyed and spicy on the palate with flavors reminiscent of apricots and guavas. While the wine is very sweet, the spicy notes and firm acidity keeps it from being cloying.
Big, bold, strawberry-raspberry jam. Proudly made in the USA, this bold and delicious red wine is a blend of Zinfandel, Sangiovese, Merlot and Pinot Noir from three states –Oregon, Washington and California. The wine opens with aromas of intense fruitiness that lead into a soft and smooth palate, and the textures and flavors of red berry jam. Take a bottle of Eola Hills PATRIOT RED to your next gathering... your friends and your family will salute you!
