Inspired by Florida’s true history of rum running, Enzo’s Hideaway brings to life the tale of restaurateurs Enzo and Maria who discovered a hidden cavern used by bootleggers during prohibition as a place to store their haul. Enzo restored the space into his personal speakeasy where he would entertain friends and family.. Today, the aperitivo-style lounge focuses on keeping Enzo’s original concept at heart by serving great cocktails and Roman inspired cuisine, with service reminiscent of being at an Italian family dinner.
I should have checked the menu for magical dinning ahead of time. Not many options compared to other places. Reserved an outside table and they had me for indoor seating. No one was at the front reservation desk for a couple of minutes then when they came we still had to wait at the bar for our table which there was no one outside.
Food was average compared to other high end Italian restaurants.
This was referred to us by a friend and I am so glad they told us about it. My husband and I have never had such a great experience or such amazing food. Enzo was our server and he was nothing short of amazing and attentive. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Great dining experience, will definitely be back
Atmosphere is very authentic. Our waiter was actually from Sicily. Food was good. Portions were very generous. We ate from the Orlando Magical Dining menu which is a 3 course fix price menu. Can’t comment on regular menu since we didn’t experience it. Only 3 options for entre which were mostly non meat pasta options. Meal was very flavourful. I would go back.
We love Enzo’s Hideaway! The concept is a bootlegger’s smuggling tunnel from the Prohibition era. The ambience is interesting yet warm and comfy, with lots of booths, Edison-bulb lighting and a beautiful bar area. The food is rich and delicious (the lasagna and eggplant parm are sooo good) but also fresh. (The salad includes fennel and mint!) All the staff are very courteous and attentive, and native Italian speakers. The drinks are delicious using such Italian favorites as limoncello and Aperol. My only complaint would be the drinks are on the pricey side for what you get (about $15 per drink.) But overall, we love this little hideaway restaurant and highly recommend!
Enzo and Fabrizio were amazing, had a great experience.
Amazing dinner, one of our favorite spots! Huge portions!
Our waiter, Stefano, was great!
Plan to bring family for our next visit!
Andrea was a fantastic server, very attentive and polite. We had tomatoes and mozzarella to start, ravioli as our entree and the blueberry cheesecake and olive oil pistachio cake for dessert. Food was delicious. Will definitely go back again.
Enzo's hideaway bar was pretty amazing it lived past my expectations in every area but the food. The food was great but the portion were on the small side. Other than that it was perfect.
Arrive early and have a seat at their bar. Bartenders are very attentive and their drinks are wonderful. Food was great and is sizeable to share.
Our server Samantha was phenomenal. She gave great recommendations on both the food and the drinks and gave our group superb service. The chef prepared a delicious special that half the group ate and was to die for. Looking forward to coming back.
Shortly after arriving the power went out and I was not able to experience the restaurant
A favorite for locals
Great place and food.
Consistently the best Italian food I've found in Central Florida. The pasta is always cooked right - never mushy like most restaurants.
The food was great but the service was awful! We had reservations at 7:30 and we didn’t get sat till 8:00. It turned into over a two hour dinner and left my entire party upset.
I was a little disappointed in the service but the food was good. I asked for the caprese salad with advacado the waiter pointed to a caprese salad on the menu stating that was the item. I ordered it but it was the wrong salad. I asked for a side of meatballs & sausage but only received sausage. I accepted both as misunderstandings but disappointing the same..
Great service, good but expensive food. It was not busy when we were there, but it seemed loud, likely very loud when they are busy. I'm just guessing.
Amazing food, service, and atmosphere.
Reception not great. Could have invited us to the bar for a drink instead of “Your table isn’t ready”. Rushed service with mains appearing as we finished some salads.
What a find! The ambiance was great and though it was a full restaurant, we appreciated that we were able talk to each other. We shared the Nonnas pasta for 2. At first we thought it was a small portion but we sure were full and it was delicious. What a lovely dinner. We checked out the other restaurants afterward in the area and we were so pleased with our choice. We definitely would go back.
Great service and dinner. Craft cocktails are a must to try. Good for family’s.
We had an awesome experience! Highly recommend. Stefano was an awesome waiter!
Great service and wonderful tasting food
It was a great place to relax and didn't feel like Disney at all. The service was very attentive and the food was good. Drinks were good too! Loved the concept. Would dine again.
Waiter could have been more attentive since the restaurant wasn't very crowded and he missed the kids' drinks orders. He was friendly and made good recommendations. Food was very good and abundant wine list for all price points.
We ordered a Nebbiolo something you don’t see much in the US and the steak was the best sirloin I’ve ever had! The pasta was absolutely delicious and all sauces were great. The olive oil served with the bread was jus as good as what we had in Italy.
This place seated us on time, served us quickly. The food came so fast but we never felt rushed and out waiter was great. We would definitely come back... our best meal in Orlando.
What a great dinner experience for our family!! Yari and Francisco, our waiters, were outstanding! So personable and engaging. Both were from Italy, as it should be for an Italian restaurant. In particular, we've never had better mozzarella cheese...so smooth! The lasagna was great, too. Melanie, the manager, also stopped by to greet us warmly. We will definitely go back the next time in Orlando!!
Beautiful restaurant and great service. Wish I lived nearby so I could go every week!
Food was good, atmosphere was nice. The nonnas meal for two was extremely small and overpriced. Service was slow but staff were kind. Overall, money for value didn’t equate.
Very few entree options. Prices way out of line with portions. $14 for a green side salad? Food was served hot and had good flavor. Asked for additional parmesan cheese, expected fresh, not powdered. Nice location, just way overpriced.
The food was great and the staff was amazing. The staff made sure we were always taken care of and asked us a number of times if we needed anything. They were very attentive and very accommodating.
Alessio was awesome! Food and service was pleasant!!
The food was mediocre and my eggplant and appetizer were luke warm. Disappointed.
Two people in my party got the spaghetti bolognese as their meal and it had no meat in it. We maybe found 2 pieces in the whole plate. That is the only reason for the poor score.
We were a party of 8 including two young children. We were placed in a remote corner which was actually part of the wine racks. It was also the walkway to the toilets so not perfect. No problem at all with wait staff. All very pleasant and helpful. However, two members of our party had to send their food back because it was cold. It was dealt with very professionally and we weren’t charged for either meal but two of the group eating after everyone else had finished wasn’t very good.
What an amazing place this is! So authentic it felt like we were in Italy! The food was beyond spectacular, as was the service!
