Enzo's Bistro and Bar Rancho Mirage
An awful lot of dish/glass ware noise made by the bus people or wait staff, made it hard to hear my dining companion.
Appetizer ordered by table across from us was spilled on the floor and numerous staff walked by it several times and a good five minutes later it was cleaned up....a definite safety hazard for customers and staff alike.
Great place and the food was good. Sat outside the it was very nice and would go back.
Very nice restaurant. Busy, but good service generally. Not a five star restaurant, but good food at affordable prices.
What a terrible experience. The bimbos at the desk couldn’t figure out how to seat us at our table, the waitress couldn’t bring the right bottle of wine and the food was awful. Now I know why they have a coupon for a free entree. Stay away!
We had heard how good the Ribeye steak was from a review. We were extremely disappointed as the steak was at least 50% fat and chewy. We were not happy with the offer of a free dessert after spending $45 for the steak. We did like the caprese salad
Wonderful food! Table by back door not very appealing, very noisy and a service pathway we had to look at. Great pianist and we Will Return!
The food was good - the atmosphere fine - service was also very good.
I have eaten at enzo's in LaQuinta and this one is just as good but I think much better atmosphere.
Our first time trying Enzo’s in Rancho Mirage. We were seated inside in a back section where we waited 15 minutes until finally flagging down someone to call the manager. Our server finally showed up and apologized. The manager sent us a cannoli dessert as an apology for the poor service.
After all this, our server was not very friendly during the rest of the meal, only showing up to take our order, check on things and bring the bill at the end.
The food is good at Enzo’s, but in our opinion, serving portions are smaller compared to other Italian restaurants, and the prices are high for Italian food, in comparison.
Our recommendation is to sit in the bar section during happy hour and order the drink and food specials there. The bartenders are friendly and the service is much more attentive there than in the restaurant.
We were a party of 3 regular Palm Springs area diners. The piano player was delightful!
The Mista salad was a bit too large a portion to accompany a large entree. I suggest splitting as 2 of us did with the excellent Romain Wedge salad. Entrees of Short Ribs was very good, the Veal Marsala was very tender but very bland without any unique flavor. The Bolognese was superb and the pasta with all the dishes was homemade and perfectly cooked. For desert we split one Cannoli that was excellent.
Service was a bit slow with some “trainees” on hand.
Hostess was rude and abrupt. No customer service. We arrived early for our reservation and were told that we would have to just wait until our reservation time. People walked in after us and asked for a table (no reservation) and we’re seated almost immediately. Why make a reservation.
Service was just adequate.
This was our first time here and it was wonderful. We will go again very soon. One of the finest restaurants in the Valley and very welcome to all.
This was our first time in Enzo's. Sufficient parking. Nicely appointed dining rooms and patios. We ate on the dining patio. We will try the bar patio next time just to mix it up. Gracious hostess and service. I thoroughly enjoyed my generous insalata mista, the fresh rolls and entree, the short ribs. They were tender and delicious served on al dente fresh pasta noodles with just the right amount of peas and gravy. My husband enjoyed a cup of their minestrone soup but thought the raviolis were so-so. They were served with a marinara sauce and he prefers a cream or pesto sauce. Our friends thoroughly appreciated every bite of their shrimp with pasta and the eggplant special. For our tastes Enzo's has a nice variety of offerings for wine by the glass. We will be back.
We had buy one entree get one entree free so the value was excellent! Love the eggplant Parmesan stack. Big portions. My husband got the Halibut and loved it. The faccacio
bread was great.
The service, from the front desk on, was excellent. We began our evening (6 in our party) in the bar and finished in the outdoor dining area. Can’t wait to return.
Our server, Mary, was incredible! Friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient. The food was delicious. Noise level a little high but restaurant was packed. Gentleman playing piano was a nice touch. Will definitely return.
We requested and were seated on the patio overlooking the fireplace and waterfall. The weather was perfect fro outdoor dining, and the service and food did not disappoint. Our server was very gracious, attentive and accommodating. Overall, a great place we will visit again on our next trip to Palm Springs.
We usually go for Happy Hour, but this was for dinner with friends. They offered us the Wine Room that has 4 tables in it and we were the only ones in there. A wonderful private dining experience. Three of us enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs, fettuccine Alfredo, and veal with pasta. My wife is gluten free and got the veal with the gluten free pasta. It was not as tasty as the regular and the veal was cooked differently. She would not get it again. We had our own wine and the service was very good.
Definitely worth trying this restaurant for either Happy Hour or dinner.
Bread was cold; sent back; replaced with still cold. Arancini cold. Left at this point.
It was our first time at this restaurant. We had reservations and when we first walked in the front desk person was talking with someone and did not acknowledge we were there for a few minutes. She saw us apologized and took us to our seat. The bruchetta is very good and fresh. Both my husband and I ordered Pasta which was very good. I had a gin martini and it was perfect. Our waitress was really good and on it. We are looking forward to returning there again.
The patio is really beautiful and our food was very good. However, our server was one of the worst I have ever had anywhere. Everything was very delayed and she never checked back for cocktails - 1 and that was it. Asked for additional bread and was told we still had a piece or two so I guess that was all we were allotted. Sat for an extended time with empty plates waiting for the check. Will try again.
Food was delicious Service was less than adequate
Ate here because of a 2 for 1 coupon. Sat outside, very nice. Service was very slow even though not very busy. Food was average. Will not return
Hello.. three of us had the honor of dining with you Thursday night, and what a wonderful time was enjoyed by all. All waiter was Keith, and he was super friendly , and very attentive. One member of our party was gluten intolerant, and Keith was very kind and caring to make sure he was able to order something safe and delicious to eat ( Shrimp Risotto ) .... The Veggie Pizza we ordered and shared was a tasty and more healthy option for pizza lovers . We sat outside on the back patio near the Fireplace and had a spectacular view of nearby Mountains. There was a water feature nearby and some delicate background music that made for a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. A manager came by on two occasions to make certain that we were all happy and content. We felt very welcomed and very valued as guests of the establishment. We will be back again soon to try more selections. Thank you most kindly.
Service was poor, wait staff almost non-existant. Three of four dishes were not good. even spaghetti Bolognese. Dining area is cavernous and sound echoes.
Nice evening good food and service
Inside it is so loud we had to practically yell so we could hear each other. We would of sat at the patio but we weren’t able to get the happy hour bar menu. I would suggest that Enzo allows patrons an option for happy hour bar menu on the patio. It would make my family and I want to go there more often. The food is great and service is superb,
Loved this restaurant. Food was wonderfully prepared and arrived at a good temperature. The manager was so welcoming and even suggested which wine we should try. We tried his selection and it was wonderful. Problem is we can't find it anywhere in Arizona.
Ambiance was great with soft Italian music playing. Only problem was our server. She was a very sweet and friendly person, but not the greatest waitress. We waited quite awhile before she came to take our order and then during dinner, not once did she come over to ask how our meal was and if there was anything else she could do for us. We had to pour our own wine each time. She finally came over after we were almost finished eating to check on us. Should have been a little more attentive.
All in all we enjoyed the meal and they were kind enough to give my husband a free desert for his Birthday.
Enzo’s has made great strides toward becoming a fine dining experience for an everyday dining price. The live piano enhanced the experience by providing just the right level of background music. The food prepared by Chef Nick Novello was authentic yet light. Even the vegetables and heirloom tomatoes were mouthwatering.
The mid-century modern venue is beautiful and with a few adjustments to decor such as mid-century lighting, real plants, and artwork throughout of the stars who frequented the restaurant when it was Dominick’s, the dining experience would be exponentially elevated.
Run-Don’t Walk-to Enzo’s !! The best Italian food in the desert! And the most responsible! What a treat! We love going out for lunch, and lucky us—Enzo’s decided to open for lunch. We can’t wait to go back!
Atmosphere isn't what website says....elegant & authentic Italian...hardly. The location used to be a seafood restaurant and all that they have changed are the paintings/photos on the walls. It still had a feeling of a wharf restaurant Chicken dish was so salty that we could barely eat it. Bread was dry. Pasta is supposedly home made but wasn't good, either overcooked or something else wasn't right. Some people might have liked the amount of olives on their version of a wedge salad but to me it had way too many and not enough Gorgonzola or prosciutto. The lentil and sausage soup was flavorful but lacking in visible sausage. The best item we had was the eggplant parmigiana. It was nicely done. I won't return.
Great food and service
Overpriced for what you get.
I would recommend Enzo's Bistro and Bar Rancho Mirage to anyone who is looking for Italian cuisine.
Enzo's has very good food and wonderful wait-service staff who are attentive to customers' desires to either stretch out or condense their meal times (I've had a need for both on different visits). It's an easy choice to make when wanting to go out for dinner as their menu has something for everyone.
Very large portions but very mediocre quality. The bread was very doughy wine expensive and the service very fair. I would not go back
Food and service was amazing, this is our second time and we will definitely return.
My husbands Calamari steak dinner was more like fried chips. He should have sent it back, but didnt want to make a fuss or have to wait even longer than we already had, to order something else. My dinner was very good.
Nice restaurant, great outdoor patio, food is excellent but needs to work on service.
First time at Enzos..we loved it. Our server Mary was GREAT!
Great food and service. the lasagna was amazing. Also has a nice wine list to choose from as well as a full bar.
