Enzo's Bistro and Bar
Wonderful food, exceptional AMAZING service! Just had the best time in this darling inviting Italian restaurant!
This is our second time to this location. Server was very good and very attentive. Food was delicious as before. Will be going back.
Great food and even better service! Very authentic and flavorful Italian food. Wait staff was very attentive.
Food was excellent, but it was very noisy. Not a place to have much conversation.
Had a casual 1 year wedding anniversary dinner at Enzo's. I see most of the reviews online are good so we must have had an usual experience, but we had probably the worst service/dining experience we have ever had, anywhere. Our server brought out the wrong cocktail twice, each time blaming the mistake on the bartender. We had to ask for bread multiple times. Our food came out without utensils - we had to ask for them. My husband's pasta had a fly in it; after our server took it away she told us it wasn't a fly but a piece of arugula - weird as the pasta my husband ordered was not supposed to contain any arugula. Eventually our server brought out a "new" pasta, without utensils again. After waiting a while for new utensils we just asked for the check and left to get a proper meal at another restaurant. We both have a service industry background and we understand mistakes happen - a fly in a meal is gross, but it happens and these things are fixable. We gave our server every chance to address the problems. Instead of owning up to her mistakes and sending over the manager over to see what can be done to mitigate this comedy of errors, or discounting our meal (the least she could do is not charge for a basic cocktail that took 3 tries to get right), she kept shifting the blame and acting like nothing happened. When the fly incident happened, she simply told my husband "it's just not your day is it." Enzo's seemed like a nice spot (the salad was good and the wine list was very reasonable) but this experience was completely unacceptable, especially since we each ended up paying $100+for a meal we ended up not even being able to eat. At the time we didn't complain to management as we just wanted to enjoy our anniversary and not create a fuss, but we wanted to make the restaurant aware of this.
Just a lot noisy when crowded, which is most of the time.
Bartender Martine is amazing! Short ribs to die for!
Food took 90 min. to come out of kitchen, most was send back and dried out and cold.
there were 6 of us and only 1 person could eat there dinner. Service was terrible and hey did not have enough waiters. We have all been there several times and none of us will go back.
Dining room vs. bar area. Dining room quiet which i enjoyed for a bday dinner. Overall all good food and drinks, great service, will return again.
2nd time we have eaten there. So delicious. I will recommend Enzo’s to everyone and we will go back a lot. We live in Palm Springs and will try the one in Ranch Mirage soon.
Come here often, but as usual seated next to a large party, to loud had to ask to be moved. Unfortunately it was crowded and the noise level was bad. They still need to improve on the room being too noisy. Food is acceptable, depending on what you order. Some entrees like the clams and pasta is very good, pizza not so good.
Great service and wonderful food! Best regards from Sweden!
Very good menu with a nice selection of nightly specials. Service was attentive and helpful.
Consistently great food and service.
Always great food and service whether dinner or happy hour
Our first time at Enzo's so we went early for dinner. The service was excellent. They have a different take on food. The brussel sprouts were to die for.
Salad was very good as was the pizza but the steak was below par, especially given the price. Very noisy as well.
Always great customer service & excellent food. The server was friendly & enthusiastic. And the Chef (Mario) went above & beyond as always
Surprisingly good. Good service. La Quinta location has a great set up & a bocce ball court. Will definitely go back again.
My new favorite restaurant! We live in LA and come to LaQuinta frequently to visit my sister. We now eat at Enzo’s every time we’re here.
All around 5 star dining experience. Service was prompt and attentive. I will surely be recommending Enzo’s to everybody.
Excellent food and service. Consistent with every visit.
The service was slow. The chicken I ordered was so dry I could't eat it. They did not charge me for it and said that it was the third dry chicken complaint they had that night.
This was our 4th time dining here. We were disappointed as all three previous tines were excellent. Do not know why but this time all was mediocre. We had okay service and the food wasn't as good as usual + it was cold when it arrived. Table position we had outside quite uncomfortable for a party of 6 - hard to maneuver to get up or down and not enough arm room. Hopefully this was a glitch as we are full timers here and we love to support our local businesses all year!
An excellent choice in La Quinta. Service was friendly and professional. All the popular Italian food choices are available, lasagne, parmigiana, spaghetti and meatballs, pizzas. Salads were particularly good with many ingredients in the mixed salad and, eureka!, white anchovies in the Caesar salad - love them.
It can get lively, noise-wise in the inside room. Portion size was generous. The wine list was great, or for a $15 corkage, BYOB. We will be back.
Fantastic, authentic, definitely coming back!
I appreciate that I could change the spagetti for risotto, also enjoyed the La Storia melot
Overall an excellent experience. We dined in the closed in patio, prefer the bar area in the future. Their Eggplant dish was the best my husbands ever had! 💃🏻
Delicious food and excellent service with Jose!! A must restaurant!!
Our second visit to this restaurant, and we were surprised that it was their 1-year anniversary in La Quinta -- resulting in a free appetizer and a $10 gift certificate for a subsequent visit. Food and service were great, and we'll definitely be back.
The food and atmosphere are good. You can choose to sit outside or in the bar we sat in the bar. The service could have been a little better as there was one waitress serving several tables so we had to wait to order. The brussel sprout appetizer was great and I enjoyed my vongole linguini. Nice to have more options in Old Town La Quinta.
Son’s 11th birthday - his fav place to eat and they didn’t even offer a scoop of ice cream....
Great dinner. Food was good as usual. Great server she remembered us from two months ago. The only negative was the food runner had no idea who ordered what and since it was Mother’s Day you would think the mother would be served first. It is disappointing that restaurants don’t train the runners properly, I hate raising my hand when the tell out who had this. If I want to raise my hand for good I could go to a fast food joint.
Service was spotty....server was very nice but overburdened. Mostly, irritating that we had a reservation and when we showed on time were informed table would be 20 mins. Instead, we were seated next to a table of 12 mostly intoxicated women who were over-the-top drinking and loud, literally yelling to one another 3 feet from out table. It ruined our meal, and we finally moved to the bar to get away from them and finish our dinner. Staff informed us there were multiple complaints from others about these women. Someone from the restaurant should have intervened.
The food is delicious, the atmosphere is very nice with an outdoor patio and also indoor seating with a fireplace . We had wonderful service and would definitely go back again!
I was quite shocked when our party arrived to be greeted by a very disinterested hostess who told us that she didn’t have a table for us outside. It was as though we had never made a reservation. We then waited 30 min for a table outside. The food was good, however, one of our pizzas had been broken in the making. Did we want it served broken or should they make a new one? The manager offered to comp that pizza, only to find it added to our bill. Despite it all we had a good time with our friends.
The food was good, but service was spotty. We had a long wait between getting drinks and ordering and even a longer wait (at least 30 minutes) to actually get our entrees. They did not appear to be especially busy. We had to ask twice for things like water and bread.
On vacation in La Quinta and visited Enzo's for the 2nd time and, as with the first visit, it didn't disappoint friendly greeting when we arrived, nice outside table which was sheltered from the wind. Excellent service as was the food. Will definitely visit when next in the area. A lovely little gem!
The resturant, staff and food was very good and we would recommend it.
We've been to Enzo's several times and we really enjoy the place, the food and the service (which is outstanding!)
