The server was great, attentive and prompt but not overbearing.
The food was bland though properly cooked.
Delicious Caesar salad, we both had pasta, excellent. Decadent dessert. Fresh brewed coffee
Delightful experience and delicious food. Will definitely return soon.
This was only the second time I have eaten at the restaurant, but it was better the first time. With four for dinner, one did not like it because the pasta they ordered was dry, one liked it except the Caesar salad was over priced for what you got and lacking basic ingredients like cheese, one didn't finish, and one thought it was okay. I am not sure I will give it another try.
Great restaurant, food and service were great. No cocktails just wine and beer.
One of our main go-to places! Always excellent food and the chefs & serving team are great. Thanks!
I enjoy the restaurant, but since they have no veal dishes anymore we go to other Italian restaurants much more often.
What a disappointment... Food was less than average and way overpriced for what it is. The service is nice and courteous but, at the end of the day, what matters is what you eat.
excellent consistently delicious food.
My wife's birthday was made all the more special by the wonder dinning experience we had at Enzo & Angela. The food was amazing. One does not often get salad reviews, but I recommend ordering salad. Healthy and packed with flavor. The salad was incredible. Pasta, of course, was amazing as well. After a couple of glasses of wine, the birthday evening was perfect. Thank you!
We always have a wonderful time at Enzo & Angela's .. the food is great and the servers are very, very sweet.... the room is one of my favorites in fact. It is modern and open and also very cozy. Thanks, Enzo & Angela's!
food was excellent. The ravioli stuffed butternut squash, yummy especially for vegetarians. Others in our party found the fish great and the linguine with clams wonderful. The restaurant is warm and cozy and the owners/chiefs delightful.
Food just did not taste good. Fish tasted frozen. Calamari was super tough.
The linguini with clams was just ok - not terrible but not special.
Honestly, they need to show more thought and care into their food preparation.
Wide selection of menu items; everyone in our party of four found something appealing and enjoyed the food served. We lingered after the meal; the staff was accommodating and allowed us to stay beyond closing time so we could continue business discussions.
If I lived closer, I would be a frequent customer here. The food is good, the service perfect and the owner is fantastic. It mirrors the experience of Italy where the owner engages in every aspect of the restaurant. A winner.
We enjoyed an absolutely delicious glass of house merlot .. a California wine Enzo & Angela was pouring. The food is always delicious and the chefs and staff are all probably the nicest people in the world.
We were desperately searching for an authentic Italian restaurant in West LA. We are Europeans and value the Italien kitchen very much. Very sadly, all our previous favorite Italian restaurants in the neighbourhood disappeared over the years. Thanks to Open Table we found Enzo & Angela. What do we like? It is a combination of many things: delicious authentic Italian food, seasonal recipies, nice ambiente, time to eat your food without a hurry (we usually spend 2-3 hours on a meal - yes! That is European style, learn something here, Americans! ;-)), opportunity to chat with the owners. This restaurant offers all of it. And the food is sooooo extremely delicious! Every bite is a little firework of taste (remember the scene in Ratatoille?).
Great food and great service!
Wonderful Italian restaurant, run by husband and wife team. Good food, casual and friendly atmosphere, good service. Feels like you are dining with good friends.
Perfect pasta! Angela always comes out to great her guests.
We two each traveled quite a distance to get here based on previous reviews. It was everything already said except quiet. Our table was ready and I was greeted by name when we arrived at 12:30 PM. Nice! But we had to wait for other diners to leave by about 1 PM for the place to quiet down enough for a "business lunch." It was also noted that they raised the volume of the music as the noise from the diners decreased. It's freeway close AND on the Rapid bus line linking Santa Monica to Westwood. Extremely convenient and the food was excellent. I'll be back for dinner and perhaps for a non-business lunch.
Fantastic dinner, but DONT skip dessert. Gorgeous AND delicious. Excellent and friendly service. We'll be back!
Awesome as always!
Enzo & Angela's is one of our favorite spots. The food is delicious and the people are warm and wonderful!
The best Italian restaurant on the Westside. Only beer and wine, not a full bar, but if you can deal with that, you'll be richly rewarded by the spectacular, inventive but totally authentic Italian cuisine!
You would never think an italian restaurant in a strip mall would be so amazing. Can easily eat here once a week.
You simply can't go wrong here!
Enzo & Angela's is our VERY FAVORITE Italian restaurant, replacing
Tanino's. They never (ever) overcook fish and their pasta dishes are to die for. We go there every chance we get!
Stopped in for a bite, casual, after a day of errands. The salad was abundant but nothing creative. The bolognese dish was a bit bland. The lemon chicken tender, tasty. Overall nothing stood out. The wait staff attentive but can see their lockers from where we were sitting. All in all just ok and expected more due to the other reviews.
Dinner with a business associate. Good environment for conversation. My go to favorite is their Insalata di Salmone.
We really enjoyed having our Valentine's Day dinner at Enzo & Angela. Our food was fresh and flavorful and was servied piping hot. The pasta was perfectly al dente and tasted homemade. I had the linguini portofino and my boyfriend had the spaghetti bolognese -- both were delicious. We shared a salad that had spinach, corn and bacon -- although I might have preferred the corn to be grilled, not cold, the bacon was a nice touch! We shared glass of of the house pinot noir, which really whet the palette. The servers were nice and prompt and didn't pressure us to hurry and leave. Highly recommend as a nice neighborhood Italian.
Authentic, creative and welcoming, Enzo & Angela has been hiding in plain sight for several years now, but no longer! It's a place where you can have a nice conversation while enjoying authentic homemade Italian specialties, and even test your Italian language skills as a bonus.
This restaurant has excellent food and wine. The service is also quite good and the overall experience is a good value. No problem recommended this place.
Great but pricey huge portions either 17$ or 28$ - friendly if your a regular
Great Resturant. Wish they were open later on the weekends.
This is a great restaurant. Do not be deterred by its location on the second floor of a small strip mall. This restaurant is every bit as good as the top Italian places on San Vicente nearby, at a much better price. The room is well staffed, assuring prompt, friendly service.
The dinner fixed price menu is one of the great bargains in town.
It would be wonderful to give this neighborhood gem a zillion stars! We love this restaurant - some of the best pasta in Los Angeles. The service is warm and friendly, the restaurant is quiet enough to chat with friends. HIGHLY recommended. (PS: try the chocolate cake)
we eat in this restaurant a lot. always enjoy the food and the service. we are treated very well on every and all occasions.
Lovely meal. Good food; charming service.
