Food and service was great! Food came quickly. Bar was backed up so drinks were slow to come out but were tasty. Fire alarm went off and for some reason the restaurant couldn't turn them off which was very loud and annoying. Otherwise our experience was good and we'll go back!
We are seniors and were seated between 2 tables with young children/infants. They were noisy at times as all children are so it is to bE expected. If the hostess was aware of this she could have seated us or them in a different area. Both tables finished and left before us so overall it was a delightful evening and we will return and recommend to others.
The food was mostly quite good. The ambiance was strange- like it's not sure if it wants to be casual or upscale.
I've been to Enoteca 12 or more times over the years. Always have been thrilled by their food, except for this last trip. We ordered 3 items. The Caesar salad was not a Caesar, neither with the composition of the salad nor with the dressing. Then we had lamb and osso buco. The lamb, with sprouts, was quite nice. Would have earned a 5. The osso was far too salty, overwhelming what could have been an excellent treatment of the meat, which appeared to be cooked perfectly. It sat on top of watery tasteless polenta, another mistake. The wine list has understandably been cut back but we still ordered an excellent Rosso from Tuscany. The service was great. Will have to try them again but they have to deliver higher quality dishes to get a better rating, and another bad trip will cause me to drop them.
Met by owner as we walked in. Very engaging and friendly. The staff was, as well. We will be back.
Food was great, great service.
The food and service was fantastic. Definitely put this on your list for frequent visits.
Went for date night. Had a great bottle of wine. I got the gnocchi which was fantastic and my boyfriend got the bolognese which he enjoyed as well. We also got the roasted fingerlings. For dessert we had the ricotta fritters which were so delicious and came with a chocolate sauce and raspberry sauce for dipping. Our server Bobbi was great and very personable. We will be coming back for sure!
We brought out of town guests to one of our favorite places to eat in Loveland. The service was great, food delicious and overall we had a wonderful experience. The owner took the time to introduce herself and thank us for coming in.
One of our favorite Italian restaurants in Cincinnati. A great authentic menu. well prepared at value pricing. My favorites on this night were a first time purchased octopus skewer at only $8 (we wished we had bought two of them), a nice charcuterie plate; and, the very difficult to find in local restaurants, a spaghetti with clams. The wine list is made up of moderately priced various regional Italian selections, with a nice choice of wines-by-the-glass. My partner's Negroni was a perfectly proportioned traditional drink.
Service from Whitney was outstanding without being the least bit intrusive. The music level and selection was also to my taste: light background - unlike some restaurants that seem to think one is there to listen to music and not converse.
This was our first time at the Loveland location. We previously visited the O’Bryonville location several times. Not fond of the high top tables. Service was great. Wine selection was good. Veal meatballs were spot on - a little lemon zest. Grilled octopus and beets were OK. We went out on a limb with the clam pizza and liked it. Gnocchi was perfect.- nice pillowy texture. Definitely will be back.
Great food, service will be back!
Solid experience all around. Relaxing, pleasant interiors, good location, service/timing was good. No negatives whatsoever.
Love this place!!!
The food was very good. We ate outside and the sidewalk was vibrant. The inside is space is very nice as well.
First time here. Limited beer menu. No sandwiches; just starters with a couple of salads, pizza, pasta and entrées. Pizzas were limited in selection but nice size and the 4-cheese was good. No bread or salad with meal. For $11 got a very small beet salad. It was good but bad value. I liked the ambiance, and they opened the whole glass wall on the trailside; that was nice. Nice location near Loveland trail. They had outdoor tables. Unlikely I'd go back for dinner because I didn't think it was a very good value, however, could see going for drinks sometime.
Great server , didn’t over stay her welcome at all but still did a great job. Food was great , atmosphere was fun.. we will be back!
This was our first visit. Good variety of wines by the glass featuring Italian but including others as well. The Italian menu is somewhat small but offers a good variety of appetizers, pizzas, pastas, and main courses. We ordered a charcuterie board to share while we decided on our dinner. It featured three different thin meats and two delicious cheeses, crostini, honey and an interesting mustardo of mustard seed and marinated raisins. The osso bucco was a pork shank, fall off the bone tender. And served over polenta. My wife’s carbonara pasta was perfect. It was a perfect evening to eat outside, although the street noise doesn’t add much to the ambiance! Service was prompt but not rushed. This is a great place for a full meal or a pizza. We’ll be back.
I ordered the Halibut entree and it was maybe the best seafood entree I've had in the greater Cincinnati area.
Yummy...We were pleasantly surprised! We frequent the area, but hadn’t heard much about this spot since it followed in place of a lackluster Italian place that had went out of business ....Now I’m sad we didn’t go sooner! The food and service were amazing! We had the ravioli pasta special, gnocchi (the vodka cream sauce is spot on), cannelloni and carbonara. Literally all SO delish! Great Italian wine selection (I recommend the red blend). To top it off, the service was impeccable. Can’t wait to go back!
Took my wife here for Mother’s Day. This place is awesome. Excellent service, super friendly and helpful. Amazing salads and we had meatballs as our appetizer and they were delicious. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new restaurant to try. We will be returning !
Pasta was just ok, but the lamb was absolutely delicious! Nice respectful staff and would dine again!
I remember fondly a meal at this restaurant in its old location. Perhaps time has embellished my memory, but I remember it being superb. This meal was very good, but not quite as good.
The salad was too heavily dressed and with too much vinegar. The gnocchi were good as was the lamb. The potatoes and Brussels sprouts that came with it were even better. I would definitely return.
One other thing: the dessert menu needs work. Of the three options recited to us, two (ricotta fritters and cannoli) were much too heavy to contemplate following a substantial meal. We had to pass.
This is our go to dinner out- amazing food, service, space.
So happy to have tried out this restaurant for the first time - Will definitely be back! The owner and staff were wonderful, and the food was amazing. They also have a great wine list. So nice to have such a great restaurant in the downtown Loveland area.
The service was excellent, food was very good. I was disappointed that online menu on their website does not match what is being served. That seems like a simple task.
We intended to spend over an hour dining and it wound up being 2+ hours. As our dinner was wrapping up, our server was no where to be found and while we kept saying we were finished and ready to go, it took over 30 minutes for us to recieve our check and then even paying for it was challenging because we couldn't find her to give the card for payment.
Food was great, dining experience to sit outside was a major plus.
Not certain we would come back anytime soon due to length of the dinner. I'm not opposed to a 2+ hour dinner but when it's wrapping up at 9:30pm it's a bit of an annoyance especially when we were trying to leave well before then.
Waitress was lovely but very busy. We had no other plans that evening so it was not a problem. Food was disappointing. Veal meatballs were good but we were under impressed with the chicken marsala pasta and gnocchi with vodka sauce. Cannoli had no sweetness . The restaurant and bar area are beautifully decorated. The outside patio is lovely. Wish the food was better. I really liked the restaurant location and ambiance.
The restaurant has a nice vibe and great seating options both inside and out. The service was friendly. The food was mediocre. The cheese board had tough meat and crostini's that were too tough to eat. The entree's portions were small. I love bolognese sauce but this one was filled with too much garlic that it lacked full flavor. We may go back but I need to try other items on the menu.
Our meal was delicious and it was a beautiful night so the open-air atmosphere was delightful. The service was great, too.
The servers were so friendly and their appetizers were very good. We ordered the octopus and beet salad. Our entrées were amazing as well and the chicken was nice and crispy. Their cocktails were refreshing. I tried the pear martini and it’s quite the neighborhood gem.
Wonderful evening and Laura was an exceptional server. She was prompt but we never felt rushed. Great food and drinks.
The tables were evenly spaced, the service was prompt and fun, and the food was very good.
Nice ambiance and food
The marinara sauce is delicious! Our food was all outstanding. Service excellent. My only suggestions is to offer one or two more "fish" selections. Menu is limited for a non-meat eater.
It was our first time dining here, and we plan to return. Everything was delicious.
We are so sorry that we waited until now to try the new Loveland location, we always enjoyed Enoteca Emelia when it was in O'Brienville and we were sad when it closed. The food service and ambiance were fantastic and we wished we had taken pictures of the food but we couldn't stop from eating it. We will definitely be back and hopefully more of you will find out how superb their food is.
Every meal for the party of 5 was excellent. I had the halibut and it was delicious!!!
We love Corey who was our bartender that night! He’s hilarious and very accommodating. I ordered the fish that was delicious! I do wish they had better wines on the menu but I’m considering myself a wine snob. Other than that it was great!
