Wine, service, and views are exceptional. Food was average and bland. Great spot for drinks, one of my favorite bars in Madison. Servers are all amazing and fun.

My experience was very good with good food and service. I had the beet salad which was very goods it was served with creamy whipped goat cheese. My wife doesn’t usually like goat cheese but she liked this dish. I recommend the crispy lobster and filet. The lobster was seasoned and fried perfectly. The fillet was cooked a perfect medium rare. The creamy potatoes was very good but the asparagus was undercooked. Overall the dinner was very good.

The view of the Capital is a beautiful backdrop to wonderful food. Larger portions than expected, so 2 choices per person is more than enough. Service was awesome.

I made a reservation two days prior to and was still seated in the back by the kitchen. We asked to be seated by the window where many seats were open. We were told no. Those window seats were never filled during our entire visit - and we went early at 5:30pm. Our drinks were not strong at all - and full of ice. Food was good - but certainly not worth the cost. I don’t mind paying more when I know I’m also paying for the ambiance - but watching the kitchen was not the ambiance I was looking for.

I treated my boyfriend & family to a dinner for my boyfriend’s birthday. The restaurant is nice and the hosts were very sweet and friendly. I forgot my hosts name but she was “running around like a chicken w/ her head cut off” as we all joked with her together & still made sure we had an amazing time. Although my order was short ribs and they had ran out and we weren’t told until we were receiving checks, the truffle fries (aioli sauce was the bestttt) & other food I got to take part on at my table was great! We finished the night with their banana pudding desert & some pictures for my boyfriend’s bday & it was really great! (ladies make sure to use the bathroom… iykyk)

It was very hot in the restaurant. We mentioned that it was uncomfortable to the server who agreed. We are having really hot weather but the hotel should be able to adjust to the conditions.

Great spot for drinks. Some of the dishes are great and some terrible….The Chinese 5 spice Brussels sprouts terrible, the beet salad amazing. Awesome setting though!
