Eno Vino Downtown
I enjoy eno vino quite a bit but consistently their wait staff make the experience so great. They really know their menu and, unlike so many hoity toytie restaurants, they are all super down to earth and are happy to jump in with a suggestion if they see you struggling with a pretty detailed menu. Great food. Perfect place to celebrate my anniversary with my favorite girl. Will be back.
I was visiting my 97 year old Aunt in Madison from New Orleans as I did 2 years ago. We had dinner at Eno Vino then and we were very much looking forward to it! Everything met our expectations and then some! Our server Shelby was very attentive, friendly, and helpful! The food was exceptional and the dessert delightful! I found the air temperature to be a little warm, which is rare for me! But it was early afternoon on a rather warm day! The valet parking gentlemen were very kind as were the other staff at the restaurant! If I make it back to Madison, I will definitely return to Eno Vino!!
I'd like to see the vegetarian menu expanded. The options are good but I wish there were more. The seating is a bit crowded. The servers were having to squeeze between our table and another to get to other people. It felt cramped. Had to wait around 5+ mins for our server to come over with water. She apologized and made up for it but it wasn't the best way to start off.
A great experience overall from the elevator doors opening, revealing a stunning view of the capitol building, until our final good bye and thank you to the server. The food was excellent and the service was delightful!
Great food and energy with beautiful window views of state capital.
Everything was great. Great food and great service. I would definitely go again.
Fun evening catching up with friends. Server was polite and personable, checked up on us routinely to inform us where our entrees were and saw to it that we really had an excellent evening
Absolutely amazing!!! The lobster was ballin, the fries were boss and those Brussel sprouts nailed it. Best summer drink ever is that Side Piece, sooo smooth and thirst quenching.
Great service, delicious crafted food, and phenomenal views of Madison’s Capitol Building made the experience one to remember! Highly recommend coming here for a special night out, you definitely won’t be disappointed!
I was very happy that we were able to make a reservation at Eno Vino Downtown! The food was excellent and the service was great! We had a great time!
Great view of the capital and extensive wine list.
Small plates were very well presented but only of good quality and taste. Expectations based on presentation were therefore not met. Price a bit high for the quality.
Service was excellent.
There were two issues one the restaurant could not control and one that they could. There was a large table of couples who saw fit to bring their young children to the restaurant, kids being kids, they got bored very quickly and were obnoxiously noisy. Restaurant cannot help that. The on thing they could was the pacing of the meal, we ordered a vegetable that would have paired nicely with our fish entree. The server admitted that this was his oversight and it got served with the flat-bread pizza. Overall though, a nice evening, superb food, excellent service!
Just wish they had completely gluten free desserts. Everything else was amazing!
Food was great - the Thai flat bread and crispy lobster Especially. Oh almost forgot, the caprese salad was excellent too. Good service but noisy
Food was very good, service was good, the location is exceptional.
The food was excellent as was the service. The music was LOUD and annoying. We could barely hear each other or our server who kindly asked the manager to turn the music down. Our server was very sweet and brought a complimentary dessert for us.
Had reservations so got seated quickly. Saturday night so pretty busy. Overall good service but a bit slow with drinks. Food was excellent! We had a very nice evening 🤗🥂
The food and view are very good. But the servers seem to be plenty busy and not well versed. Our server was mediocre and basic mistakes...like when he brought over another table's plate with leftovers on them while collecting our dirty plates or when he failed to ask us if we wanted more coffee when we ran out as we had dessert after the meal.
This was an amazing place for an anniversary. The food was amazing, especially the chicken kabobs and the creme brulee. The view of the capital was stunning.
We celebrated our 48th wedding anniversary. Great food, great view. Enjoyed being part of downtown for an evening. Thank you.
Had a great time with my son and daughter-in-law. The menu selection was wonderful and the tapas were delicious. My only reason for not giving a 5 start rating was the excessive noise level which detracted from the ambiance.
Great food with a view.
Great atmosphere, great food, good service but a little too loud for our soft-spoken waiter. We will definitely be back.
I brought my family here for my birthday dinner and everyone loved the food. There was just enough on the menu for everyone to find things to eat but there weren’t too many that it was overwhelming. We already know what things we want to try next time we go. The location and views are unbeatable, but it is pretty noisy and you’ll have to raise your voice for the whole table to hear you.
Everything is great at Eno Vino. Not sure if I would recommend the prawns. The flatbreads are delicious and most of the other dishes are too. Great atmosphere.
Food taste and presentation is fantastic! Everything is always cooked as it was intended by the chef and the wait staff is always on point.
Food was good, service and timing for the kitchen were very poor. The staff seemed very inexperienced and overwhelmed. They could not keep up. It took us over 2.5 hours to get all the plates we ordered with sometimes more than 30 minutes in between small plates. Not good.
EV is our favorite place to take out of town guests because of the scenic Capitol and lakes views and the fun small plate atmosphere. Sometimes the waiters are very helpful about how much food to order and at what pace to keep things moving but leisurely enough for a conversation to happen. Finding our waiter when drinks are needed and then the time it takes to get drinks sometimes are disappointing.
We still like the place.
It's a really great place with a great view, food and drinks. I would recomend it to any one
The music was too loud, I couldn’t hear my wife across the table. The food was mediocre (for $120 worth of food and drinks). The truffle fries were soggy and the Thai ketchup was watery. Our filet and flank steaks were over cooked (WAY beyond well done) when asked for medium well (should be a warm pink center). The steaks were so tough the steak knives couldn’t cut through them. The table was not cleaned between plates and left with a mess of food (awesome to look at...) which we cleaned up ourselves. The grasshopper was tasty and would order again (if we ever come back). Overall, just a mediocre experience when it should have been an amazing anniversary dinner.
We had been wanting to come here for a long time and were excited to finally go. Unfortunately, the food was good, but not spectacular as we had hoped. Crunchy tomatoes not even cored, salty asparagus and salty lamb meatballs. The Brussels sprouts and the tomato soup were good. It will be awhile before we go back.
Lovely venue with a fabulous view. Great service, delightful staff and the food was incredible!
Hostesses were super understanding and caring of our tardiness. My mom and I were pretty late (which is unusual for us) due to traffic and they held our reservation! Great customer service from all staff members. Food was excellent. Hope to come back soon!
Server was wonderful. Food was delicious. It just took a bit too long to get a drink.
The unique and tasty cuisine is not to be missed. Choosing from either the cheese/meat board or bruchetta starts the meal off very nicely. Along with drink choices of superb wines by the glass or bottle and top-shelf liquor, the wide array of tapas and entrees were scrumptious and filling. The serving staff were personable and attentive. And to cap it all, the desserts offered a sweet and delightful end to a grand experience, with wonderful views of the Capitol and Madison.
The food and service were excellent! The view was magnificent! The only issue that will keep us from coming back is the high noise level.
Always a good experience! Creme brulee a must have!
