Eno Terra is on our favorite list in the New Brunswick and Princeton area. Great food, great wine, great concept, great ambiance. They could probably benefit from finding ways to decrease the noise level.
We came here to celebrate the night we got engaged. The pan seared octopus was amazing! So was the steak special and complimentary lamb meatballs. Thank you for your excellent service and helping to make it a night to remember!
Always a good meal. Terrific lobster pasta dish and bass.
We have been regulars since the opening - very reliable place with great food, excellent service, and quiet enough (upstairs) for a conversation. it has been a pleasure going there especially after spending a week in noisy NYC.
Eno Terra NEVER disappoints when it comes to amazing food. We have been there on many occasions, and there has never been a single dish that wasn't fantastic. The presentation is great, and the people are warm and genuine. Eno Terra is definitely our favorite restaurant in Princeton!
Great food and service, took my niece for her birthday. Very friendly staff, a bit on the expensive side, so only for special occasions
Good food and great service. Very nice design on the interior as well.
FOODIE ALERT ... Ok, this is a serious experience. Is it expensive? Yeah, it’s a little pricey. Will you regret it? Absolutely NOT! The menu is a little difficult to maneuver but hang in there because WOW it’s worth!
We were seated in the far back next to a wall. It was an extremely tight space whereby our waitress could not fit between us and the very loud couple next to us.
She forgot our water and then our side side dish. We were served bread twice even though we asked them to take it off the table. The entire restaurant was very loud... don’t try a date here!
Always a great meal at Eno Terra - consistently fantastic cuisine and wonderful service and ambiance
Delicious meal - well prepared! Very helpful with directions when we got lost and were late for our dinner reservation. Would definitely return another time when we return to NJ.
Great experience! Will return!
The occasion was a lunch to thank a retiring professional colleague whom I had hired, for his years of excellent service to an arts organization. Eno Terra is quiet, elegant, and allows for extended conversation.
The food and wines were just right, as expected.
Excellent food, great atmosphere, service is wonderful, recommend.
Mushroom soup and Salmon were delicious. Server very attentive.
Farm to table ingredients. Seasonal menu. Extensive wine list. Attentive service. Most recent visit didn’t disappoint. We visit every season.
Great food and wonderful service.
Consistently one of my favorites! Great ambiance and service, and of course the food is wonderful. Highly recommended!
Great service. Nice atmosphere, Good food, overpriced wine, and ingredients don’t match the dish (again). Sonoma Cabs for $16 and Chile cabs for $12 are NYC prices.
Hospitable staff, nice food, high noise level! We appreciated the special attention to the birthday person.
The mushroom soup that I had barely filled the base of the bowl. The flavor was good, however.
the food was nice and the service was awesome
The service was not pleasant starting from valet to our server. Food was fine but experience was spoiled.
I've never had a better sidecar. The fixed menu for Valentine's day did not disappoint. Service was attentive and informative. Building was charming and warm. Would definitely recommend.
Great food, service and ambience. Thank you Eno Terra baby.
We had a wonderful meal at Eno Terra. Service was primo. We started with the chef's choice of a meat and cheese platter which was suberb. Our salads were unique and fresh combination of ingredients. We all had fish and scallops; each meal was perfectly prepared and plated. Excellent celebration.
We went back specifically for the pork chops, which my husband loved last time we were there, but it wasn't on the menu. We both opted instead for the pork loin dish, and it was delicious. Stay away from the flourless chocolate cake though. Too dense and tough, not worth the calories.
Great food and service. My date and I were certainly the most rocking people in the joint as it seemed that most of the patrons favored v neck sweaters and oxford shirts but aside from the seemingly conservative crowd everything else was stellar. Food was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully plated. Service was top notch. Great wine. Lively scene just not our kind of crowd.
A rainy night. Visiting a loved one in a hospital. It was cozy and comfortable. The food was just so so. The waiter was perfunctory and everything came pretty quickly. Disappointed in the eggplant. How can an upscale restaurant serve a frozen eggplant lasagne? It looked like it had just been defrosted. I have had better eggplant at a cheap pizza joint. The tagliatelle with veal
Was pretty basic stuff. It wasn’t a bad experience...just pretty regular. The green olives were great and reasonably priced. The mussels were good too. The bread is nothing to write home about.
My first time there. Obviously a community favorite because it was packed - in a good way. Everything from the service to the food was well done. I will return many times, I am sure
Wonderful meal and service. Mushroom soup was the best I ever had.
Great restaurant with a really, really good wine selection. Service was very good for a restaurant of this type. The only knock is getting lukewarm coffee, which was quickly rectified.
What a memorable experience here!! We always pass this restaurant on our way to Princeton and I was drawn to the location and exterior when we went hiking opposite of this place. I brought my fiancé, Ant, here for a special birthday on a Friday evening. As a Designer/Art Director, I’m very observant in the littlest details and design. We always respect time slots for reservations so we always come 15-20 minutes early and told the host and hostess we can wait no problem. They were so kind to seat us early! The complimentary parking was a nice touch and being seated upstairs gave it an intimate vibe. Our waitress, Lilly, was so sweet and very attentive to us throughout the whole evening. And we had another server, I didn’t catch his name but he was amiable and well-mannered. The natural wood gives first impression a very rustic and classic hybrid while it complimented all the creative dishes that they served. Food overall was rich and creamy. The salumi and formaggi platter was just so good and it was nice to learn that they get their fresh breads from the local bakery in downtown Princeton! The complimentary trout dish was so delicious! During our main course, my fiancé turned to me as his eyes rolled in content, “I honestly can’t remember the last time I had a good steak!” And the scallops are to die for. And lastly, I always judge a restaurant by their bathroom: it was super clean, 2 bathroom stalls with doors, and a nice big body mirror with a couch! And while washing your hands, it’s fun watching the valet parking in action. While waiting for our dessert, we explored in their private room and I instantly fell in love with it for a potential dinner party. And going outside, the place looks so magical with the lights! Thanks for a lovely experience, I keep replaying it in my mind how smoothly the evening went and how happy my fiancé was after a stressful day. It redeemed the week we had. We will definitely come back. Thank you!!!
5 stars does not say enough about the quality of the service and ambience. We enjoyed our meal over a 2 1/2 your period, with attentive, bot not overbearing service. We had a great evening with friends.
Lynn is the best! Love her. Always has great recommendations and is extremely knowledgeable. Jess the hostess is welcoming from hello to goodnight.
Our salmon entree was disappointing. Small portion, canned beans and 2 (not kidding) pieces of wilted greens. All prepared very uninventively for $32!
Nice Birthday Dinner
Left a lot in the capable hands of the wait staff... from start to finish a great dinner!
Usually I prefer sitting in the bar but this was a special dinner. We had a perfect table near the fireplace. Everyone enjoyed dinner . We started with a cheese board- chef choice - all delicious from the nuts , bread to meats & cheese. The most envied app was the grilled octopus. Perfect. The mushroom soup was heavenly as well. The swordfish entree was very good. The eggplant parmigiana was a smaller portion but perfect for me. Crunchy and so flavorful. The steak and scallops were all hits as well. Good cocktails, great service, we were all quite happy we celebrated the big 87th birthday here! Thank- you!
