About Eno Terra
Located at the mouth of the Delaware and Raritan Canal in the historic Village of Kingston – equidistant from New York and Philadelphia – Eno Terra is the central meeting place for lovers of good food and exceptional wine. Eno Terra is dedicated to savoring and persevering time, tradition and the human senses, Eno Terra was built upon the original timbers of the nineteenth century general store Fisk Grocery. The building is home to a 1100 square-foot restored two-story Bar and Wine cellar featuring original timbers with Mortise and Tenon joints and tree pin nails. The building is also decorated by various Kingston area artists.

While we do have a private lot, we strongly recommend carpooling as the lot fills up quickly. On weekends we have complementary valet parking.

Eno Terra features versatile spaces for private dining and special events. Accommodating up to 60 guests in our large upstairs loft area, as well as our small private dining room holding up to 24 guests. A daytime event is bathed in natural light while an evening event is warmed by our unique oversized chandeliers. The space allows for many table configurations and supports events from corporate functions and rehearsal dinners, to wine dinners. Our professional, courteous staff greats all guests with a smile and has the knowledge and experience to make every event a success.

We were seated well past the time of our reservation - quite unusual for Eno Terra. A nice table with a knowledgeable server followed. The food was excellent and a very good wine pairing made it all the more enjoyable. The evening was a success in spite of the inconvenience at the start.
We were four long-time friends gathering for a get-together. Three of us shared 2 squash salads, which they combined and plated into 3 plates. The salad was delicious, particularly the cheese, which I think was a ricotta, baked into a small square and topped with nuts and herbs. Our dining companion had grilled octopus, which he pronounced delicious. Our main courses were also quite lovely. We had scallops, cooked perfectly and enhanced with delightful purees, two pasta dishes which were pronounced outstanding (the tortellini was a special, and the zitoni is on the regular menu- I did not get to taste either, as the recipients were unwilling to give up bites to share) and an eggplant parmesan, which was the one mild disappointment of the evening. It was tasty and attractive but not special. We also shared two desserts, a fruit crumble with ice cream and a banana bread pudding. Both were lovely. We had a leisurely, well paced meal made extra-special by our interaction with the server. When one of our party asked for recommendations of a Sicilian wine, he recommended a delicious bottle. She mentioned she was going to Sicily in the spring, and he came back with a series of lovely recommendations for places to visit, foods to eat, special alcohols to taste, etc. In addition to having perfect service, it was a pleasure to learn so much about Sicily from someone who obviously knew it well and loved it.
One of our party walks with a cane, and the free valet parking and ramp down to the restaurant, plus their kindness in seating us on the first floor were much appreciated.
We are frequent diners at Eno Terra, but, on this particular evening we were introducing friends to one of our favorite spots. The outstanding staff outdid themselves and our friends raced about their experience.
The beet salad appetizer was superb as was the grilled octopus. The short rib entree was excellent as was the pork chop.
The most fantastic part of the evening was the attention we received from the bartenders and service staff. They are the best!
If you want to be assured of a great time, head to Enoterra! It's not just a neighborhood gem, it's a gem period! The service is impeccable as always and the chef has a magic touch. Natalie's knowledge of the wines and the food is astounding and super impressive. WE had a great time. Thanks Team Enoterra!
Went for lunch with a friend. My friend ordered the skirt steak sandwich special was phenomenal. The skirt steak was a perfect medium rare, and the bread was perfect for the sandwich. The rock potatoes on the side were delicious!! I ordered the Zitoni, which was a pasta with a delicious, meaty ragu. We also ordered the cranberry and pear crumble, as well as the flourless chocolate cake. Both desserts were delicious! We would definitely return for another meal!
Eno Terra was a delightful discovery. The decor is pleasant and modern, and the menu offerings were varied. We started with an appetizer of prosciutto and cheeses, which was excellent. The Griggstown grilled poussin and the short beef ribs were delicious. Great food, and really good service with a great bottle of Riesling as the final touch. Very nice place!
What can I say? Had an excellent Negroni. Short-ribs were a special (Eno Terra makes the best I've ever had). Service was outstanding. I have visited this place for years, for special events and not so special events. I value the consistency of the staff, the food and the atmosphere...it never disappoints!
I made this reservation on open table and requested the fireplace because we dined here before. They gave us the fireplace so I was excited. We requested for the fireplace to be turned on and the manager accommodated. We enjoyed a bottle of Sauvignon blanc from Chile and started with lamb meatballs and a 2 meat/ 2 cheese board. The lamb meatballs were melt in your mouth delicious and the cheese board was a star! We got prociutto, salami, Parmesan and a blue cheese. The mustardo and olives were amazing!!! I can’t explain how delicious these were!!!
For dinner I had the strip steak special. Steak was cooked to perfection and was paired with fried potatoes and a salad. I wish the sides were a little better. My fiancé had the swordfish special over mushroom risotto and the waiter suggested shaved truffles. His meal was to die for! I finished the night with banana bread pudding and it didn’t disappoint. Our waiter was attentive, honest and super sweet. He was on top of everything. I wish when he suggested the shaved truffle he also told us the upcharge. We didn’t know until we received the check that it was $18. Luckily, it made the dish life changing otherwise we would’ve said something.
We can’t wait to come to this location again. It was our second time there and it was better than the first! I can’t wait to go back!
Fresh farm to table beautifully presented. Each dish that came out was delicious and carefully prepared. The beet salad was so unique and delicious. The wine list is extensive with choices for all. I can’t wait to go back and sample the seasonally changing menu.
We saw Eno Terra while driving the back road from our hotel to downtown . What a find. Great wine, great food, great service. We were seated in a nice quiet area. My husband ordered a seafood dish, which he did NOT want to share. I had the most tender gnocchi, which was as good as any homemade in Italy.
The food is always incredible. The display, the ingredients-fantastic. The service is consistently top notch-attentive but not intrusive. The wine list is very extensive, never had a bottle I did not thoroughly enjoy. A bit pricey so that keeps me from dining here as often as I would like to, but clearly worth the cost.
We were driving from Lambertville NJ to Princeton and found Eno Terra. We stopped in for lunch and were very happy we did. Great cocktails led into a fantastic lunch with a great dessert to finish. Wonderful space, an option for eating outdoors and very nice atmosphere. All lunch items were exceptional. Recommended!
We've dined here before. Food and service always impeccable. First time we dined on a Sunday evening. Celebrated our Anniversary. We had a cheese board (Cheese & Meat), shared a salad. I had seared scallops and he had strip steak. Followed by banana bread served with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Everything was fresh and delicious. Wine specials available on Sunday Nights as well. We ordered a bottle of Veuve Cliquot for only $55 added to order. Happy Anniversary to us. We will return again.
This is a nice little Italian themed farm to table restaurant with a great chef and a great seasonal menu. The menu includes vegan and gluten free. The portions are not huge, leaving room for appetizers (the octopus is outstanding) and fresh seasonal desserts. I definitely recommend this restaurant, even for sitting at the bar and ordering cocktails, wine, and food is pleasant and the bar stools are comfortable.
Disappointed compared to a year ago. Butternut Soup had less flavor than last year and the grapes didn't taste like concord grapes. Alstroemeria pale lilac colored flowers on the table didn't pop the rather neutral dining furniture as seen in the daylight. I wondered, since it was fall, why fall flowers (e.g. mums, chinese lanterns, or bittersweet) didn't decorate the tables. It was my birthday lunch treat to myself. Last year the waiter treated me to a small free dessert which was wonderful. Gnocchi pasta was fine as was the wine.
I personally don't know where you find your outstanding staff!! JJ, Quinton, Daniel, Julio (but he moved to your sister property), Lynn....all the hostesses. Their person service makes Eno Terra truly a neighborhood gem...the food is good too next to the great drinks!
Eno Terra is definitely one of the best restaurants in Jersey not only because of their food but consistency.
Everyone from valet parking on up is polite and friendly which goes a long way these days.
Their selection of cheese is unreal so don't fill up because they also put bread with olive oil for dipping.
We decided to split a main course which they were more than happy to divide for us which was a nice touch but whatever you do leave room for the bread pudding because it's insane.
Keep up the great work
Once again Eno Terra provided a phenomenal experience for us. The OMGs and MMMMMs were plentiful before, during, and after each course!
Kudos to Chef Mark on his ability to deliver fantastic seafood dishes! The scallops were mouth watering, the brodetto was excellent and the swordfish was cooked to perfection! The arancini were also to die for!
Thanks also to our server El, who took good care of us all evening despite the Friday night rush.
Can't wait until we can come in again!
