Eno Terra is dedicated to savoring and persevering time, tradition and the human senses, Eno Terra was built upon the original timbers of the nineteenth century general store Fisk Grocery. The building is home to a 1100 square-foot restored two-story Bar and Wine cellar featuring original timbers with Mortise and Tenon joints and tree pin nails. The building is also decorated by various Kingston area artists.
Only one problem: the busboy wanted to clear the dishes before we were done. Waiter brought the bill before asking about dessert. We felt they were trying to rush us out the door and we got there almost 1/2 hour before our reservation (and we were promptly seated).
Excellent pasta and service... the chicken was a little disappointing but, the presentation was excellent.
And the wine specials on Sunday are great values,
Keep up the good work, Congratulations
First time there...the food was exceptional!! We will definitely be back.
Excellent service.....great Branzino entree. Both the salad specials were indeed very special
Excellent meal, beautiful restaurant and location - we will be back :)
We were disappointed that the restaurant did not acknowledge our reservation request above our special occasion birthday We also noted the occasion when we checked into the. Restaurant.
Beet salad great. Hanger steak main was excellent.
As always fabulous food ...
Very nice service!
We were seated upstairs- it was much more quiet. The service was impeccable.
Eno Terra is our favorite place for special occasions. The food and wine are always amazing, and the service is on par.
Eno Terra is a good place to go for a date or to meet with a friend. The food is good and well seasoned. I recommend the whole branzino. The fish was cooked properly, with a delicious crispy skin and completely deboned (a first for me). Their deserts are inventive and delicious. They are balanced and not too sweet. Their mixed drinks need to be developed a bit more, however they have a comprehensive wine list. Overall they offer a good ambience, the waiters are very thoughtful and pay attention to detail.
The food is always fantastic. I do feel that the service was better a year ago when the wait staff was more experienced. The current wait staff is very young and sometimes a bit snotty when helping you (and I am young myself). I wish they were more down to earth, like that of the restaurant.
The quality of the food was uneven. My eggplant parm was excellent. The chicken and the sides were so-so. The tuna tartar needed more spice.
Fantastic from start to finish. I went to Eno Terra as a Thank You dinner for my mother and could not have been happier. We dined outside, enjoying the beautiful gardens and the immaculate setting (which is understandably not always easy to maintain - but was!). Our server, Jesse, was fantastic - helpful and provided great suggestions when asked, genuinely interested in our experience and magically present whenever needed without hovering. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Everything was perfect.
Great food. Great service! I am coming back for sure.
Food was good, service was ok.
Still a top rated Princeton area restaurant
Best birthday party I ever had. And thanks so much for the private room. All 9 of us enjoyed it.
Great dinner, as usual! We love Eno Terra. It's reliably delicious, great service, great ambiance, great value. I only give it 4 stars because I reserve the 5 for extraordinary dining (think 8-course prix fix with wine matching...) but Eno Terra is up there in our nice restaurant rotation, along with other fine places in Princeton and New Brunswick areas. Portions are generous. We usually start with the cheese board, then either primi OR secondi, then dessert... and we're full! Great wine list.
Although a little pricey, I don't grudge a cent due to the quality of the food and the service. Eggplant parmigiano was exceptional. Our first visit but will definately return.
I have had better meals at Eno Terra. The menu was a bit different from other times I have gone there.
Every single dish we got was absolutely delicious. So much so that we went to this restaurant two nights in a row just to try more things! Over the two nights we had Peach Salad, Beet Salad, Fried Calamari, Ricotta Gnocchi, Veal & Mushroom Tagliatelle, Bucatini cacio e pepe, a special seafood medley pasta, and the Hangar Steak. ALL INCREDIBLE. If I could afford it I would eat here every night.
Always a great time with excellent food
Fantastic food and the employees make you feel so at home. Wonderful experience!!!!
Brought my daughter for her sweet 16 dinner... the service and food were amazing! The ambience is perfect ❤️
Food was wonderful very tasty and a varied menu. We did not have wine or other drinks. Appreciated the dessert for my wife birthday. Only negative was we were seated for 10 to 15 minutes without a waiter greeting us, without taking a drink order and without water for the table. That was really unexpected.
Food was outstanding. Service was lacking. Took way to long for the waiter To take our order. And quite sometime for the entrees to arrive
Another job-well-done by all! We look forward to each future visit. Even our out of town visitors rave when we bring them to share the experience.
Everything was on point! I will definitely come back with friends and family.
The food was excellent. Presentation was very nice and service was also great. Great location and ambiance. I work in the area and was looking for a place to take colleagues. All were very impressed with the diversity of choice and the overall experience
Food was very good; lots of choices! However the service was slow and it was not even that busy for a Saturday night. Disappointed that our side dishes came well after our entrees were served and it took us flagging down the waiter to get his attention for the check.
Food is some of best in Princeton area but could really use a different dessert offering. It’s always a disappointment after a tremendous meal. That said we still eat there all the time.
The food and service were good as usual in this spot that is one of our favorites. However, after sharing the dishes we ordered, we both got really ill. We enjoyed our meals but we did have one type of wine that didn’t taste right and chicken that was a tad too pink. We think it must have been one of the two that did it.
Having a choice of multiple restaurants, we selected Eno Terra again after a dim experience about a year ago; glad we did so to celebrate our daughter’s birthday! It was an all around positive experience, starting with interesting craft cocktails (I had the caprese..vodka with tomato water and syrup!) and charcuterie board. We all had soup - I had the corn tomato and yellow pepper soup with a dollop of crab meat and roasted salmon. My husband had the lobster bisque, short rib (but with the the hangar steak accompaniments) and our daughter had the eggplant prepared multiple ways. We closed out our meal with a green olive chocolate cake (yum!), coffees and port wine! Overall...a great experience!!
We are so pleased this restaurant is back!! Oscar was a wonderful server. Still missing some of the original signature dishes such as the sushi grade Tuna app but overall excellent meal. The only complaint about the dining room was that it was a little bright, which may have attributed to the loudness of the table next to us. We will be back soon!!
Always a great meal
We had a mixed experience. Food was really good. Waiter was fine. However when he asked if we wanted assistance with the wine list and we said no thanks, he still questioned our choice of wine. Also, there was a gentleman who we were told was a friend of the owner and the “Maitre d’”. While we was well intentioned we found him to be intrusive and overbearing. However we enjoyed our dinner and will return.
Food is really outstanding, service is very attentive to the minor detail leaving the guest alone at the same time. Our favorite restaurant in the whole Princeton area.
Service was very cordial, but a little slow starting, but good after that.
