Eno Terra is dedicated to savoring and persevering time, tradition and the human senses, Eno Terra was built upon the original timbers of the nineteenth century general store Fisk Grocery. The building is home to a 1100 square-foot restored two-story Bar and Wine cellar featuring original timbers with Mortise and Tenon joints and tree pin nails. The ingredients probably started out as being of good quality, but their handling was in general careless. The result -- tasteless, at best. The arancini were exhausted by the time they were served with the steak. The streak of pesto on the plate had literally turned from standing around too long. The vegetables comprising the "sauce" for the (well-made, I must say) tagliatelle were also exhausted and when combined with the strong flavor of the mushrooms produced a very strange taste. I found the dish to be inedible. This is pasta, we're talking How can that be? I can't believe that any restaurant purporting to be top tier would allow such dishes to be set in front of their customers.
Started with the marinated castlevetrano olives, 2 filet mignon with mashed potatoes, mushrooms and vegetable, and 2 branzino with sweet potato and vegetable. Food was cooked perfectly. Vegetable didn’t really compliment the meal. Finished with a crumble and a sorbet. The chestnut was delicious.
We love dining at Zeno Terra! First time doing lunch and menu was diverse enough with options for everyone. Food was amazing and fresh and well prepared as usual. Service by Cindy was perfect since we had a birthday boy in our midst and she made him feel special. Cannot say enough about this restaurant.
Amazing food and service. One of the best meals I’ve ever had.
This is our favorite restaurant in the Princeton area. It did not disappoint on Valentine’s weekend with its selected menu.
Wonderful experience at the bar with tony!
The food was amazing and the service was great. The Wine suggestions were a 10/10
First time here on a fantastic Valentine's day date. The service was wonderful and the wine list was exceptional. The surroundings bring you back to earth and pairs well obvious fresh ingredients.
Wish I had discovered sooner, but will be back on a non holiday like atmosphere. But it's Valentine's day so it was expected.
Kudos,.. and I think the first date went well! 😊 Thanks in part to the Opus 👍
I was really looking forward to dining here based on past experiences and made this reservation 3 weeks proir. We were crammed into a table that was pressed up against a window on a very cold night. There was a strong draft so I wore my coat throughout dinner. The shame of it was there were other tables open. The 1st course was a salad. The risotto was simply undercooked, filet was fine but the accompanying fried potatoe balls where not burnt but cold. Overall not the experience, ambiance or quality I expected. There are far too many good restaurants in the area for me to return here again.
Our waiter was terrible
We decided to try this place out for Valentine’s Day. They had a special 4 course tasting meal and a choice to do it with wine pairings. We ordered our meal and had the wine pairings. The food and wine were both good. I had ordered the Oyster, Lobster and Shrimp risotto, and short ribs. My boyfriend got the Lamb meatballs, tortellini, and fillet mignon. We enjoyed every course but I especially liked the fillet mignon even though I didn’t order it myself. We came out of the restaurant very happy and would definitely come back again!
Great Valentines Pre Fixe.
Have had better food and service in prior years, this was noticeable worse than thir
We celebrated our Valentine and we loved our waiter, Pedro, and every meal from the Prix Fixe menu was fantastic but we were disappointed with the girls at front specially one of them was really unwelcoming and unpleasant she asked for coats to every one that arrived at the same time and not to us and at the time of getting our table she refused to seat us. Very disappointing! Don’t comeback.
Always a pleasure to dine here. The greeting, food, and service flows well. The staff is on top of things and the wine (red especially) is the best.
Eno Terra offers a very pleasant dining experience, even on a day as busy as Valentine's Day. The prix fix menu was most attractive, and we selected beet salad as appetizers followed by filet mignon and a Bronzino filet. The salad was delicious and the entrees prepared to our specifications. The desserts were tasty, though as one of us is gluten-free, the choices were limited. Also, there is no gluten free bread offering which is a disappointing in a high-end restaurant. But the ambience is pleasant and the service attentive and reasonably prompt.
Consistently good. Farm-to-table menu. Attentive service. Never been disappointed.
Delicious authentic Italian food. Fresh seafood. Their cacio e pepe is to die for!!! Also my husband said his pork chop was amazing. The ricotta filled gnocchi was light and full of flavor. I love love 💕 Eno Terra. Don’t forget the fig tiramisù.
Been to this restaurant many times and they have never missed. Great service, delicious food, and good wine list to choose from. Franco gets 5 Stars too!!!
Birthday dinner... absolutely perfection as always
Always good food
Nice atmosphere. Very friendly greeting on arrival. Noise level just right and good food. Quite expensive but enjoyable. We will come back.
When our food arrived, we had to ask for bread which had not been supplied before the meal. By then tiem it was brought to the table, it was too late.
great food and atmosphere, highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.
This is a neighborhood gem. Fresh ingredients, well prepared. Nice atmosphere. Good service. A bit of a European flavor.
Eno Terra is one of my most favorite restaurants in the Greater Princeton area. The food is amazing, the wine selection is just right and the atmosphere is fantastic. The service is also top notch. The place is a bit pricey, but very worth it.
Seem to have forgotten about our dinner. But manager took care of it and offered free glass of wine so that was good service.
Great food & wine list. I love the farm to table sustainability! A truly great experience! Our server Dave was excellent!!
I went to lunch at Eno Terra on January 23. The food was great from the Cranberry vodka cocktail, the braised veal with tagliatelle to the chocolate olive cake. Our server was knowledgeable and very funny.
Farm to table cuisine. Servers are knowledgeable and eager to recommend choices.
really nice date night. the server was pleasant and accommodating, very professional. the food was delicious, we split a taglietelle as a mid course and it was fantastic. my short rib main course was everything i wanted it to be, definitely didnt need the knife that was placed with the dish. we finished dinner with the kalamata olive and chocolate cake, wonderful option for anyone who likes interesting and adventurous dishes
This is a great spot for a high end dinner. Really creative food and nice ambiance.
Food and service always great. You need to make several visits so you can try everything. This is our go too restaurant for great Italian food.
Food was very tasty! Wine list was extensive! We had really great service all throughout our meal! Josh was amazing with helping us pick wine for our meal! Great first time experience.
The pasta appeared undercooked and the service was slow. But a nice place to go for lunch
One of our party had multiple food allergies. The kitchen was most accommodating! And she said it was still delicious!
I love going to Eno Terra. I try to take advantage of the opportunity to dine there whenever I vist my clients that are nearby. The service is unmatched, the attention to detail and overall attention they bring to your table is really appreciated. The food of course is delicious and the menu is unique and not what you would find at a typical Italian restaurant. They are very creative and I always look forward to their specials board. They pride themselves on their wine selection and have an on staff wine expert to help pair you.
Inexperienced hostess took a while trying to figure out where to seat us in an empty restaurant. It was oddly long to stand there. After sitting we were constantly hounded by an older employee eves dropping and interrupting our conversation. Then the waiter came and explained the specials heavily recommending one on particular which I ordered. Described as short beef ravioli. It showed up nearly raw and it was 5 tiny regular ravioli with small amounts of shredded beef on top- $31 was a total ripoff. It was so bad I had to send it back to be cooked. In mean time I drank a poorly made Manhattan ($15) shared my wife’s spinach tagliatelle which was very mushroom heavy but not bad and not bad portion. While waiting the older waiter told me multiple times they had numerous complaints all week about this special which was infuriating to hear given it’s clearly the push on the special. I ate alone after my replacement finally showed up without apologizing or offer to discount or comp. terrible.
Service people very pleasant and accommodating. I requested a small birthday cake and they did a great job with it. Thanks to everyone !
very nice atmosphere...great food and drinks...very attentive staff...can't go wrong
