Eno Terra is dedicated to savoring and persevering time, tradition and the human senses, Eno Terra was built upon the original timbers of the nineteenth century general store Fisk Grocery. The building is home to a 1100 square-foot restored two-story Bar and Wine cellar featuring original timbers with Mortise and Tenon joints and tree pin nails. The building is also decorated by various Kingston area artists.

This was our second time at Eno Terra and it was one of the worst meals we’ve ever had. Our appetizers lacked any flavor whatsoever and we then waited almost 40 minutes to get our entrees, which were inedible. My chicken was burnt and dry, my husband’s fish was over cooked and was not the whole fish as was described in the menu. My children’s meals were atrocious. Was a horrible meal and we will never return.
A bit of difficulty with a few on our entrees on this particular night. One "special" fish entee came out cold and with lots of bones in the filet. However, upon complaint, the manager whisked it away and brought a nice replacement! The other fish entree was not as tasty as expected. The clam and pasta was just chopped clams, not the in the shell, which was odd as the wait staff brought a bowl for shells??? Made me wonder if perhaps they ran out of the real thing and substituted. The desserts and appetizers were good and the restaurant is beautiful. Very busy, so perhaps they were overwhelmed. Will perhaps give another try on a quieter night.
wonderful food and ambiance
excellent, attentive service
Food was delicious. James our waiter was the best. Just wished we were seated downstairs. But was a great night. We will be back.
Food was excellent, service lacked when restaurant got full but I would still go again
We enjoyed our dinner and the ambiance!
Very good food, and outstanding service. My only criticism is strange. Two plates and two pieces of silverware were dirty. Not just a little, but with food smears on them. Could just be an isolated incident, but the restaurant may want to get their dishwasher checked.
Eno Terra is a favorite ranking high among so many wonderful restaurants in the Princeton area.
We were a party of 6 on a Saturday night and while service was a little slow, it is understandable as the restaurant was packed and of course everything is cooked to order. And they carefully accommodated a friend who is highly allergic to olive oil. The octopus is always amazing, Salads are all delicious. I’m still swooning over the iberico ham... and while eggplant parm may sound pedestrian, it is a divine tower of eggplant lightly layered with cheese and their own delicious intense tomato sauce. Roast chicken is a neighborhood fave as is simple salmon that is so fresh and delicious that it needs little embellishment.
In short, Eno Terra is a treat. Excellent wine list.
The "lunch special" was stellar, the service was excellent, the outdoor seasonal foliage was beautiful, and the inside was welcoming and cheerful. The "special" was also at a very good price, so we enjoyed our own special lunch in every way. An extra pleasure: the "glass of wine" that came with the "special" was Santa Margherita pinot grigio, which was an unexpected treat (one doesn't often receive such quality with a "special"!). Highly recommended!
It was a night well spent. I would definitely go back and refer others, as well. Thank you!
Food is very good. However, a bit on the skimpy side with portions. Wines by the glass are very pricey for the most part even above what most good restaurants charge. 15-17 a glass. However good quality.
From the moment we sat down the pressure from the staff to get us to order. We ordered a drink and wanted to wait a while to order. The waitress came back 2 times so we ordered out starters again she asked for our mains and we told her we had not decided yet. Finally after the 3rd time we ordered. The food itself was good even if overpriced. The final insult was a male waiter came over and took our wine glasses away however we wanted to order two more drinks. They looked amazed that we might want another drink. They bought them over but not in their typical style of a small flask and pour at your table. We even had in our booking that it was my wife's birthday but no acknowledgement what so ever. We like the Terra group but at over $200 for the night it was disappointing to say the least
Food, service and ambiance were excellent. I did request, in my open table reservation, for a certain table location and was not seated there. Seems they only read the request when I mentioned it when they were about to seat us.
We just weren’t blown away as we expected to be. Food was good but not amazing. Several pieces of my steak were tough.. everything was Very expensive . Wine list was good but very expensive. Cabernets started over $200 a bottle Most were $400-$1000
There was just something missing. We really wanted to love it but it wasn’t a place that we will return to.
We love Enoterra. This atmosphere is inviting, warm, and unique. From the bread and cheese display, to the wine racking, to the simple but elegant dining tables, it is all great. The fresh food is also a huge plus. This recent visit we had a mix of salads, pasta, and fish. My only complaint is that the menu, being somewhat limited, seemed to lack the variety and robust flavors we remembered from earlier visits.
The pompano special was good but the veal pasta was very bland. Only two beef entries were available and nothing small like a filet mignon. Also, while unique (eg: Shishito peppers, potatoes) the appetizers and bar food are not as flavorful and appetizing as they could be. Crab cakes, tempura shrimp, would be welcome options.
Been coming here for many years but sitting upstairs tonight I really felt that it was a great experience and we need to come more often
I really enjoy dining at Eno Terra; there's always something special about the food, drink, and service.
Our dnner for 4 was lovely—food was terrific as was service and it was quiet enough for good conversation
Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. Food was fresh & very tasty.
Well presented, tasty food with right experience and good wine list is how I sum up Eno. This surely is one of the better Italian fine dine places around Princeton.
It is one of my favorite restaurants in the Princeton area. It is a big pricey but the food and service are very good.
We had a very knowledgeable and attentive waiter who introduced to vin santo
This was our first time and we came to celebrate our son's birthday. Both the food and service were excellent. Would highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.
Exceptional food and service make this a destination restaurant not to be missed. The lamb meatballs were light and airy. The mussels in a delicious sauce. We needed additional bread for that. The Octopus was cooked to perfection. The gnocchi in a pesto sauce was delicious. All the fish dishes Salmon-Swordfish and Branzino were done with out flaw. A great evening with a great waiter from Italy!!!
Excellent. The swordfish entree and the zucchini blossom app were both exceptional. The Gnocchi was light and delicious and clearly hand made (big recommendation here) Kudos to the chef. The manager recommended a new wine on the menu, a gigondas by Espiers. This too was the perfect match. We will be back for another lovely foodie evening of dining.
Always a wonderful experience
Been a few years I had been there. Drove from NYC to eat there and we’ll worth the trip. Just overall a great dining experience.
Restaurant is a pleasure to attend given its ambience and great food. Always go here for special occasions which we did bringing family from Ireland. Love the farm-to-table freshness and unique cuisine specials.
Not only was the lunch delicious (stuffed zucchini blossoms) The service was helpful and attentive too.
Food and service was excellent. Love the in season menu options. Everything from apps to dessert was I incredible. I would highly recommend Eno Terra.
Enoterra is one our favorite restaurants. Food and drinks are always on point. Staff is very welcoming and friendly Good for a couples night out, a bite sitting at the bar or dinner with a few friends
Food was decent but prices were too high for the small portion you recieve. I guess they're going for European portions which us Americans aren't used to...food could use some more seasoning and flavor. Ambiance is nice and wine selection is vast. Not my top choice only due to price being too high for lackluster cuisine.
This is truly a neighborhood restaurant - off the Princeton beaten path, quiet, ease of parking in Kingston. The best part of Eno besides their food and wine and drink specials as well as their happy hour, is the staff. Friendly welcoming - Lynn, Oscar, Jamie (sp?) and JJ. Family feel
great sunday menu and amazing discount on wines from the cellar.
Had the pork porterhouse, best pork chop I've ever had in my life, I'll definitely be back to try the other choices.
Went for our 45th anniversary. Took our own wine. $20 corkage was fine. Local Cheeses are excellent. Shared grilled octopus as appetizer - also excellent. Shared homemade beet ravioli (pasta special) which was outstanding. We each had steak to pair with our wine. Steak was average (fatty and chewy). Service was good but not notable.
Food was awesome. Service was not. Great menu. Everything was delicious. Really slow service with little attention. Wish I had tipped less. Not great wine list.
It was a good dinner, well presented. It would be a go-to restaurant except it is over priced and not really quiet enough to have a conversation.
Excellent , slightly rushed but server responded when I asked to slow it down.
Food was superb, except deserts which were a little disappointing .
It is one my favorite places in the area.
Eno Terra never disappoints! Quality service, excellent food, great ambience!
