ENO AZUR will open on Wednesday, August 26th featuring Chef Giannini’s favorite recipes from his native “Cote d’Azur”. Based out of ENO, but with extensive outdoor dining available on the terraces, ENO AZUR will offer luscious cocktails to be sipped “al Fresco” as well as a full dinner menu inspired by the “joie de vivre” and glamour of the French Riviera.
The menu will highlight French Riviera specialties with the accent on vegetarian and seafood delicacies. The food was worse than unremarkable. As foodies and cooks we were very disappointed- especially as it was our first night out to dinner in a restaurant since lockdown and IT WAS The Four Seasons.
The progression of the menu did not make sense and the waiter did not seem to know how the dishes were prepared. They also could not advise on the portion size of each dish.
My husband had a $40 main course of lamb stew that came in a small cast iron dish with 4 tiny chops and 4/3 slices of confit swimming in oil and overwhelmed by an odd orange flavor.
It was a meal you want to forgot you ever had.
Was fantastic! The food was perfect and the service could not have been better.
The food was delicious but for the price you’re really paying for the experience, which you don’t get here. It’s a courtyard at the four seasons but there’s nothing special about it. If you’re going to spend over $100 per person, go somewhere else.
It wasn’t the best experience! The food we did get was good.
Excellent food options
Timeliness of the meals was very French (late but acceptable)
Temperature of the meals not consistent (some plates were cooler than expected), but we were a large group and we ordered different entree.
This is Our second visit to the restaurant back to back
Thoroughly enjoyed the pop up concept and I hope you keep it.
The dishes were tasty but the wine list was very « minimalist » and the service was not what you would expect from such a venue—limited knowledge of the dishes by the staff, over cooked agneau, and no special gesture for my wife and I celebrating our anniversary.
Un rapport qualité-prix pas génial... dommage.
Nice outdoor cafe.
The experience was out of this world. The wait staff was attentive, friendly and were knowledgable about the menu. Th food was fresh, plentiful and was artfully arranged.
Seated 45 minutes late. Food came out cold. Never refilled drinks. Worst service I’ve experienced in months. Subpar food at above average prices. We witnessed at least 4 other parties at different tables complaining about either their food or their service. Skip this place, or you’ll seriously be disappointed.
Wonderful experience. Drinks were delicious. Food was tasty. We are outdoors and there was lots of room.
Food was excellent! We had to request to move to another table because the one we got was not appropriate for dining. That was all good. Only wished they had a candle or something for our dessert at the end knowing we were celebrating a birthday.
Thank you so much for joining us and your positive review. Please accept our sincerest apologies for missing the birthday candle on your dessert. We hope you had a wonderful birthday and look forward to having you dine with us again. Sincerely, The ENO Azur Team
While I do miss the wine list from Eno, the food was quite spectacular. The expanded patio space was also a perfect way to enjoy this nice weather.
Thank you so much for joining us and your positive review. Hopefully as we grow, we will be able to expand the wine list! We look forward to having you dine with us again. Sincerely, The ENO Azur Team
They are doing a great job during the pandemic. Tables are at least 6ft apart. Temperature checks and hand sanitizer at the door. You are given a metal pin to wear showing your temperature has been confirmed and told to keep your mask on while ordering etc until your drinks come. Food was outstanding. Don’t skip dessert, the presentation is not to be missed! Tip 25% if you can. Waitstaff is attentive and so kind.
If choosing to dine outside, you will be seating in the courtyard to the side of the parking entrance. Street noise from M street can be quite loud. The dishes were quite bland.
This French Riviera pop up is exactly what we needed! For starters, we felt very safe there (temperature checks upon check in, plenty of distance between tables and all servers/staff masked and gloved). The food was so fresh, delicious and beautiful, we could have returned every night! There were exquisite vegetarian offerings (the roasted peppers and baby artichoke salad were standouts), the veal stuffed vegetables were divine and the lobster pasta was magical. We were transported right back to the Cote d'Azur seaside. This place is a gem.
An incredible dinner with incredible service. Order the beef tartare!
Hidden gem of a patio, amazing food and cocktails. Excellent Covid protocols made us feel extremely safe. Outstanding service, great details and ambiance. Best eggplant dish I’ve had and to die for focaccia. Will be back weekly :)
