    As someone who’s gone to tea in other places, I was disappointed. The afternoon tea was just ok: the food was also mediocre. The exception was the giant scones, which were very delicious. The tea was hot and good. It was a bit loud.

    Simply perfection. The food, ambience, and service was extraordinary as usual. Santa and the carolers added to the festivities! Prices are very fair. See you next year!

    It was a beautiful facility. I took my friends daughter who’s 8 and she loved it. I recommend getting the child’s tea platter for younger children she wasn’t a fan of the food. I was not either I’ve had much better tea sandwiches and scones at other teas but the service and ambiance was well worth it!

    It's a lovely place to eat. The food is good and attractively presented. The broccoli in the vegetarian quiche was not as good as usual. And the scones a little drier. But overall it is yummy. I love the newer decor and the items to purchase, especially the tea. Our granddaughter always wants to come when she comes to town and she loves to choose from the hat collection, hats for us to wear! Even grandpa.

    Wonderful can’t beat it ambience. It’s decorated beautifully. The food is amazing and my daughter is a new gluten free and they easily accommodated and she said it tasted great. Sweet servers and Santa and singers made it even better. We drive almost an hour to go here and will continue to do so.

    Made the reservation months prior, when we arrived 4 of us were sat outside at a table that was too small. Half the table was up against the wall so honestly only 3 people could fit and tightly at that. It’s disappointing to make a reservation so far in advance and be sat at the worst table for 4 in the place .

    One of my favorite places to go! We’ve made it a tradition to celebrate birthdays here. Absolutely beautiful, wonderful food and outstanding service. Already looking forward to my next visit.

    WOW!!! What an absolutely charming tea room that makes me feel as if I were transported to England. Stunning decor, an amazing selection of hats to wear, delicious food snd very friendly staff.     Amazing! A classic and super fun English Tea Experience. A bit pricey but totally worth it. The gluten free Formal Tea tower is amazing. Gluten free bread, scones, and desserts. Everything about the place is picture-perfect. We will be back!

    The ambiance is very lovely, the staff was very attentive, food delicious and wonderful assortment of teas. It was a very busy day, the restaurant was packed so the noise level was high. Definitely will return tho.

    I feel like the quality of the food has declined. My child had the nursery tea and the cake pop was inedible-the peanut butter and jelly was weak. My mom did the special quiche and it was a little sloppy. Overall-it was an expensive “cute” thing to do but my kids were still hungry afterwards.

    The scones would have made Mary Berry proud! Not dry but with a nice crumble and just a touch of sweet. The tea sandwiches were devoured and little deserts so good. The special was a cookie Trifle and I could have eaten 10 of them they were that tasty. The ambiance is very welcoming and the tea selection is huge. I recommend this spot for special occasions, including the occasion of you just need a good cup of tea and a scone.

    Food okay - tea sandwiches average, scones dry. The standout was the salmon quiche - very good. Tables very close together even on patio - feels squished. It feels like you are a number here. It is fine, but disappoints if wanting a special experience.

    My favorite tea place in Arizona by far! I’ve been here many times but came with a group of 5 friends, two of whom haven’t been here before. Everything was lovely as usual. We ordered the 2 Formal teas which we split between four of us. My other friend has dietary restrictions which they always accommodate. I could have eaten more sandwiches so I should have added an order of that as well. The Paris tea is my favorite so always order that. Those in the group that didn’t wear their own hats were happy to choose from the hats available there. (One of my friends was a little hesitant to wear the “shared” hats but I told her they probably clean them regularly?? My only critique would be that the server could have been a tad friendlier and seemed to rush us during the tea selection. We’ll definitely return again and would like to try the Christmas Nutracker theme tea or try a Friday evening with the live music.

    I take my wife there every year for her birthday..she really digs it, I put up with all the pink roses and all the girly stuff as the food is outstanding...try the keesh...its actually really fun, I just don't tell my bro friends!!

    I brought my mother and six other ladies here to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Made reservations ahead of time because we were a large group (8). Our table was ready, weather was delightful, tea and tiered food trays were fun. My mom and guests really enjoyed it. The girls had fun trying on wearing all the cute hats.

    I always enjoy an afternoon tea with friends at English Rose. The best traditional scones in the valley (not the fru-fru Starbucks type). A great selection of teas and friendly service. Keep up the good work!

    I was surprised our check for 4 people was almost 200$. felt that was a little steep for chicken salad. Was really shocked to find the desserts were 18$ each. Did not see any prices before we ordered. The food was very good and I would tell my friends about the prices but let them know it is a special tea room!!

    We sat outside. It was a beautiful day, staff was very attentive, food was delicious. Very pretty decor. My friend's first time and she enjoyed the experience. I have been here many times and usually order the high tea. A little bit of everything. Can't wait to visit again.

    This charming restaurant is a reliable "go to" for my out of town female guests. Food is delicious and reasonable, service prompt and a feast for the eyes. of course men are welcome but guests are mostly women and girls. You wont be disappointed!

    I love tea houses and couldn't wait to try this one. It did not disappoint! The decor is amazing and the service was excellent. Very cute retail area and decorated for the Christmas Holiday with a peppermint theme. We ordered the afternoon tea, quiche of the day and tomato bisque soup. All the food was very tasty, however the sandwiches could've had a bit more filling. Over all it was plenty of food and at a reasonable cost. Highly recommend!

    This is the perfect place for a special occasion especially with friends, daughters, granddaughters or nieces. The ambience is everything you'd want it to be. The scones...oh my, sooooo good. My granddaughter and I went and it will be an amazing memory for us.

    This place is all about atmosphere. The setting is lovely and relaxing, and the service cannot be beat. However, the tea is average at best. The "scones" were the most disappointing because they are not scones at all. The "scones" are tasteless and have the texture of a dry, crumbly, drop biscuit. I would not recommend the "scones."
