   I have gone here three times with my adult kids for a pre-mother’s day afternoon tea. Until this time, we were always impressed. It’s a lovely little tea room with a lot of English charm, and the wait staff is always very nice. This time, however, we were told we’d be charged extra for another pot of tea and the scones were dry and crunchy. I did not feel the value was there and will likely choose another tea room next time.

   English tea does not get any more magical than this! Everything is covered in beautiful flowers, there are hats to wear and a nice selection of tea. Definitely a destination tea room.

   Fun place to go to for my friend’s birthday. They had a bin with fun hats to wear to make the tea time festive. Food was excellent….so was the tea! Scones were awesome too!!

   We’ve celebrated many a special occasion at the tea room and it’s always been great. This time, however, I was a little disappointed. The reservation was made several months ago so that we could specifically dine indoors and at the time that we wanted. We were celebrating two birthdays: my adult daughter and my adult granddaughter. When we arrived, we were told that our designated table was still being used and that it would be available shortly. Since those diners stayed longer than anticipated, we were instead seated at a table for two with an extra chair. It was a small table and a little tight for three. While the food was delicious as always, at no time during the meal did the server acknowledge that we were celebrating two birthdays, nor did the host acknowledge that when we arrived. Not once during the entire meal, did anyone acknowledge that we were celebrating a special occasion, in this case two special occasions, so that was a bit disappointing. The food itself was delicious as always, and we had a wonderful time, despite being at a table that was obviously for two when we were three people. Of course there were leftovers, and so as we were packing up the leftovers I asked for an additional side of jam for the scone we were bringing home. I was surprised to see that we were charged four dollars for that tiny container of jam. I thought that was a bit tacky for what was otherwise a pleasant experience. This is the first time we’ve had any complaints and have always enjoyed our time at the tea room, so we look forward to returning for another occasion at a time in the future.

   Amazing gluten free menu- the best we’ve found in the area!! Staff are very friendly and attentive. Love it!!

   First time there and we will be back. Service was awesome. I didn’t know I liked tea but their tea was excellent. Very fun place.

   It was a very nice experience but for the price I would have like something more than finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, pastries, teas and fruit (which was delicious). Otherwise, we enjoyed ourselves and it was something to experience at least once. We went for my daughters birthday and she was in heaven and she would like to return (she turned 5). They were very accommodating to the children with nice kid friendly options. Staff was very attentive to us and kept up with the other guest dining as well. Service hospitality was great and the other diners were friendly and gave my daughter birthday wishes. I would recommend.

    The Tea Room was so much fun! First time there and will definitely return with other friends! The food was just the right portion. We ordered the special and it was delicious! The scones were amazing! So many choices on tea! Highly recommend!
