   We were very excited to try this restaurant based on the delicious looking menu. Unfortunately, when our party of 6 arrived at our confirmed reservation time, the restaurant was completely closed. It was a Monday and it was rain in so we were not very happy. The restaurant and Open Table need to coordinate better on the restaurant schedule and/or commuicate better with their potential customers.

   My family had a terrible experience at Enginar kitchen. We went for Mother's Day Brunch. There was essentially one person who was hosting, bartending, and serving, and we waited over 25 minutes just to get water or coffee. Our appetizers (hummus and flatbread...) were subpar and took an hour. When our meal came 20 minutes later, the egg/potato dishes were cold and flavorless. Every meal came spaced 10 minutes apart, so by the time my dad got his food we were done. The portions were mostly too small, especially the chicken shish. Overall, very unpleasant. Service was the worst I've seen and the food was very lame. Will never return.

   Fourth time back and yet again another excellent meal with friendly service. We will continue to recommend this great restaurant to friends and family!

   It was my first time to try mediterranean-turkish foods. I ordered grilled soujuk. It came with humus which was really delicious. Meantime I didnt know which wine can be good combination with the food and our server suggested to me one of their selected white wine ps: they have very good discount for all wines. Then I continued with salmon omg! It was really delicous it came with kinoa and celery puree. Overall ambiance was very cozy and the food was amazing! I will definitely come back with my friends

   We were party of 6 on a wednesday night. We had such a good time. Food was great, service as well. This place is a gem! We also got a great discount on wines. You cannot beat it.

   Really excellent food. The place is relatively new, so it was quiet on a Tuesday night. The food was really tasty, especially the Spanish octopus. Look forward to going back!

   Local mediterranean restaurant. Stiff UES competition. Entrees are small and in our opinion over priced. Best value are the appetizers. Lowest priced Chardonnay bottle is $62. Service sloppy. Restaurant was empty on a sunday evening from 530 to 730 when we left. This First ave site has changed multiple times in recent history. This attempt cannot last long given the numerous better values within walking distance

    Mussles are incredibly delious . Engineer burger was finger licking good .
