Known dishes with an incredible twists ! The avocado toast for instance was a recreated avocado with fake skin out. Or the caesar salad - just wait til you try it! We tried the restaurant for both brunch and dinner and both did not disappoint. The service is perfect as well and god knows we're picky !

I went for the second time in two weeks and this time I invited my staff for the holidays. The food is outstanding as it was the first time. Affordable wine list. The team is wonderful. The dining room is well design. The place to go for dinner (date or group). Worth the drive. I am already planning to come back soon.

Excellent restaurant ! Really glad we could discover Jean Imbert’s cuisine in New York. The food was really inventive and excellent , and they offer multiple choices of great wines. The service from all the staff was absolutely perfect and super nice. All the managers were welcoming and careful to all details. A real pleasure. We had a lovely diner and I’ll come back for sure. Do not hesitate a second and go enjoy Jean Imbert’s excellent French cuisine !

We had a profesionnal dinner at Encore on 5th December - the atmostphere was perfect. Coming from France and Belgium, we were very happy to find a French environment, with very good wines and some French "classic" main courses (I loved the GrandMa Blanquette). We all ENJOYED our dishes, from the starters to the desserts!
Merci beaucoup à toute l'équipe, c'était un diner parfait !

We have dined at Encore twice since it opened with groups of four and nine. We tried many items from the menu and shared them around family style to get a really good sense of the place. Just about everything was interesting, bordering on unique and very tasty. The staff is extremely friendly and working hard to do a great job. Still a bit to go on working out the start up service efficiency, but this will likely soon be at 5 stars as well. This restaurant is a great addition to the Meat Packing District.

Very nice place and the food is good and seasonal as far as the vegetables are concerned.
The only down side is that there is no bread unless you pay for it. For a French restaurant it is a big no-no! I certainly don't want to pay an extra to absorb the juice in the plate. Lick the plate or pay for the bread! I'll easily go for the licking but I would advice not to do it in a place like this one:)))
The service is very good though!

The best kept secret restaurant in town. Great tasty and creative food. The staff is wonderful. The managers are looking at all details to make your experience great. It just opened 2 weeks ago! Today you can get a table but in few weeks I am sure there will be a waiting list. Hurry up

We went there for my husband’s birthday and had an amazing experience thanks to a very nice service (they even thought of adding candles to the dessert without me asking). The waiter and sommelier give really good advices. The place is well decorated, not too noisy (which is rare!). The food is really good, be careful the portions are quite large! I really recommend

Second time already in a week, discovering the menu.
Corn Corn Corn is definitely a must have and more than a side!
Wagyu beef with cilantro was best main to date.
Soufflé was great but preferred the hazelnut one vs lemon :)
And Sphere (other dessert, must have at Encore) was perfect

We loved our diner at Encore! We already loved Jean Imbert’s first restaurant in Paris, L’Acajou, so we were eager to try his new restaurant. The food was outstanding, we had the rigatonis and the seabass, both delicious. We also had the famous “corn, corn, corn”, a must, I highly recommend, as well as the “choux, choux, choux” and the tempura leaves. The waiters were really attentive and the atmosphere was intimate with a great vibe, not too loud. I would recommend for dates a well as for group. I can’t wait to try the brunch before it gets too crowded.

We won't forget our time at Encore ! Service was friendly, we were well received, dishes were delicious and Jean Imbert even took some time for us (showing us the kitchen and taking pictures with us). We only have one remark about the subdued light. It's quite a shame to have dishes so well prepared and not to able to see them. Otherwise we highly recommand this place !!
