This has become one of our favourite spots for brunch and we make it an annual tradition on Mothers Day to take our mother to Encore,

We took some special friends to Encore, Inn on the Lake. It was quiet and friendly and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food and the dining experience. We had requested a "quiet window table". Upon our arrival, we were seated at the best table, by the window, in the restaurant. I was impressed. My friends will go again and so will my wife and I.

Myself and my sisters had a wonderdul Christmas lunch together and it was nice to go to a place where the service is good, the food is not pub style and where you can sit and have a conversation. We were well treated and not rushed.

Upon arriving at Encore - Inn on the Lake we were greeeted promptly and seated at a table by the window. Our server gave us a few minutes with the wine menu and entree menu. We started with a basic bruschetta which didn't include olives (not a fan) and it was delicious and the perfect starter to our meals. My husband decided on the Pasta Marina which he enjoyed very much. He stated it had plenty of seafood. I had the Pork Tenderloin which was served with an apple and raisin chutney, potatoes and asparagus. For desert my husband had their signature coconut cream pie which he said was delicious. I had the Cinnamon crusted ice cream martini which was also delicious.

Food was very good, however it was the second time visiting this restaurant. On my first visit my dinner was so good it would be considered world class. On this visit the same meal was not prepared correctly. Will defiantly return and give this dish another chance!

The evening we had dinner at Inn on the lake, was disappointing. The restaurant was crowded and noisy, the food was mediocre at best and the waitress although very friendly mixed up our orders, one of my guests' steak was very over cooked.
