A night filled with exquisite wines, decadent food, outstanding service and delightful live jazz music! The evening will begin with a leisurely Hor D’oeuvre reception in our newly renovated, stylish, lower level lounge area. Mix and mingle with Mr. Wagner, the master Wine Maker behind the ever popular Belle Gloss Pinot Noir and Quilt Cabernet. A four course dinner paired with Copper Cain Wines will follow in our upper level main dining room. The full menu can be viewed @ www.encorerestaurantct.com This is a private event. The changed decor is very beautiful, but it is a shame that the outdoor rooftop dining has been eliminated. Across-the-board, the food was very good. The veal with mushrooms was really excellent as were these zucchini flowers and in general the pasta. A small quibble was that the pasta, Sophia Laron Sauce was too salty. Also, the heirloom tomatoes, while very tasteful had clearly been refrigerated, and so these Exxon tomatoes lost some of their taste. Even at the risk of losing some tomatoes, refrigerating tomatoes took away quite a bit from otherwise excellent dish. Service is first rate.

The food remains outstanding, and the ambiance has gotten classier but lost some authenticity. The piano player is a great addition. Would've been better if they left just one screen playing the movie on a loop.

I LOVED the old Good Fellas. You could ALWAYS count on exceptional. Last night the service level was just not the same. The waiter was very professional but either had too many tables or not enough support. The prices seem much higher than before. The new décor is pretty but the chairs are not very comfortable at all. The food is still exceptional!

It was our first time back since the reopening as Encore by Goodfellas. It was overall a wonderful evening. The ambiance, food and music made it a special evening. The only downside was our waiter who seemed rushed and spent no time to explain things and forgot to bring the bread, we had to ask for the check and then ask for him to process the payment. If You want to charge 5 star prices the entire experience needs to be 5 star. We will go back again.

We went for ladies night. Great ladies night menu and the service was fantastic. Lennie was our waiter and he was one of the best waiters we have ever had. The food was delicious. Highly recommend

We started with 3 apps the fried calamari,clams casino,and the stacked eggplant I was surprised that we only got rings for the calamari Entrees consisted of salmon, duck,veal medallions and sea bass All as expected We also indulged on 3 desserts all very forgettable All in all a pleasant evening

Waited 20 min to be seated with a 730 reservation. After finally being seated waited another 15 mins to be waited on. The waiter was clearly overworked and flustered. We expressed our displeasure to the manager on duty who appeared to be a young kid. He listened and informed us they did not have enough bus staff but offered no solution. Just mentioned “hopefully the food is good.”Normally a good manager will fill in in positions that need attention. The manager also did not come back over to check and see if we were pleased with the food. He made a few glances over to the table but appeared to be avoiding us. The waiter gave us a complimentary bottle of water and two glasses of Champagne for the wait. Our waiter was very nice and clearly was trying. The food was good but nothing to wait that long or pay the prices they have with that service. We weren’t even able to order our dinner until almost 830, we had difficulty even placing an appetizer meal as the waiter would rush from the table as soon as he placed something down. Thankfully the company and atmosphere was nice. The waiter did give us a complimentary bottle of water and at the end of the the he gave us both a glass of champagne. From my observations this place clearly has a management and perhaps a staffing issue.

The service was amazing! The ambiance was beautiful and we enjoyed the live music immensely. The presentation on the Wellington was exciting and fun but the crust wasn’t as flaky and light as we had expected. We tasted the mashed potatoes but not one person had a second bite. They were too dry. The Wellington was fun to try but not worth the money. All the entree’s were too overpriced. We will not be coming back or recommending this restaurant to anyone.

Outstanding experience! The remodeled venue is beautiful. The staff are friendly and courteous and our waiter, Mike, was top notch! Live music added to the ambience while the food was the star of the show. Highly recommend our new favorite.
