Very nice experience for breakfast and brunch...great, quiet place to visit with friends. I loved it!
The drinks were very good, the couches comfy, and the atmosphere lively. The only thing I would change is the "Gossip Girl" drink. It came in a copper "mule" type drink mug and no character in the show would have a drink in that sort of cup. It should have been in a martini glass. XOXO
Great place to meet for drinks. Nice views. Plenty of both indoor and outdoor spaces.
Stopped here for lunch before going to Lincoln Center for a show. The drinks and food were terrific. The service was attentive and friendly. My sons graduation is later this year at Lincoln Center and I am thinking of going here for drinks afterwards.
Great view, food better than ordinary buffet but expensive for simple fare. Fruit was fresh and tasted like fruit and our server was as good as could be. Very attentive.
Everything was really good, nice people and excellent service. Good drinks but I wish the menu could be more complete
Great place to gather with friends and family. Awesome atmosphere.
Was there for drinks with a friend on Saturday. Very nice rooftop (indoor/outdoor), not too crowded, with good service. will have to come back to try the food!
It was really noisy here and totally not what I expected. The drink I had was really tasty, but I wouldn't recommend this spot as a place to hang out and talk with friends because it's just too loud and crowded. Also, they didn't do anything for my friend's birthday even though I put it in my reservation notes. What's the point of asking if there's a special occasion if you don't do anything for it...
My 10 pm reservation for four was delayed due to the show getting out much later than the website had indicated for show times. Unfortunately it also resulted in the other couple needing to leave so my (now late) party was only two. Nevertheless the Empire Rooftop was both accommodating and courteous to the change. The wait staff was excellent and my wife and I enjoyed great drinks and very tasty food from this quaint oasis on top of the hotel. The outdoor roof area looked very inviting with great city views - however it was closed due to the time of year and outdoor temps. Would love to come back and experience this in the summertime.
The hostess put me on a table in an area of the restaurant with couples only. I was alone. When I was leaving and went to use the bathroom, I saw another area of the place full of people, much better than when I stayed... I would for sure had spent more time at the restaurant if I was in the other area.
Excellent service. Very trendy and more suitable to younger crowd, but still accommodating to older folks as long as you don’t mind the louder music and conversation. Great views of the city.
This rooftop bar has a lovely warm vibe and cozy seating areas. Great place for a drink and lite snack before a Lincoln Center performance.
Loved it! Needs more Gossip Girl things on menu but I am biased. Overall, great time and great service!
We shared 4 appetizers. The tuna and the lobster tacos were amazing. Portions are just right for a taste. We also loved the cheese board with fig jam and mushroom flatbread which are a little more substantial. Drinks were great and view is amazing. Perfect for pre opera light dinner.
Right next to Lincoln Center. Delicious food, beautiful views, wonderful service. We will definitely be back!
Great place for before or after concert or opera drinks and snacks. Food is great, views are spectacular and service is good. Haven’t tried full meal.
I went here on a date for Valentine's day and besides the view which we didnt get much of was the best part. Our server was unattentive. I asked for a bottle to be at the table before we got there and apparently that was a service they dont provide which is crazy for an "upscale place." Tater tots, calamari and mushroom flatbread were 20 bucks a piece and very average at best. We were trying to order another drink but our server kept passing us so we put on our coats and the server finally came over to give us the check. All in all the place is gorgeous but my experience was not worth the money I paid.
Service and food was fantastic. Great views! Hats off to the attentive staff! Headed back soon.
I loved dining at the Empire Rooftop. This is my second time there. The views of midtown Manhattan and Lincoln center make it an ideal spot to go for a date or general socializing. Their Cucumber martini is divine!
We went early for cocktails & nibbles before a movie... Outdoor area is lovely & cozy - caught the end of the sunset - ambiance, drinks & apps were perfect. Def will go back.
Enjoyed our date night at Empire Rooftop. We were seated right away and ordered a couple of drinks and 2 entrees: Korean wings and the sirloin sliders. The wings were fine but the sliders were fantastic. I asked for a 2nd order of sliders and fries. The fries are absolutely addictive. This place is great for finger food, drinks and the views. It is a bit pricey but you are paying for the ambiance and the views. This was a cold, rainy night but our view was still fantastic. Can't wait to go back on a summer night!
Interesting snacks and nice drinks- a little different dinner experience, great proximity to Lincoln center
Perfect for LC show
Atmosphere and Service was excellent. Great way to start our evening.
Perfect to have a few drinks and relax after a day of shopping and sightseeing, great relaxing atmosphere.
Wonderful service, great hang!
This place has a beautiful view! For that reason--go! It also has a nice quiet vibe for the Sunday brunch.
The basket of pastries was a nice start--but we had to ask for the butter and jelly to go with it. The coffee was good, but there seemed to be a misunderstanding with the staff about whether a second cup of coffee would cost another five dollars. In the end it did not cost five additional dollars and was fine. I had the duck confit hash--it was good.
Overall--a good place--I would just want a few of the details to fall together a bit more smoothly.
Carafe of pineapple jalapeño infused drink was awful. 1st was solely pineapple juice. 2nd had hint of jalapeño infusion, but no alcohol.
They insist on a credit card up front because people have skipped out on the check. Our waitress disappeared. We asked the bus boy to get our check, as we had theatre tickets. Fifteen minutes passed and no check was received, so we went up to the desk. Apparently, their computer system was down. They couldn't create our bill or accept credit card payments. We demanded to speak to the manager. He was sheepish and apologetic and said we could leave without paying. What a mess! We did get the credit card back and left.
The dessert we had was terrible—it was a brownie sunday and it clearly was not recently baked. We didn't eat anything else because we actually found the dessert to be inedible.
What a nice find for pre-Theatre
Romantic. Quiet. Just lovely
Food was amazing. The service was iffy at times. Granted parts of the party opened tabs at the bar and a few opened a tabs with the waitress. But we still expected to get checked on by the waitress especially if we open a tab through her.
Love this place.
A terrific space with numerous windows showcasing the Lincoln Center area skyline. There is also an outside rootfop area. Great happy hour until 7:00 PM. Excellent small plates that can be shared. Very attentive service. Cool atmoshpere. A New York City experience.
This is not a true restaurant, basically a bar scene with very limited food choices. As a result, after a cocktail, my doughtier and I left for another restaurant.
The staff were amicable and the service was excellent! Great atmosphere! Quiet brunch with beautiful views!
Booked dinner last minute prior to a show at Lincoln center . Read mixed reviews about food and service but went anyway.
Food was Ok. Very noisy , not for a quiet date. Got seated at a high bar/ chair because there was a private event.
Thanks to a new girl Cyriah , we got served immediately and got out within 30 min .
Other servers were not as attentive.
Good for a one time experience. Go for the rooftop and the experience, not the food and prepare to spend $$$ !
