I’d never been to Emmy’s and after living in the neighborhood for three years now, I decided to finally go for my bday. we sat on the rooftop which has a great view of the skyline and south Philly if you’re in the right spot. Our server was such a sweetie, as well. We had the Caesar salad, the pesto breadsticks, and the margherita pizza, which were all great. The drinks are pricey but dangerously delicious. I had the sweet auburn which tastes like summer in a glass. Only knocked a point for some odd things that are exclusive to the rooftop; the glassware and plates are all plastic up there and the food all comes up in their dum waiter so it’s all boxed up as though it’s to go. Not sure why that is. Maybe they’re worried things will be broken more easily if they have to travel up there? I felt like it was worth it for the view and enjoying the weather but it was a bit odd. The tables are also plastic and absorb any grease from the food, which is a lot of grease, but I knew that going in. Overall, great spot, probably even better if you go for happy hour on a nice day. I’ll likely go back at some point or maybe order in. Thanks, Emmy’s!

Food was delicious, although the Caesar salad was over-salted- we gobbled it up anyway. Pizzas were all super tasty (we tried 3 kinds) and our server was a star! Lovely interior. Overall, we loved it.

Overpriced food served in cardboard boxes with mediocre service. Great ambiance on the roof and the pizza is yummy, but would be nice to eat on real plates with cutlery.

Service has gone considerably down hill since this place opened. The food didn’t come out hot, our order was wrong, and there was no consistent server. The one server yelled at a trainee right in front of everyone; it was so uncomfortable. This place was so good before; I’m sad it’s so bad now. Hopefully new management takes over.

This was our 2nd visit and another wonderful experience. We had a large group and shared everything. Brussel sprout salad was delicious and something different. We really loved all of our pizzas with the exception of the Good Paulie. It was dry, the onions were overwhelming and barely any sausage. The Roni and Margerita were outstanding!

Although we have ordered take out many times, we really enjoyed having dinner in the restaurant. We are fond of the pizza as our daughter has celiac. I would recommend it highly

Gluten-free pizza was excellent! Wings were not as crisp as I had explained to server. I’d still go back any day of the week. Five stars for Emmy Squared.

They were very helpful to our large table! They made sure we had enough space. Everything we ate was delicious. I would especially recommend the Deluxe pizza, Brussels sprouts salad, and the french fries!!

My fiancé and I visited on a Wednesday evening. We had the plain pizza with pepperoni and the MVP (vodka sauce, pesto on top), a beer, and a cocktail. Everything was delicious. Our server was sweet. The space is vibey. The only setback was we ordered fries, which never came. They left it on the bill. However, we weren’t super worried about it. Our server was apologetic, and they quickly corrected the issue. Would definitely recommend.
