The best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Our server JC was excellent. She was courteous and polite. We got the vodka pizza with fried chicken and caramelized onions—simply divine. We even got the same pizza to go.
Outstanding pizza. When the weather is nice, the outdoor patio can’t be beat.
Always great food at atmosphere
A small group of friends like to try new restaurants a couple times of month. I made a reservation ahead of time, when we got there, they were not busy and acted as we were an inconvenience. Then, once we were seated, we felt very rushed in having to decide our drinks and food. The website said they had Sangria, they didn’t. The website and their menu advertises frozen margaritas… didn’t have those either. Again, acted like we wanted something crazy (and if it is just weekend drinks I understand… but explain that). Food was good, but we won’t be back.
We decided to go to eat here at the suggestion of one of my friends. The food was amazing but atmosphere was really really nice and the waitress was prompt, efficient and very friendly. A little outside area in the back will be an excellent place to hang out during the summer. We will definitely be back.
OST of the table had pizza. Delicious. Especially good gluten free pizza. Will return to restaurant.
Garlic bread sticks were delicious, drinks were just ok, caesar salads were a tad bit dry, all pizzas were overcooked, food was served late, overpriced
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Your sincere feedback makes a difference and helps us to be our best. We hope you will consider coming back to give us another chance.
We’ve been before and had a great experience, but this time we went and waited for an hour and a half and never received our pizza. We had to end up leaving after only getting an appetizer of cheese bread (which was delicious!). Not sure if it was something happening in the back, but several other tables were experiencing the same problem.
We had 5:15 reservations. When we arrived the restaurant was fairly empty. We got seated quickly but then waited 20 minutes to get waited on, another 20 minutes for drinks and to obtain our dinner order. We then waited an hour to get food. They were working on to go orders instead of in house orders. We had plans at 7:30. We barely were able to enjoy our food before we had to leave. The wait staff was friendly but the kitchen was mismanaged.
I had been there for dinner, but brunch was amazing! The Hangover pizza is the best thing on their menu, other than maybe the Za fries.
Standard pizza place. Pizza was good enough, but not $24 good. Took 40 minutes to get two standard pizzas that were medium size at best. Server was inattentive, not that a pizza joint requires good service anyway. Was clear our table of 5 value was not important next to the other parties of 7 or 8. Worst part was blaring music. Really loud noise level. Overall it's a place where groups of friends come to show off to each to other how they can spend way too much for simple pizza.
We truly strive to make every visit to Emmy Squared - Nulu equally wonderful, and we are sorry that you left with an unfavorable impression. We do hope you will choose to visit us again.
Great first visits, great service and food was yummy. A bit pricy for lunch but overall liked the place and will go back
Everything was great- service, food, atmosphere!
Great service - Andre was very helpful and excellent. Noisy inside, will sit outside next time.
This was our first time at Emmy. We did not realize that Market street was closed for a special event and this impacted parking and access to Emmy. We had a very nice meals and the portions were huge.
We will provide a better more specific review next time we visit and we expect to return again.
Fist time there and it was great.
Although the restaurant is noisy for older folks like us, the pizza is worth it! High quality toppings on a great, crunchy crust.
I’ve been to you all several times and always suggest it for a fun option with friends. Last night my pizza was very dry, and I was especially disappointed because I’ve been on a strict diet for months and that was my splurge meal. The guest I treated to dinner said their meal was good- so that’s good.
Had the sausage pepper and mushroom pizza. Split it with my husband and we both had our fill. Disappointed that they didn't have any draft beer, but our server was great and suggested we walk over to west sixth for some. We sat in the courtyard and had a wonderful meal.
The ambiance was excellent, inside the restaurant and outside in the courtyard. The food was everything I expected, absolutely delicious.
Some of the best pizza that I’ve tried in Louisville! Highly recommend the Colony, but all five of the pizzas our group tried were delicious.
Both the food and the service were fantastic. We started with the garlic cheese sticks and they were very good. For our dinner we got a pepperoni pizza. It was very flakey with a crispy crust and a terrifically tangy sauce. Pizza is a little pricey but totally worth it. We will go back.
However, we had an odd experience. I saw plenty of reservations available on open table before hand and we went sure when we would get there so decided not to make one. We got there at 8:35pm and walked in from the back seeing that there were plenty of tables open. Went to the host stand and we were told a 45 min wait for 2. Thought that was odd. Waited for about 10 mins and saw that they weren’t really seating anyone. So I made a reservation for 8:45. We were immediately seated and food came out fast. Not a single person acted frantic and we received excellent service! Just confused by the long wait time when it didn’t seem necessary.
Good food and great service
The waiter was great! She helped us pick some great pizza. I’ll definitely be back!
The food was really great along with the environment. Unfortunately, the service was very impersonal and rough. Some things were ordered and not received, but still added to our bill. We were brought incorrect drinks and had to request for the correct adjustments. Overall, I think this restaurant is still a nice place, but has room for improvement.
Good pizza. The specialty drinks not so much. Waiter knocked over canned beer which made the can bubble snd she didn't even offer to get a new one. She handed it to us and said 'be careful'
Pizza was very good; loved the Quinn & Margarita pizzas.
Love the new NULU Center w fun atmosphere. We were greeted and seated promptly with great, continuing service. Food very good but prices a bit high for the Louisville market. If in the area, would return, but wouldn’t drive across town.
Hot pizza to share around the table. Good beer to sip while waiting for the pizza to arrive. Don't forget the cauliflower appetizer. YUMMY!
The food service delay was very long. The server was wonderful and kept us informed of the delay, due to kitchen. The environment is nice and open. The noise level was beyond energetic. It was annoyingly TOO loud (My only complaint). By far one of best, if not best, pizzas ever. I will be back but sit outside in the courtyard.
Service and food were fantastic! I was nervous leading up to our reservation because there is no way to get in contact with the restaurant (no one answers the phone) and we had a larger party than expected. I included a note on opentable and although I couldn't get confirmation by phone, they took care of the reservation and everything went smoothly! I was more than pleased with our experience. Great job!
The restaurant was closed!!! Really annoying we were able to make a reservation and the restaurant wasn’t even open
Pizza was super delicious, but beware: the Calabrian chilis are no joke! The margharita pizza was sublime! Service was a little hurried, but that is to be expected on a busy Saturday night. The cocktails were lacking, too sweet and no balance. The outside courtyard vibe is fantastic!
The fries was the only decent part of our meal. Service was ok, but need some training for the trainer training the trainee.
So nice. Ate outside and enjoyed the beautiful day along with the wonderful food.
I had a confirmed reservation for 7, only to show up to find the restaurant closed. It seems that their website, outgoing phone message, and the signs posted for takeout in the courtyard all list different hours. The surrounding businesses were also surprised to find them closed. Luckily, we were able to go down the street to La Bodeguita de Mima, who accommodated us right away despite their two hour wait.
Hi, we sincerely apologize for the disappointment you experienced for your expected visit. We were open, we just had to close the patio door and remove the table set ups due to the weather. We know we can't change the past, but we'd like to try to make things right, and have reached out to your private inbox.
The pizza was to great! Any of the pizzas can we gluten free, which is a great option. I would highly recommend the Big Ang.
Best eggplant parmigiana!
The slowest service in the loudest restaurant that we’ve ever been to. Incredibly disappointed, as we were really looking forward to trying it out.
