The pizza was good but arrived barely warm. A huge pet peeve for me is that they add the liquor tax of 15.5% in addition to sales tax on all alcohol so with the 9.25% sales tax you have to add a whopping 24.75% to the price on the menu. Many are doing this but places like J.Alexanders and Char and many others include the liquor tax in the stated menu price and only add the sales tax.
Food and service was wonderful. Menu has just the right amount of choices as to not overwhelm.
We went for my husband's birthday, and everyone on the staff was friendly and accommodating. The perfect for ages two through the 60s!
Everything was delicious, and Brittney was a fabulous server and very attentive.
We had a good experience at this restaurant. Our waitress was professional and very attentive. My teenage boys said it was the best burger ever. I wish they had a thin crust pizza. The items on the menu are “heavy” not “light”.
Very disappointing experience- service was poor: meals brought to wrong individuals (which I could understand if they were busy, but we were 1 of 3 tables w/clients), at end of meal the checks (on mini-clipboards), were “tossed” randomly at us - again not given to the correct party. When questions were asked we received abrupt responses from our server. The food was good, but not great, therefore rendering the whole experience a regrettable waste of time and money. Needless to say, we will not be going back or recommending to others.
Very nice atmosphere and the food was delicious. Definitely will be going back soon.
Oh, hey, if you're thinking of this place, DO IT!!! I've never had Detroit style pizza, let me tell you it was amazing! Every dish we ordered, we devoured. The ambiance was great inside and out. I highly recommend eating here. We LOVED our experience in every way. I also hear they have the best burger in town. I'm definitely coming back to try that out.
love that there is a location in green hills, so convenient before or after shopping, a movie, or for a night out with friends
Was a little disappointed, service wasn’t the best and food over priced for sure.
We had two pizzas (Colony regular and Angel w/ gluten free crust), the broccoli salad, and waffle fries. Everything we had was delicious-the pizza has cheese in the crust making it even better and we had thought the broccoli salad would be sweet but were pleasantly surprised that it was more savory. The service would good albeit slow. I will be returning and will recommend it.
The outdoor patio was just as nice as when it was Table 3. Great service. Should have ordered pizza-too much of the rest of the menu is fried. The pizza looked good, if you like deep dish.
This is my new favorite pizza! My husband had the chicken parmesan sandwich and said it was amazing and it is huge. 3 of us split the caesar salad and it was perfect to split and really goos.
Awesome Gluten Free crust!!
It was okay. Three of us ordered Zia fries, Big Matt burger, Caesar salad and a pizza, plus two beers. Everything was just average and the draft beers were flat. Bill was over $90. Will not be my top choice
Food was excellent as always, service was a little slow . But overall good experience
Loved this restaurant from the gulch and now enjoying the same great food, pizza , eggplant and burgers in Green Hills!
My first time at this restaurant in our neighborhood. The device was very good & professional. The food was terrific. Large portions. Will definitely return soon!
Nice evening for the patio. Food was great. Only complaint is that our waitress grabbed my salad plate too early as well as my pizza!!! Please ask next time!
It was a fun lunch with family but I wish I'd asked for a quiet table. Restaurant was noisy and music was loud. Good was pretty good. Service was excellent.
This is some of the very best upscale pizza anywhere in the country. Even Michigan, where this style of pizza first premiered, can hardly hold a candle to Emmy squared. We can’t wait to return!
Very unique menu. We enjoyed the waffle fries appetizer. Service was very good.
Margherita pizza was good with a crunchy crust. Italian salad delicious with lightly fried artichoke hearts and eggplant—good combination. Service was excellent.
Patio is great!
Indeed they have a great burger. But just not a fan of the pizza. Yes it’s crispy but it’s greasy. It’s fried. Total greaseball.
The food was good, but nothing very special in my opinion. Still looking for a place to eat in green hills that isn’t just okay and very overpriced. Didn’t find it tonight. We both enjoyed our meal enough and have no complaints about the food, it just wasn’t quite worth the price.
We were also bothered, as I always am, that we were charged for lots of little things without being asked or informed and the bill racked up to even more than we had planned without our knowledge.
Probably won’t go back :/
Amazing burger and drinks!!
My wife and I shared the burger and a pizza. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one of these up. They are so choice.
Had lunch here last week. Food is excellent. Service was good as well. Menu is a bit different but the pizza is distinctive, but excellent, and the burger is one of the best in town.
The Chicken Parm sandwich was great as well.
Loved the pizza. Didn't have a salad but they looked great
Our server was the best, she added to the experience.
loved the italian salad and the vodka pizza and the olives. Will come back!
I enjoyed my lunch although I think it's a bit pricey for what we got. The pizza was very good, but I'll skip the caesar salad next time and opt for the Italian salad. The dessert, chocolate mousse, wasn't very good and didn't taste like any mousse I've had before. More like flavored Cool Whip. It was good the see the restaurant full of diners as Green Hills badly needs more good restaurants. I'd say this is good but won't be on my regular rotation.
Yes. The hot chicken wedge combines two traditional Nashville items and the result is delicious!
Great pizza and burger! Excellent service. Can’t wait to visit again.
Delicious food. Sandwiches are HUGE! We should have split one for the two of us, but the leftovers were delicious too!
The food and service was awesome! But I can’t get past the bug problem on the patio. The table next to us asked to go inside.
Servers seemed phony nice. Atmosphere was cute but super loud. Got seated fairly quickly because we made a reservation. Waffle fries appetizer was AMAZING [only good thing]. Caesar salad was an actual joke with tons of breadcrumbs [which dried if out so much] on WEDGES of romaine, then two big chunks of anchovies on top, like what? And crispy chicken I got on the side seemed like it was frozen and then improperly cooked...it was pink inside and gooey. I returned it to the server, and they said they'd remake it. TWENTY minutes later, they bring a new piece...still gross and undercooked. Slow service. Then they finally brought our check and had the audacity to charge me for the stupid chicken. I was shocked and told our waiter that I was not comfortable paying for it, then he begrudgingly removed it and brought me a new check. What a joke in customer service. My friend's kale salad was gross too, nothing special. I hear the pizza is ok, but there's nothing anyone can do to make me go back to Emmy Squared Green Hills (or any location, for that matter)... NO, THANKS.
Amazing pizza and salad
Don't expect pizza choices you've seen before. A new experience with original toppings. Be daring!
Ours had pimento cheese and benton bacon. Exceptional. But super thick & rich. We shared one pizza among two people and still had leftovers. Also had a salad with artichokes first-- that was large and super good. My friend had previously tried the eggplant dish and didn't like it. We've heard from others, to stick
with the pizza.
