Hearts of romaine, anchovy-caesar, sprizolina
Pizza was excellent but took over an hour to get our food and our server did not check on us once.
Very popular spot, make sure you place a reservation. Pizza was wonderful, interesting varieties on the menu including several meatless…although my preference is less dough and more topping (thinner crust). Service was efficient and ongoing, not instructive but available when refills needed. We will be back.
INCREDIBLE FOOD! Love the cheesy bread and pizza! Great drinks too and love the ambiance of the place. Will be recommending to MANY
Pizza was bad. Overpriced. Only people in the restaurant and could not get service. Order was wrong and had to remake.
Third visit to Emmy Squared. Was hoping 3x a charm. Everyone seems to like the place. Cold food and overdressed salad (even when light dressing was requested). No thanks.
This was the worst service I have probably had in my life. Had reservations for new year’s eve. Took 20+ minutes before we were even acknowledged at our table. Once we were acknowledged by our waitress, who also happened to be the only bartender, it took another 20 minutes to get our drinks. Each employee looked like they were lost and had no idea what they were doing. Food wasn’t terrible but was missing the sausage that was supposed to come on it. Don’t let the ambiance fool you, save yourself and go somewhere else.
Always amazing! The food is incredible. You must get the sandwiches and pizza!!
We went here right before seeing Spiderman (spoiler alert: there’s no actual spiders in it) and the food was good, rosé was good, and an attentive server brought it all together quickly and nicely! Great place for a meal before a movie!
Food was average. Took forever to get the order.
Server was nice and apologetic…
Had a reservation. Waited at host stand for a reasonable amount of time. The lights were out, barstools still on bar counter and never saw an employee. Terrible experience! No way to treat a patron. Can’t imagine going back!
I have had good experiences here before, but this time it was not the same. They sat us in an overflow room which had no ambiance and bright fluorescent lighting, not the vibe you want for a special dinner. And it was downhill from there. We didn’t get our drinks for 45 minutes, then when we did, several of them were wrong. They were out of the appetizer we wanted, and our entrees took even longer to come out, and all came out at different times. Two of us did not get our main dishes until after everyone else was done eating, and one of the entrees was never even made. Such a disappointment, and you expect more at a place like this!
Best gluten free pizza crust in town. Easy location to pop in and out of with parking in the garage.
Great burgers salads and pizzas
Took a long time for a host (who I think was also a server) to appear and seat us. When we asked to sit outside she seemed put out because the umbrellas were blowing over (which was nice of her to tell us). It was a beautiful day but windy so we wanted to sit outside and told her the umbrellas weren't a big deal. However, the wind started blowing really strong and she had to come out and hold the umbrellas down. We asked if it would she would rather us sit inside and she said, "You can do whatever you want" in a short tone. She and the other server both seemed stressed and annoyed. Overall there just seemed to be a lot of negative energy and the food was average tasting so unfortunately didn't make up for the atmosphere.
Drinks were very slow in arriving, the fries order was not put in with order, they were delayed for 15 additional minutes. They weren't very busy, but seemed to struggle.
This place has great food. Zia fries are SO good. Several people in my group got the burger and LOVED it. One of the best options near Green Hills mall.
The Le Matt Burger is incredible. We had a fantastic dinner after seeing House of Gucci at the theater next-door. We have family from out of town visiting and they raved about the food!
First time trying Emmy Squared pizza and it was delicious. Glad to have gluten-free options for my husband. Savannah, our server, was amazing as well. She was very busy not only serving but assisting with Takeout as well. Will definitely go back there the next time I'm in Nashville.
I met friends here on a Friday night. We ordered and got the food before we got our drinks. We were never able to order a second drink and our salad came when we were ready to leave. The server was very nice, but I am assuming she was trying to work way too many tables.
Waited almost 45 min despite having a reservation, but once we were seated, food was amazing and service was great.
How does a restaurant run out of three types of Pinot Noir on their wine list? Not a very diverse menu either
We had a great meal and tried most of the items on the menu, all of which were really good! Service was great, also. We will definitely be returning!
Service was awful...AWFUL. Food is good but not a great value.
Pizza was SO good!
Pizza was great
The pizza is mostly bread, not enough toppings. Slow service and too much noise. Expensive for what you get.
Emmy Squared never disappoints when it comes to quality. The food is consistent and tasty, and this visit was no different. Our server was very attentive and friendly as well. Brought my in-laws here because it is one of my favorite pizzas. They loved it and wish they had one in California.
The food took way too long. Otherwise fine.
Great food. Great server.
Short staffed kitchen. Waited for nearly 2 hours for meal. Waitress apologized over and over. Food was great but it took forever to come to table.
Party of four went for a casual birthday dinner. Nothing special, just dinner. The food was good, the Brussels sprout salad was amazing. Le Big Matt was good, maybe not the best in town but right up there. Where it all came crashing down was the service. It was abysmal. Forgotten appetizer, which we finally had to ask about, was blamed on a new ticket system. Saw the waiter about once every twenty minutes, even when the table was out of water. All out. All in all, a forgettable experience. I will give it another try, but only one more evening like this will keep me away for good.
Delicious Caesar salad and pizza. Only complaint was pizza was not hot.
We arrived right at 6:30 for our reservation for 6 people. We waited until 7 to be seated. There was a party of 6 with a 6:45 reservation and a party of 6 with a 7pm reservation that both came in after us yet were seated before us. It took 3 times going back up to the hostess stand asking when our table would be ready. The food was fine but the service was slow as well after we were finally seated.
Overall our experience was good. Our server was so nice and helpful. Food was great. Zero complaints there, and honestly we had a great meal. Our only complaint revolved around the hosting staff. We made a reservation and requested to sit outside. When we arrived we waited 20 minutes before being seated at an inside table next to a large group without any discussion. We politely asked to sit outside as requested and were told that "Management told us to not sit anyone else outside because of the bugs". My husband explained the entire reason we came there was for outside seating and we would still like to sit outside at our own risk. Once outside, there were no issues with bugs/pests of any kind. There were 3 other groups sat outside right after us. I'm not making assumptions, but the handling of the situation felt as if the hosting staff or someone simply didn't want to deal with seating anyone outside. If it truly was a management instruction, we never spoke to a manager to clarify. The reason just seemed like absolute nonsense after we got out there.
The burger was good, everything else wasn’t good. Didn’t seem fresh
Three of us went on a Saturday at 1:30 for lunch. Sat outside and had a delightful time. Of course the weather was amazing which you definitely cannot count on in Nashville in July which added to the experience.
We ordered the cauliflower appetizer and 3 pizzas knowing that we would bring half of it home. Everything was great.
Not as good as the gluch
Our waitress was amazing and gave us wonderful suggestions off the menu. We had the chopped cheese waffle friends, the garlic cheese bread, and the Colony(2)pizza. They were all wonderful, but the pizza was just the best. Pepperoni, jalapeños, and honey as toppings may sound weird, but it works perfectly together. Definitely will be going back.
It was a graduation celebration. The person we were celebrating didn’t get his food until everyone was finished
