Our server-Damian was one of the best servers I’ve had in awhile...

Very disappointed...food was cold and unappetizing. Waiter never came back to check on the meal had to go looking for him. Sorry to say, this restaurant will close if changes aren’t made. As a Wheaton resident and want to see businesses succeed didn’t enjoy giving this review.

I got the steak tacos, the meat was dry & tough.

We went on Saturday and they had 2 waiters working, we waiting almost an hour and a half for food. Sunday I went again and much faster service however the server basically kicked us out at 7:37pm..... we knew they closed at 8pm and would not have disrespected it. Felt rude!

Our server was great, but they were BADLY understaffed and she had far to many tables to cover. We are regulars there, but must say we will not be going back soon. Very disappointing experience.

I ordered the salmon and my husband had the cod. Our friends ordered a club sandwich and the cob salad. Everything was delicious and very affordable. The service was great and everything was clean and appetizing. We will be back. .

Valentine’s weekend. So glad you’re open again and so nice to be out! Well spaced out .... felt like we were in our own little world but sooo happy to be dining out! Delicious food!!! ❤️

Open Table is taking reservations for this restaurant, but it is closed. Did not find that out until arrival at the restaurant.

Emmett's is closed. Why is this restaurant still on Open Table? We made a reservation and arrived to find it closed since October 2020. This was so disappointing!

Closed for business when I went there. I really wish there was an option to find out if this place still exists.

I was able to book a reservation and drove all the way to the restaurant- it was CLOSED!

Very disappointed. Open Table took my reservation for 6:45pm. When we got there the place was closed. Sign on the door said opening soon.

We called and a recording came on and talked about to go orders.

Very disappointed that we drove the distance. It would have been nice to have known ahead of time; as we would have made other arrangements.

Always a great time. French onion soup is the best! Everyone is very friendly.

We made a reservation for outdoor seating because it was such a nice evening. When we got there we were offered dining room seating. I showed my confirmation email for outdoor seating but was told that outside was booked. We sat inside. Service was slow. Had the soup and half sandwich. Both were good. I am a big fan of the cheddar ale soup and it never disappoints. The pretzel stick that came with it tasted like it had been microwaved for too long. This is one of our favorite places in Wheaton but lately it has been hit or miss.

Great food, great beer selection. Steak was perfect.

Was upset because I had booked an indoor table and the hostess said they automatically book outdoor seating therefore even though we had a reservation we had to wait. Our waitress was great. Our soups were cold. Salads were so.... so. I might try them again but it was chilly and I wasn’t about to be forced to eat outside when I specially booked indoor seating.

Loved the experience. Rachel, who was our server, was amazing - very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and beverages. Would love to go there again.

Sent in a reservation through Open Table, requested a TABLE, not a booth, a TABLE for 6 adults. Also told them that we would like to speak with someone concerning having a Rehearsal Dinner with them in the near future. When we got there, the girl took us to a circular BOOTH that could seat maybe 4 comfortably. I told her I had requested a TABLE - and she said - this is all we have, and threw the menus on the table and walked away. This was at like 2 in the afternoon - they were NOT busy, there was one other couple in there. I immediately went up and asked again for a TABLE - she got very upset, and finally pushed a table up against a straight booth and said' this is the best i can do' - We had to ASK 4 times to speak to the events coordinator. she came over as we were getting ready to leave... and said she could only give us two minutes because she had another party coming. The food was just 'okay' - the warm stuff came out 'lukewarm' and the cold stuff came out ' lukewarm' Had to ask for refills on water...… Dirty dishes were never cleared before next course came out. Overall, not exactly pleased. Will be looking elsewhere for rehearsal dinner.

Dined outdoors, interesting to watch the street activity and the trains. Train whistle of freight very loud. Our server was delightful, very welcoming and helpful. Everything enjoyed their choice of entree. Definitely a return warranted.

We had a nice evening eating outside. The food was quite good and we were pleased with choosing Emmetts. Our server was friendly and knowledgable. Food and drink quality were very good.

This is a wonderful place to dine in downtown Wheaton! Great food and great service!

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner on their outdoor patio. Service was excellent.

We weren't impressed with our meal this time. We were only given 1 (disposable paper) menu to share, they only offered silverware to one diner (the one who definitely would need it) and the food was mediocre. We went because in the past we were all so pleased with our meals. Not this time. Personally, we won't return.

We were lucky with good weather and ate out on the "balcony". That was the ideal way to dine -- 4:00 p.m. during Covid-19 restrictions. We are seniors not comfortable with indoor seating. Our server was attentive and wore her mask at all times.

Good food and drink; nice patio overlooking Front Street. A periodic commuter train passing by but not overly annoying. Will go back!

Great ambiance seated on patio and watching the people stroll by. Our server, Kayla, was awesome. Definitely will return.

Great experience at Emmett's! Bargain beers on Tuesdays, love the shaved brussels sprouts salad and fish tacos, excellent service and safe!

Emmett’s has been one of our favorite restaurants since we moved to Wheaton 3 years ago. We always enjoy ourselves and the service is wonderful.
