THIS IS NOT A POP-UP! After nearly two years of pop-ups, Emmett now has a permanent home on West Girard Avenue. The time has come for us to say thank you to the many chefs and restaurants that supported us along the way, and pay it forward to the next great chefs in search of their brick and mortars. This event is part of a series of collaborative dinners hosted at Emmett. For our second dinner, we're excited to host Chef Tim Dearing of Ūle. The menu for each dinner will consist of four courses with multiple plates in each course. Tickets cover the cost of the tasting menu per person. Beverages will be available for purchase during the evening. Gratuity is not included in the initial ticket purchase. Guests will have the opportunity to leave gratuity on the final check presented at the end of the evening.

This place is outstanding. The food was divine and inspired with so many various flavors! I was blown away by the choices available. We choose the tasting menu and could not have been more pleased! All the service staff were knowledgeable and attentive. This is def a 'destination' restaurant for the city.

Just WOW! From the service to each amazing course. A restaurant in Philly that’s actually mind blowing with its deliciously refreshing & unique dishes. Not to mention the manager really went above & beyond to make sure we don’t miss our reservation since it was almost impossible to find parking in the area. Really made our anniversary dinner the best one yet. P.S parking in the area is basically nonexistent so uber if you are not walking distance ☺️

Fun, flavorful, inventive food. Waitstaff need training and supervision. I decided to overlook the constant interruptions (With 12 dishes served for a 4-top having the tasting menu, do you really need to ask 12 times whether we like a dish? Seriously.), the condescending language (How are we tonight?, How are we liking our food?, Do we need another drink? Diners are not children. And, anyway, that language is condescending to kids, too.), and the basics (Don't invasively reach across diners to place plates for other diners only to walk to the other side of the table to place the flatware. Quietly remove clearly empty service plates - no need to interrupt an obviously on-going conversation to ask if a plate can be removed - that resulted in an additional 12+ interruptions.), and pacing (Rushed at the beginning, slow at the end.). Seems that staff would not need to be taught these things, but evidently they do at Emmett. I hoped that our dinner guests were not noticing but they finally remarked on the poor, ill-timed, and overbearing service - the word "intrusive" was used several times. Bottom line: Emmett will be a better restaurant when the quality of their staff is as good as their food.

The overall experience was great! The food was amazing and the value you get for the tasting menu is amazing. Every dish left us wanting more. We were so full by the end of the dinner and could not finish the desserts. I can’t wait to go back!

All around amazing experience. Cocktails were DELICIOUS. Food was amazing. Loved the ribeye and the wagyu tartlet. We didn’t do the tasting menu, we did Ala carte but everything was amazing! Will be telling everyone about this place.
