Welcome to Emmett! We're a Philadelphia restaurant blending Levantine cuisine with elements from around the greater Mediterranean, highlighting French, Italian, North African, and Middle Eastern flavors.

We strive to emphasize local connections, sourcing from a range of local farms to supply our kitchen as well as showcasing Philly artists for ceramics, glassware, and design, with the goal of cultivating community relationships and staying true to the city of Philadelphia.

    THIS IS NOT A POP-UP! After nearly two years of pop-ups, Emmett now has a permanent home on West Girard Avenue. The time has come for us to say thank you to the many chefs and restaurants that supported us along the way, and pay it forward to the next great chefs in search of their brick and mortars. This event is part of a series of collaborative dinners hosted at Emmett. For our third dinner, we're excited to host Chef Chance Anies of the forthcoming Manong. The menu for each dinner will consist of three to four courses with multiple plates in each course. Tickets cover the cost of the tasting menu per person. Beverages will be available for purchase during the evening. Gratuity is not included in the initial ticket purchase. Guests will have the opportunity to leave gratuity on the final check presented at the end of the evening.

    There is nothing negative I can say. I had a phenomenal time. The service was above and beyond. Welcoming yet very polished. The innovate cuisine is paired perfectly with savory cocktails, a unique and enriching experience.

    My husband and I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting to treat themselves to good food, fantastic service and great memories! Erin was out waitress and went above and beyond the call of duty to make us feel welcomed, helped go in to detail about the menu items and was overall a treat to be a part of our celebration for starting our journey together this summer! I strongly recommend ordering two orders of the sesame madeleines and make room for the dessert!! The rockfish was delicious and can’t wait to go back to try so many of the other items. We’ve already recommended this place to a handful of friends.

    My husband and I had one of the most wonderful meals (definitely top 5!) at Emmett. The drinks were so unique- we had the one way out milk punch which was so refreshing for a hot day. Also had the sanity and order. If you like mushroom- get this! I had no idea that mushroom could be used in a cocktail and taste so balanced. For dinner we had the lamb pie, rye tartlets, rabbit lasagna, tehina agnolotti, and halloumi squash blossoms. Every single plate looked beautiful and were enjoyed. The food clearly features a fusion of flavors from different countries and the menu is so unique, you won’t be able to find similar dishes anywhere else. For dessert we had the pea and lemon curd- not too sweet and they managed to incorporate savory peas into a dessert. Every single item, from drinks to dessert was so delicious and different from anything I’ve had elsewhere in Philly. This is what I appreciated the most about this experience. The staff are so attentive and friendly. They chatted with us between courses and were so helpful when we had questions. What a wonderful experience we can’t wait to go back!

    Overall good experience however I feel the server could have been more attentive, I ate an entire course without having my water refilled and with an empty cocktail glass

    I have had two excellent dinner experiences at Emmett with more to come. The food is excellent, creative, visually appealing and served with care. The service is warm and professional. The space is attractive if a bit noisy. It is not cheap, which will limit the frequency of my visits, but I highly recommend Emmett for discerning diners.

    Everything was top notch! I especially loved the rabbit lasagna, which had one of the best jus's I've ever had. I tried a couple of the more savory cocktails, one with porcini steeped gin and another with feta-washed vodka. Both were very unique. The service was friendly and professional. The gals really looked out for me as a solo diner. :)
