Beautiful restaurant and amazing customer service
Friendly staff. Delicious entrees and cocktails. My son tried the pizza bianco and ate it all.
Charming restaurant... went during the day for brunch and will definitely go back for dinner at night!
The food was unique and beautifully presented. Enjoyed everthing we ordered. The waiter and side staff were attentive and prompt in checking in on us. The decor is stunning and comfortable. The noise level was awful. It was difficult to converse in a small group. Maybe some fabric draping in the celings would help to deflect some of the noise. Its not a good place for a romantic setting. Beautiful but boisterous
Everything we hoped it would be. Highly recommended by friends. Our first visit but definitely not our last.
The restaurant is beautiful. Great job on the renovation. We were seated right next to the kitchen, in the bar, nice table but the table next to it seemed to be an employee gathering space. We got to hear all the complaining.
The food was great except the eggplant was so salty we could not eat them. Branzino was perfect. Panna Cotta was divine. Service was fair. The food runner didnt know whose food was whose. The waiter was personable.
When we left, there were 4 people at the front desk and not one of them said goodbye or asked if every thing was ok. No manager ever came by to check on our table during lunch.
Maybe a little training would help.
What a lovely place to dine, service was great, food was thoughtfully prepared and the taste was exceptional.
Dined with co-workers at lunch time and took part in their Houston Restaurant Weeks menu. Will definitely go here again! It's gorgeous and delicious ...
Great evening. Well prepared food. Attentive service.
Emmaline always offers excellent menu selections but their Houston Restaurant Weeks menu was superb!
This was my first visit to Emmaline. Decided to try it for restaurant week. The entire experience was fabulous! The atmosphere is so pleasant. Not very noisy at all. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Every dish from the appetizer to the dessert was outstanding! Highly recommend!
Enjoyable dinner. The food was very good. The service was slow and the drinks were differently made each time we reordered.
I think the restaurant week menu with wine pairings threw the kitchen and servers off.
My veal chop came out raw.
Atmosphere was pleasant.
My first time to eat here and I was not disappointed. Great ambiance and an interesting and tasty menu.
Houston Restaurant Weeks menu was exquisite! My friend and I chose different options so we could try twice as many delightful dishes. Each and every one was flavorful and beautifully presented. The space is beautiful and service was attentive. Recommended!
food was good but customer services was pretty much slow, 2.5 hours just for lunch, our waitress took so long for everything, I have to stand up and ask for my check
Came for Houston Restaurant week at 7:15. While the servers and other staff members could not have been nicer when the interacted with you, service was slow. Water refills were quick, frequent and unasked- perfect timing. Definitely the place for a long lingering dinner, conducting business. The caviar 1st course was delicate and airy, just lovely, just right. The scallop entree was again light and delicious. The scallops could not have been cooked more perfectly. There were only two, however they were so delicious I did not want to rush one bite, savoring each one. The freshly made ice creams accompanying the Pavlova and the chocolate were refreshing and favorable. Perfect with the main confection. I responded no to recommending to a friend simply because I will go back on my own at least one more time to see if tonight's service was simply an aberration due to unforeseen circumstances. I do not believe I was attended too less frequently because I was choosing from the restaurant week menu v the full menu.
I’ve been to Emmaline a few times now and it always impresses. Not only is the atmosphere incredibly charming and quaint but the food is fantastic. For brunch we sat outside (we had a friends pooch with us) it was beyond hot but they were quick with water refills, a bowl for the dog and brought over an additional umbrella. We had the oysters, cinnamon bun, mussels, French toast, BLTA and the lobster Benedict - everything was excellent and the brunch cocktails are great! Will definitely keep going back and would recommend to anyone for any occasion!
Brunch was good. Oysters were delicious.
Really great place!
All aspects of the evening was great. We tried different items from the restaurant week menu and everything was great. Wonderful to be able to speak to and hear my wife with no difficulty. Service was wonderful.
Emmaline....It’s not just for brunch anymore. We’ve been here several times for brunch and always love it. Great food. Great cocktails. Great service. Fun atmosphere. Somehow in my mind it’s always been a great brunch place. But don’t pigeonhole this place. Lunches dinners. Yes. Btw their Houston Restaurant Weeks menu is stellar. We love this place.
We enjoyed our meal immensely.
We tried out Emmaline for Restaurant Week and to celebrate birthdays. The food was delicious and the wine pairings were excellent. I would definitely go back here for a date or another friend gathering.
Amazing food and service!!
Joseph was the perfect server.
Nice dining & wine suggestions & attentive.
I'm a huge foodie! Have dined all over Houston & other cities for years I'm rarely blown away.
This was my 1st visit and could not have been happier ! The amazing blend of flavors and a beautiful presentation.
Beautifully designed spaces.
Love the 2 rooms for less noise and more cozy experience.
Only 2 starter photos as we jumped in to enjoy the other fine dishes before I thought about capturing them!!

We went for the Houston Restaurant Weeks Lunch #HRW2019 and the food, service and ambiance was terrific. We will return soon for a date night dinner. In addition to the food, the artisanal cocktails were great, especially their interpretation of an Old Fashion (hint: they add Grappa). Sam Governale has done a great job with both the decor and the food.
We had an especially nice waiter! He was helpful and patient given the tardiness of half of our table.
One of my favorite restaurants in Houston! The grilled cheese with tomato soup dip is an absolute dream for lunch.
Love loved this place! The food was exceptional and service fantastic!
Wonderful new restaurant for us. Food was special. Beautiful decor
Lunch was fantastic. Our server gave us excellent recommendations. Highly recommend for lunch.
Our server seemed irritated that I asked for 3 tastings before settling on a wine selection and continued to be prickly the entire evening. The food was not exceptional in any regard; the Spring green pea soup was over-cooked/heated and tasted more like split pea soup, the bucatini with clams was tasteless and the pasta texture nothing like a bucatini. The gelato was good and the highpoint of my dinner.
Attended for a birthday. Jorge waited on us. Wonderful experience all around.
First time at Emmaline, upon recommendation from some foodie friends. Went for the Houston Restaurant Week lunch menu with wine pairings. Outstanding food and service. Appetizers were delicious and like works of art (Oysters and Pearls, and Scallop Crudo), Entrees hearty and delicious (The Sammy and Lamb Pappardelle), and dessert rich and luscious (Buttermilk Panna Cotta--not your typical panna cotta, this was incredible). Wine pairings were perfect. Will be visiting again soon.
The branzino was incredible. Food and drinks were the best! We had a bigger group (of 8) and it was serviced perfectly. Would recommend to anyone!
Nice atmosphere. The food was delicious and beautiful. Our Server professional yet personable.
Wonderful place to enjoy a meal! Amazing food, gorgeous atmosphere! Can't wait until the weather cools off so we can enjoy the outside area!
Absolutely love Emmaline. Food and service amazing. I would recommend for any occasion.
Emmaline is absolutely delicious! We did HRW and were not disappointed at all. We sat outside because inside was a little noisy. Collin was our waiter and he was great!
