   Trust the hype. I took my family there while we were staying in NYC to try their infamous burger and it did not disappoint. Place was packed but we booked in advance and it arrived super quick. Would happily recommend this to others but do make sure you reserve a table in advance!

   Seriously, one of the top 10 best meals we have ever had! The Emily double stack burger was freaking amazing as was the spicy chicken sandwich! Get them both!! And also the midtown violet cocktail was soooo good, we actually walked back 4 miles the next day to have another one! Thank you, Emily for one of the best ever ❤️

   Great food and service. One of the best hamburger in NYC making them unique w their home made pretzel bun. Pizza deep dish Detroit style fantastic and gluten free available? Incredible!

   We love Emily. One of the best burgers in the city. And the Detroit style pizza is a great sharing plate. Cozy village vibe and great service.

    TLDR: I really wanted to love Pizza Loves Emily, but if Emily really loved pizza (or burgers, or hot fries for that matter), she wouldn’t eat here — that is for sure. We started with the Caesar salad, which was actually quite good — crisp lettuce and a fresh, flavorful dressing. Unfortunately, that was the high point. Before we even got a chance to dig into the salad, our burgers were brought out — maybe three minutes later. I mentioned to the server that we had just gotten our starter, and he said “oh sorry,” but left the plates anyway. By the time we got to the burgers, they were soggy and barely warm. The fries had great seasoning but were ice cold. Our server checked on us once early on and then didn’t glance in our direction for another 45 minutes. No water refills, no check-in, nothing. The pacing and attentiveness were completely off. Disappointing experience overall.
