A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich).

Please note, there will be a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes for guests so we can fairly utilize our limited capacity. Our outdoor dining is enclosed with heaters that will keep you toasty! Thank you :)

The mimi pizza and roasted cauliflower were amazing and perfect for two for lunch! Our waiter was helpful, professional and extremely friendly.

The MVP is delicious and very garlic-y. The skinny marg was also good and they make a decent dirty martini. They do like to take your whole order at once tho so if you’re getting an app it probably will come out the same time or after your meal fyi which i don’t love. overall a great dinner spot!!

Andrew was the best waiter EVER and the Emmy Burger slapped, as it always does. The cheesy garlic sticks were also insaaaaaane. Can’t wait to come back!

I love coming here. Emily has mine (and my guests) favorite burger in NYC, always. One of my friend’s is kosher and got an Emmy Burger without cheese, and I couldn’t believe how delicious it still was. Andrew is also THE BEST WAITER ON THE PLANET!! Coming back as soon as I possibly can…. :) I love you guys !

The food is superb. Unbeatable Emmy burger and delicious pizza, the service is 10/10. It is a must in any visit to NY. Sadly, it was too noisy, by far. We left as soon as we ate, but we would have ordered a dessert in case of a less painful noise level. In any case, visit at least once in a lifetime.

THE BEST BURGER in NY city. We had dinner on our first night in NY and came again on our last night in NY to close a great vacation with a great food🥂. Service was something special and unique 👍💪

I love Dax from Armchair Expert. He and Monica rave about the burger so I came from Oregon to try it! It did not disappoint!
