Emilia's Crafted Pasta - St Katharine Docks
At Emilia’s all our pasta is made fresh every morning in our restaurant in full view of passers-by and served from our fully open kitchen. In true respect of Italian tradition, we use certified Italian produce and try our best to ensure no additives, artificial ingredients, preservatives or anything unnatural is in our food. We believe that food is much better when it’s 100% natural.
Our restaurant has a mixture of chef’s bar/counter seating (overlooking the open kitchen), window seating (overlooking our terrace and the marina), normal tables and an outdoor terrace (overlooking the marina).
P.S. We care for our people, our communities and the world around us. Please visit our website (www.emiliaspasta.com) if you would like to learn more about our approach to Sustainability.

Food is always outstanding and sitting outdoors now is even better.
Food was tasteless, a bit noisy. sitting inside was so hot no air cooling system.
Good food, small portion but with great taste. Nice ambient, try to book and sit outside if you want to absorve the location or inside if you more intimate. Overall, nice place to eat for couples or small group of friends.
Very good food, with stunning views into the harbour. Menu was limited but would highly recommend.
Attendance good but noise ambiance .
Good food and prices!
Second visit and once again the food was fabulous. Staff were attentive. The 4 hour ragu is divine
Great Location, small place with family atmosphere - food is authentic and great taste.
Service was very slow and we felt a bit neglected at times but food was very good and settings are beautiful!
Had a lovely meal last night, salads & pasta very good. Lovely position on St Katherines dock. The staff were attentive & pleasant. Would definitely recommend. Though would need to book.
Food very nice, service not so great…had eaten half our dinner by the time the side salads arrived. Took ages to get staff attention for a further drink & generally unwelcoming & disinterested server.
Nice simple menu, lovely pasta and all served by a really attentive team. Lovely location too by the dock.
Service and atmosphere was perfect. The sauce that came with our pastas tasted "canned", and not homemade.
Absolutely loved the food. Everything tasted so authentic and fresh. My only negative point of feedback would be how slow the service was, there was a table who arrived 15 minutes after us yet received their starters before us. We also ended up giving up on trying to order dessert because it was taking a long time to get our order taken. I would still 100% recommendation this place as the food was to die for, you should just go with expectations that it will take a while to get served.
Best pasta I’ve ever had. Lovely setting and amazing service
Great pasta! The service was good, waitress was quick and attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Amazing location by the Marina. Sat outside in the sun. Food is great, like a home cooked meal. Attentive waiters. Overall great experience!
The atmosphere, staff, food and just everything about Emilia’s was amazing. Will definitely be returning!
The pasta overall tasted very nice but they cook it al dente which was a bit harder than I would have liked but the pasta tasted nice with the sauce.
However the ice cream that I ordered was very frozen and not very nice to eat so I wouldn’t recommend getting that.
The best pasta outside of Italy itself. Highlights are the Cace e Pepe, the Carbonara and the fresh pesto all set in a lovely quaint venue looking out onto St Katherine’s docks. You will end up wanting more than one main due to their tastyness
If you like pasta then this is the restaurant quality pasta and surprisingly desserts in a fantastic location.
Loved it - food is excellent and location is great.
Prompt & efficient service. The best ravioli I've tasted. The tiramisu was mouth watering. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Beautiful view of the dock from the counter looking out the window. Excellent food and the wine I got to go with it was perfect.
Great value for money and great service too.
Can’t fault much with this place, although I think I would’ve appreciated the music to be less pop, more jazz or something to match the Italian vibe of the place. Otherwise, excellent experience overall.
I booked a table for a standard table as I preferred to sit opposite eachother. As the website offers different options for what type of table I made sure I booked the correct one.
I arrived 5 mins prior to my booking. The waitress told me that only the table by the kitchen/bar is available and is that ok. I said that I had booked a standard table and would rather sit on a normal table. She responded very rudely that ‘as I said that table is not available and that’s just what happens sometimes’. I responded ‘but as I specifically requested the standard table howcome it isn’t available. She got quite angry and gave me a lot of attitude saying ‘as I said the only option is the high table and that’s how it happens’. I completely understand that sometimes mistakes are made and our table clearly was not reserved but I found it a little upsetting to be spoken to in this manner and not be offered an apology for the mistake been made. The waitress made me feel very small and stupid for asking the question which ruined my experience a little.
The food was delicious and the other members of staff were polite. Food came quickly, and I enjoyed the overall experience apart from the beginning encounter. It was a bit awkward sitting up by the kitchen as I felt I couldn’t have a conversation without the whole kitchen hearing it!
It would be great if when people book a table it is actually reserved so when they arrive they get the table they are expecting, and if this is not possible staff apologise and try and offer alternatives I.e waiting for the table to become free.
Absolutely amazing food and service with great atmosphere!
Probably some of the best pasta I’ve had in London! Will definitely be back again soon. Very small restaurant so make sure you book.
AVOID EMILIAS PASTA. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND RUDE STAFF.
Booked for an anniversary meal and requested a table by the window as this looked like the nicest and most spacious area.
Understandably requests cannot always be accommodated but when we arrived, we were instead seated outside next to a lamppost with obstructs the table and prevents sitting across from each other. This was completely unromantic and we asked to move to another free table which meant we could sit opposite each other rather than to the side. Our request was refused supposedly due to a ‘reservation’, however, literally 5 seconds later a couple, without reservation, arrived and asked for the same table and were seated. This was incredibly annoying given the occasion and both our requests had been ignored.
When asking the waitress about this she was incredibly rude, told us if we don’t like it we can leave and then she snatched the menus away.
Luckily we were able to find a lovely restaurant around the corner called Bravas. The service here was amazing and they accommodated us last minute on a Saturday evening. I would highly recommend you to go to Bravas instead for much better service and high quality food. There is also a very nice wine bar next door.
Quite possibly the best pasta I have ever eaten in my life!
Honest nice Italian food for a good price in a beautiful spot.
Great value for money! Delicious food and lovely service too.
Good food, perhaps a little overpriced but location makes up for it.
1st time going here, and I was great! Delicious food, amazing location, cute and quaint restaurant, and friendly staff! Portion size was slightly underwhelming, but it was well priced and very tasty so I can’t complain! Had to wait a bit, but it wasn’t an unreasonable amount of time! 100% recommend!
Very friendly staff and tasty dishes. Nice to sit outside by the water too
The food was amazing and really transported me back to Bologna! I would just say that the portion size is a little on the small size and more would be better but otherwise great food!
Staff and food were absolutely lovely. Will 100% be going back.
Food was tasty and served quickly. Staff was nice.
Everything was fantastic - one of the best pastas and burratas that I have ever had!
The BEST pasta in London, hands down. Not sure there is a bad thing on the menu.
Excellent, delicious pasta , lovely small menu , if we are in the area again I would definitely recommend this place.
Can’t fault Emilias - the food is outstanding and lovely friendly service too. One of my all time favourite restaurants!
