Everything on the menu is thoughtfully constructed and perfectly prepared, and the wine list offers a lot of choice at every price point. Nina is an amazing server!
Everything was delicious! The ramp pesto pasta was amazing! If only ramps were in season year round, I would order this every time! The mussels were perfectly cooked and so succulent! I would recommend Emilia to everyone!
Such a nice place! Loved the decor of masonry and wood. The food was amazing. We got olives, foccacia, polenta with meatballs, and the vegetarian pasta choice. Definitely not disappointed to any degree. It was easy to find and in such a great locale. Must go!!
The food and service was excellent! The salmon, steaks and pork Milanese were delicious! Sides were all great too!
Service was top-notch!
I love this restaurant. The food is amazing, and the service is fantastic. The only thing I would change is the lighting. I wish the lights we dimmed a bit more.
Food and drinks were great as always and our server was great as well
Absolutely outstanding and the service was fantastic!
Our experience was back to the pre-Covid level. Excellent!
the most amazing food ever and wonderful service!
Emilia is always an exceptional food and service experience. Our server (Elissa) was outstanding and most hospitable, as well as incredibly helpful and knowledgeable in selecting the perfect Italian sparkling wine for us to enjoy with dinner. The GM is always welcoming and checked on us frequently. Only minor comment would be that when you make your reservation on OT, they ask if it is a special occasion. Usually it is not, but this time it was actually our anniversary and I did note that. Didn't expect anything special, but thought (since you asked) they would acknowledge the occasion. Otherwise, everything was perfect! Thank you!
Very disappointing. Second time is the last time. Appetizers are very plain. Nothing appealing. We skipped appetizers. My wife had the salmon. We eat sushi, so rare salmon isn’t scary, but this was very undercooked. No flavor. I mean none. I had the pork dish. It was okay. Just no flavor. Not bad, just flavorless. This is not an Italian restaurant. Not sure where it fits in.
Great service, atmosphere and food! We enjoyed it greatly.
The hostess and service was excellent. Very friendly. The food was fantastic. I had salmon and broccolini.
We love Emilia's for our special occasions, and Killion took such great care of our table. We missed hearing Italian music this time, but overall a great evening!
Cute décor, Sweet staff, and the food tastes wonderful. What more could we have asked for?
My wife's pasta (gnocchi) was a tad chewy/tough. This has never happened at Emilia and we are chalking it up to an isolated incident. Love this restaurant.
Six of my friends dined together, each of us had completed our vaccinations, so we had not table being offered a table together by the management. The staff was wonderfully accommodating. The food was quite possibly some of the best food we/I have eaten in Knoxville. It compares equally well with the food I have eaten a fine restaurants in many major cities of the world. The pasta was perfect. The salad (arugula with shaving of romano cheese and the most wonderful subtle lemon and olive oil dressing. Our main courses were perfectly cooked and presented, and the finale gelato (chocolate and pistachio) were fabulous, too. I/we can't wait to make a return visit.
This was our first "dining out" event since Covid. It was our "go to" favorite, but was so disappointed! I had already selected what I was going to have "my favorites" and left the restaurant underwhelmed....not sure what happened, but all of our favorites lacked "something"... even the front desk and staff seemed "off" - we probably won't return for a while...sad.
Food was incredible and service was excellent!! Highly recommend the butterscotch dessert!!!
Fabulous as usual... One of the few outstanding dining experiences in Knoxville.
Celebrated a birthday at one of our favorite restaurants in Knoxville. As always, amazing!
Extremely good Italian food, amazing server. 10/10 everything.
The food is always delicious. The service was excellent. It was a pleasant surprise because so many restaurants are struggling with staffing theses days. Thank you for a lovely night out!
The food is overrated for the price. We ordered the carbonara and Bolognese pasta and they both needed something bright or acidic to cut through all the butter. The pasta itself did not have the soft and chewy texture characteristic to handmade pasta (tasted like regular store bought stuff). I also wish that the salad was fresh, instead of cooked and wilted.
Great food! Great service!
So good! I had a delicious Pinot Grigio as well as mussels and pasta. All was yummy!
If you have food allergies like I do, Emilia will accommodate in spades. I have a difficult collection of allergies including: gluten, dairy, soy, tomatoes and eggs. Without question, the chef and our server were gracious and happy to revamp what I selected, if needed. I started with the Roasted Beets with Pistachio Butter which was out of this world, followed by the Oysters which were also fabulous. They have a lovely collection of wines too. We found out later in the meal that the chef, sommelier and one other person are from the Blackberry Farms Resort. They did not disappoint.
We had a party of 6 and everyone was exceptionally pleased with their dinner, wine and service. Bon Appetit!
Wonderful birthday celebration.
A lovely place for a date night! The food was great and the service was exceptional.
The experience was outstanding. Food was delicious, all staff masked.
Delicious & great value
Delicious- loved the fresh pasta and Bolognese sauce.
Everything we had was great! From cocktails to the entrees we loved it all.
Consistently good quality food. Service was great. I will bring my own wine next time. I think theirs is overpriced. The Tiramisu was a little disappointing. Overall for ambiance and food quality I am really like Emilia’s.
Great food and service! Always our first choice when we are in Knoxville!
The food was just not good at all. We left and went to a different restaurant after our horrible meal.
Delicious homemade pasta, artichoke fritters that made my artichoke loving wife smile with glee, excellent house wine and great, prompt service. What's not to love?
A consistent gem. Appetizers always amazing and homemade pasta
Food was excellent and the service was very good. Manager decanted our bottle of wine for us and chatted a bit about the wine as he did. Menu had really interesting choices, riffing on traditional themes of Italian food.
It was first out meal inside a restaurant with dear friends in over a year. Could not have asked for a better experience. The food was outstanding as always and our wines were the perfect accompaniment. (Thank you, Keith!) Note to those that may be intimidated by a wine list - the staff is so knowledgeable and will help you choose something that compliments your meal. Don’t be afraid to ask for a recommendation! Matt and his entire team continue to knock it out of the park with some of the best food to be found in Knoxville.
