Emeril's Fish House
Discover an exciting new menu featuring notable additions including Salt and Pepper Crisp Calamari, Grilled Octopus, Sweet Corn Hush Puppies, fresh fish off the grill, fried seafood platters and so much more. The restaurant features a raw bar where diners can get a front row seat watching the restaurant’s expertly trained chefs preparing each day’s selections straight from the shell. There’s even an homage to Chef Emeril’s New Orleans roots with classic shrimp and grits and fried chicken – not to mention tender, flaky House-Made Beignets for dessert.
Will not go back. Made a reservation, got there 10 minutes early and greeted warmly and were told that it would just be a few minutes to get our table ready. We decided to get a drink at the bar and told the host we would be there. 15 minutes went by and we checked on the status of the table and were again told that they were getting it ready and would just be a few minutes more. Another 15 minutes passed, we went back again to check and were told that they had called our name 3 times and they ended up giving our table away. They did finally accommodate us, so at this point we told the waitress that we were going to the 8:00 show (it was 7:10 by now). We were served 25 minutes later (after the table seated next us who sat after us already got their food.) We rushed to eat, were not checked on until we had to leave and honestly the food was overpriced and average. Very disappointed.
Everything was very good, the wait was long for the amount of people
Excellent service from Greta. Host stopped by and chatted with us. Greta was helpful in advising us on our food and drink choices. Food was served with appropriate timing and quality was very good. One of my husband's side dishes was not served and we could not get anyone's attention to ask for it. Someone should have checked in with us after the food was served. I indicated on our Open Table reservation that it was my husband's birthday and also informed the host after we were seated but it was not acknowledged in any way. Although some of the small touches were missing we would still return to this restaurant.
Caesar salad with 7oz lobster tail was delicious. Price was very reasonable.
Food was delicious and our server was great. Love it there have been there many times and will be back.
Food and service were outstanding
The waitress Jen was excellent!!
Althouth Emerill has his name on the restaurant and some of the standard food items from some of his other restaurants, this restaurant lacks the same quality service. The hostess initially states that out table would be ready at our reservation time, in approximately 15 to 20 minutes. My wife went to restroom upon hearing this. 2 minutes later our table is ready but I requested to wait for my wife to be seated, expecting the table to still be ready when she came back in 5 minutes. The other hostess seated someone in our place. This restaurant was more than half empty but we were rushed by the waitstaff. The waitstaff failed to completely set up our table. It lacked salt and pepper shakers as well as the lit candle. My wife noticed the lack of a candle as every other table had one. To make matters worse the waitress proceeded to put all of the missing on our table as we were paying the bill, as she was setting up table for next guests. We were still seated there. It ws obvious that the staff works for thr casino not the restaurant. The food is good, not great. Would I eat here again or recommend this restaurant no.
We were sat a few minutes after scheduled reservation time which was not a problem however it was ten minutes before waitstaff approached the table. This slow service continued for the whole experience. Slow service can be forgiven if the food is fantastic, but it was just okay. We ordered two appetizers and two entrees and all were fine, just not great enough to keep me coming back to this restaurant. Additionally, we picked an 8:15 reservation so we could enjoy the piano bar portion of the evening as listed on the website however this was not really a "piano bar" experience so much as a guy sat down at the piano and played and sang quietly. I am not sure he was even able to be heard if you were more than 15 feet from the piano.
Well the night was great. Fantastic show and Ray even won money at the casino so we decided to go have dinner at Emerils Fish House. I ordered a burrata and heirloom tomato salad. (They ran out of heirloom tomatoes so it was mostly cherry tomatoes) it was still good. I ordered Halibut and Ray ordered a jumbo crab cake. We waited over an hour after they took my salad and nothing .We asked if there was a problem and the waitress returned promising that they are working on it. Long story short we asked for the check for what we ate so we could leave. That was harder than getting the food. The manager approached us at the front desk and without hearing the whole story he blew us off and walked away. The asst manager was much nicer and asked us to come back and give them another chance. Hmmmm. @Emerillagasse may want to send his team to check on this place.
We are sticking with Bobby Flay and Michael Symon when we visit restaurants of TV chefs.
Seated 20 minutes later than reservation at a dark, snall table 10 feet from gambling hallway queue. Table was wet, could barely read menu. Zero ambiance (no viewing of chefs preparing as per website), noisy, Waited 50 minutes for food. Oysters were good, prosecco was good, calamari tender, entrees a bit sloppy, Emeril coffee okay, creme brûlée awful. Not a beignet to be had either! Emeril has left the building! This is not a destination restaurant. Dreary casino reeks like an ashtray. First time and definitely the last.
Food was very good but some of the portions were a little small for the value.
Food and service was top notch. Will definitely return on our next visit to the casino.
This is the second time we have eaten at Emeril's Fish House and we enjoy it very much. It was my fiance's birthday and they brought him dessert with a candle in it, which was very nice. The excellent food for the value is second to none. I would highly recommend it. Thank you.
First time to eat there, and the food was tasty and rich. I found it interesting that there was one waitress taking drink and food orders, two woman serving the food, and one manager. It appeared to me that lean six sigma did not work as efficiently as they may have wanted.
People had to wait for their checks, refills on drinks, and there wasn't single person walking around asking how your dining experience was.
The atmosphere and the quality of the food made up for their short staffing issues.
My husband had the Chilean sea bass and I had the seafood paella....they were both delicious. We were seated immediately and enjoyed the whole experience.
Dinner was wonderful best Halibut I have had in a long time! We were dining with friends but felt rushed by our server Greta. She was pleasant but kept Interrupting us it became annoying. We were told we had a fantastic server. She was on point except for the above.
Special thanks to chef for being mindful of my coconut allergy
All in all great dinner
Very nice decor/ambience, very good service, food is good but not at the level I usually associate with Emerill’s
Emeril's fish house is great. The food was great, the prices are good and the service was good. Overall a really good experience.
Have eaten there several times since its opening and have always enjoyed it, although the last time we were not pleased, because of the way my dish was prepared. Even after I instructed the waitress on how I wanted the meal done it was not acceptable. Advised her and the restaurant manager of our disappointment. I was offered another meal to replace it, but my wife had already eaten her dish and we did not want to wait for another meal to be prepared. I had her wrap the dish in order that I could give it to someone in my family and we departed. Very disappointed by the way it was handled.
Kris and I eat here at least twice a month because we enjoy the food and service so much. Highly recommend giving it a try.
This was my second visit to Emeril's Fish House, the first being with my son and the second for a dream date with my husband. We were given a table-booth combination which coincidentally is what we both prefer. Because the restaurant isn't right on top of the casino floor, it is a little quieter than the other restaurants there. Our server, Andrew, took care of us as if we were the only guests that night. While I allowed a good amount of funds for this upscale restaurant, the total bill came far UNDER budget. Nice surprise. The food was cooked perfectly and the coffee was superb.
The wait for the food was over an hour. They were trying to say someone called out sick. It was quite embarrassing. I would never go back.
We have been to the Fodh House several times and have thoroughly enjoyed the food. The sheer variety of the menu makes it a wonderful alternative to the Chop House across the casino floor.
We had the same waitress as our last visit. Very sweet lady with excellent service. Sorry I can’t remember her name. She got our order perfect ! Will definitely return & hope we get her again.
This was our first time to Emeril's Fish House and it did not disappoint. I had the grilled octopus salad and for a special that evening they had grilled Chilean sea bass, both were absolutely outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant and would visit again given the opportunity.
Thank you for a delicious dinner. Our server Kim was great. She greeted us with a smile and was attentive. She was the friendliest person we met that night. Hotel customer service was awful but Kim at the Fish House was wonderful.
The restaurant was very busy because of a concert at the casino that night. We had a reservation and were seated a few minutes late. The Maitre'D handled several less than patient clients with calm and professionalism.
Had a very nice meal here. Friendly and attentive staff. The corn and crab chowder and the manhattan clam chowder are delicious as was the salmon and grilled sea bass special. Would definitely recommend to others and eat here again.
We had a lovely dinner at Emeril's . The calamari and crab/corn soup were amazing but the BBQ shrimp appetizer was just ok. Shrimp and grits were good but the shrimp slightly overdone. If we go again, we would try some other choices on the menu. Overall, a nice experience.
My partner and I enjoyed our dinner here. Some of the positives were the food and service. The portions were well beyond what you may think a "fine dining" place would serve. The wedge salad is definitely something to share!! My Chilean sea bass was super delicate, and my partner's Paella was overflowing with fish, not all rice. There were some things that could use improvement. Unless you sit "in the back", you are subject to being squished on a long bench sitting area, and having people parade by as they walk to said "back" dining room. Dress code was not enforced - people showed up in too-short jean shorts or cut offs. And I hate to sound like a snob, but this is billed as fine dining - get a babysitter for your rambunctious screaming toddler. This was an overall lovely experience and we will be back for more, keeping in mind to specifically request the back dining area.
Very fresh. The raw clams made you feel like you were next to the ocean.
Only regret: No beignets. Bring back the beignets.
Always happy with the Fish House
We celebrated our Anniversary. It was out first time dining there. We each ordered soup as a starter and both were very good and the portions were generous. I ordered the crab cakes, which were awesome. My husband had the scallops and shrimp, also amazing. For dessert we shared banana cake and the chocolate lava cake...Yum! I had enough food to take some home for the next day. A truly memorable meal.
We were welcomed in and requested some quiet area which they accommodated immediately.
The service was great and the waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu.
We both had a seafood entree which was seasoned to our taste. Portions were significant that we did skip dessert
Great service and great food. The Corn and Crab chowder was delicious as well as the Calamari.
The steaks were cooked to perfection! We will definitely be back.
Grilled octopus appetizer was cold and slimy...nothing to do with grilled anything.
Chocolate Lava Cake dessert seemed like a microwave coffee mug brownie with a scoop of cheap vanilla? ice cream on top.
Great food, great service, and we did not have to wait!
Was our first time at the Fish House, it was excellent! Our server was Cindy and was fantastic! My wife had the Striped Bass and I had the Sea Bass!! Excellent, Excellent dinner. It was a great dinner and great atmosphere for our 16th Anniversary!!
The food was excellent and the service was great. I had a baked potato that was a little undercooked but not that much to take away from the meal.
