Embers, inaugurado en la primavera de 2004, es una churrasquería estadounidense contemporánea con un toque especial. Esta churrasquería ofrece los platillos clásicos junto con selecciones completas de pescados y mariscos y sushi en una atmósfera cálida y atrayente. Embers, como su nombre lo indica, evoca la calidez y el confort de un fuego encendido, de las antorchas de piedra apiladas y de los farolillos de gas del exterior y de las velas que brillan intensamente en el interior. We are mature adults who were seated at a circular booth/table which was not at all convenient for ingress/egress and the server had a hard time to serve the individual who was seated at the furthermost point. Additionally, we were quite disappointed with the quality of food for the expensive price. We had only been to Embers once previously and were looking forward to our repeat visit. Sadly, it did not live up to our expectations.

The sliced tomato salad is a must have. Tried the branzino with golden beets. Outstanding. Topped it off with the butterscotch pudding which is fab. Another winning meal!

I have been to Embers many times before and was always delighted by the food and service. However, this time the service was lacking. Initially our server was very attentive; however, as the evening went on the service declined. I don't want to be overly critical of our server - there appeared to be something going on? a staff shortage?? At times there were no servers or other wait staff visible in the dining room. We waited a long time for our water glasses to be refilled, I still doubt that I was served the correct entree (or maybe it just wasn't prepared correctly), no manager stopped at our table to check in and see how our meal was (this was a first - to not have a manager visit the table), I was given a carton to box my dessert (instead of the dessert being boxed for me), etc. These are examples that come to mind - overall the service was disappointing and not up to the usual standards.

Known as a steak and seafood restaurant, Embers has other very tasty entrees. My wife enjoyed the Amish Roasted Chicken Breast. She also had the amazing Baby Iceberg Wedge salad. I treated myself to a ten-piece Sushi Roll special (spicy Tuna, Salmon, Avocado, etc.) and a scrumptious order of Baby Rack Ribs (Southwest style) which came with Homemade Mac & Cheese. Yum! To finish off the meal we split an order of Oreo Stuffed Donuts! (See photo) Our server, Nick, was terrific!

Had filet medium rare, Boursin scalloped potatoes, onion straws, and brussel sprouts, all perfectly prepared. Service from Nick was outstanding. The manager, Bobby, also stopped by and spoke with us. Embers is a true rival to Ruby restaurants.
