Opened in the spring of 2004, Embers is a contemporary American Steakhouse with a twist. Classic Steakhouse offerings along with complete selections of seafood & sushi are available in a warm inviting atmosphere.
Embers, as the name implies, evokes the warmth and comfort of a glowing fire; from the stacked-stone torch and gas lanterns outside to the glowing candles within. Black & White photographs of Cincinnati landmarks and celebrities create a sense of history and place, while large oil canvasses and vibrant floral arrangements punctuate the rooms with color.

Embers Ratings and Reviews
We dine at Embers at least once a week, and it’s always the same - outstanding. Service is exceptional and consistent - in large part because the staff keeps notes on our preferences - everything from our favorite tables (we have more than one), to the way we like our steaks prepared, right down to how we like our cocktails.
The evening was very nice with one exception. Our 2 guests ordered steak and when it was delivered - it was well done (not to their liking) Our waitress who was very attentive and good took them back and replaced them. That left the two of us to eat our meal(while hot) in front of our guests. When their food was finally delivered - it was hot and done to their liking as it should have been originally.
As we were celebrating a birthday - out waitress brought out a phenominal dessert.
Our waitress couldn't have been more accommodating. The manager was also - though he gave some excuse when it wasn't necessary to have an excuse.
We usually eat in the bar, but decided to eat in the main dining room for our celebration. For the price, it was a little disappointing not to be wowed immediately.
Excellent, as always. We've literally never had a bad meal or poor service at Ember's. This visit was to celebrate my husband's birthday. Embers and our waiter (I believe his name is Stan) made sure everything about our meal and dining experience was perfect. We're always greeted warmly and made to feel special at this restaurant....and the food is perfection. In a day when so many restaurants are struggling to provide consistency, Ember's truly stands out and above the others. We'll continue to look forward to many more meals and special occasions celebrated at Ember's!
The awesome service of "Captain" Kirk made our Thanksgiving Diner this year very special!
TEMPURA ROCK SHRIMP & SHIITAKE MUSHROOMS and ROTISSERIE CHICKEN SPRING ROLLS we shared - which were an excellent choice to start and to take the opportunity to thank all of you for being together .. and if it is just another day!
As entrees we ordered both the PAN SEARED FILET MIGNON - Less is more says a lot to me and it tasted definitely like so much more and it was, just wonderful.
My wife and I “always" like to save some room for desert and definitely for a cappuccino or espresso, that evening we accompanied it with CLASSIC CRÈME BRÛLÉE and HOUSE MADE ICE CREAM & SORBET, and we decided “finally” both not to share! :-)
Well, we feel this is the place in Cincinnati we don't have to think twice to go. Happy Holidays!
Great dinner destination! Service is always excellent and the food is delicious. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly medium rare and the mushroom risotto is always a taste treat!
We especially like the quiet atmosphere in which we can have a nice conversation over a glass of wine and a great meal.
Good food good service.
Tempura rock shrimp is our family favorite but last couple times it doesn’t taste the best. Shrimp didn’t have tempura coating and the sauce is not the same taste , texture is mushy, overall was not good tempure rock shrimp we were used to.
Other food we have ordered was very good.
We have always enjoyed great service at Embers but were disappointed Sunday night. We booked an early reservation because we had my elderly mother with me. As we arrived, the rain began to bucket down. The valet parkers were not out and no one did anything to help us get into the restaurant. The receptionists were in no hurry to get us to our table. The waiter though pleasant, seemed inexperienced, brought drinks that were not correct and then bickered about it with us, did not bring bread, which is a nice feature of a meal at the Embers. The food was as good as usual, which was nice. I was a little embarrassed that I had invited my relatives to a meal at a restaurant that provided less than optimal service.
In town for the weekend. Six-thirty reservation on a Saturday. Got right in. Very nice ambiance. Some people dressed very nice, others in jeans. A decent amount of children, surprising, due to high prices. Had rotisserie chicken spring rolls for appetizers. Two small rolls, cut in half. Tasted great, pricy at 10 bucks. Wife had a beet salad and really enjoyed it. I had a California roll. It was ok, but at around 8 dollars I wouldn't get it again. My wife ordered their specialty fillet which came with mushrooms and a couple other things on the plate. I think it was about $35. It was 6 oz which was perfect for her. She really enjoyed it. I had 14oz strip steak, cooked perfectly. I added "toppers", mushrooms and bernaise sauce. It was about $55. I took about half home. It was one of the best steaks I have ever had. We shared potatoes and spinach, both excellent! Service was also excellent. Plenty of staff on the floor to fill drinks and anything else you need. With two soft soft drinks and no desert it cost $150, before tip. Pricy, but worth it for special occasions. Also, on the way out we passed the bar. The Buckeye game had just ended and the bar was hopping! I'm not sure if there is a bar menu or specials, but it's probably worth checking out.
