   second visit to Ember and both times the main courses were fantastic however i was underwhelmed with the deserts and feel they could be improved particularly with the addition of cream/ice cream as an accompaniment However the ambience was fab and our waitress Emily was exceptional with her knowledge of the dishes and her attentiveness

   Location overlooking the River Wear adds to the pleasure of the venue. Great food. Would certainly return
