We arrived at 12 noon for an anniversary lunch, the high chair we requested was already at the table. We purposefully picked a quiet time as we had a 7 month d with us. Denis provide excellent service and was very friendly with the baby. Service was quick and the food excellent. Love the fact the cuisine changes every month, this month it was Brazilian and we will definitely be back next month for Spanish......

I went with girlfriend on 8-6-25 Ww both ordered chicken Sunday dinner It came and was the cheapest part of the chicken a leg with skin on It came with pepper corn gravy the roast potatoes were anemic should be golden brown We asked for bill and it arrived with a 10% service charge added😡😡😡don't they get paid to do a job same as me🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ It said it was discretionary to pay but our server never asked if we wanted to pay it she just added it to machine 😡😡😡😡

This was a first visit to Ember which had been recommended by friends. It did not disappoint. The restaurant was busy and bustling. The staff were all very pleasant and attentive and we were served promptly and efficiently. The food was excellent (Sunday lunch) and the portions very generous. The price was slightly on the high side but we felt we got our money’s worth. Overall it was a great experience and we certainly will go again.

Superb food, location and staff. A massive asset to Sunderland. Hopefully onwards and upwards for a gem of a place.

An amazing dining experience. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and made our Anniversary dinner very special as they went the extra mile. With a menu that changes every month we will definitely be returning.

A little more pricey than some places but worth it. The food was tasty and of good quality. This is my third visit and I’ve enjoyed every meal I’ve had. Staff were lovely and responsive.
