We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our meal. The service was fantastic and the food was exceptional. A real taste sensation. Every single dish we ordered was perfectly balanced and seasoned to perfection. Our waitress was fantastic and made some brilliant recommendations with the Tapas and the side dishes for each meal. We will definitely be returning.

We had a lovely visit for my birthday 🎂. Good would have been 5 stars except the bean stew was a bit disappointing. All the other dishes were excellent. It was very busy but we were served promptly and the waiting staff were excellent.

We have now tried be Malaga menu of the month 3 times. It was fabulous every time. Attentive staff, amazing atmosphere and can’t wait to try next months special menu.

Fabulous, as always 🥰. Appreciate the window seat with view. Particularly enjoyed the Spanish tapas.

Staff were really attentive and friendly - made to feel very welcome We had a table in the conservatory, the view is a work in progress but we didn’t mind it was good to see how the work on the bridge is going The food was fantastic - we ordered 8 tapas plates - almost managed to eat all of it ! It was really tasty and good value. Especially the Spanish omelette - the best we have had The ambiance and decor are both excellent Really enjoyed our meal/time at Ember - thank you

My wife and I visited yesterday (24/7/24) for a date night meal. The atmosphere and decor in the restaurant were lovely, and we were seated at a table with a beautiful view over the river. We ordered six tapas dishes — all of them were absolutely delicious — and shared a very tasty dessert. My wife enjoyed a couple of mocktails, while I had a couple of delightful beers. But the real standout was the service: every member of staff was friendly, attentive, and clearly knew their stuff. Great value for money too. We’ll definitely be back. Lovely spot. Nice... 🤌

First time visit to Ember, and it didn’t disappoint! We opted for the Sunday roast, and it was one of the best I’ve eaten. The pink beef was delicious, pink, thick and tender with a slight char which added to the flavour. We shared the Spanish cheesecake, which was also delicious. Portions were great, but I did mean we were truly stuffed after only once course, hence we shared a dessert. I’ll certainly return, and hope to see them branch out closer to where we live in Durham 🙏
