The tables were dirty, bartenders were rude and our table was not reserved. We had to wait until someone was done before we could get an actual table.
Everything was really nice just they weren’t ready the brunch was 10-3 my reservation was 10:30 and I left at 1 and they where still setting up maybe better planning would have made the experience way better
Crazy night with cheerleader tryouts so service was extremely slow. Food was decent for the price except for the chicken sandwich which was like sawdust. The manager did speak to us after we discussed cancelling our order since we had tickets for a show and the food was delayed over an hour. She was very professional and did comp a round of drinks and offered to remove the chicken sandwich from our bill.
They didn’t have our open table reservation when we checked in. We were one of the early ones in at 6 pm. It took almost an hour to get out appetizers... which some were cold... then a loud dance contest started on the patio. The waitress finally took my dinner order at about 7:10... she then put my dinner order on another check for my party... won’t be going back..
Buffet could be faster for price
Food was good but SO LOUD you could not converse which really put a damper on our evening. We did appreciate our helpful waitress who got our food out quickly so we could get to the theater on time. This might be a fun bar scene but as a dinner venue the patio at least is not enjoyable. Perhaps on a weeknight or inside it would be better, but I will try my luck elsewhere.
I had a birthday dinner planned for a friend. We get to the restaurant, balloons, gifts and cake in hand. We tried opening the door, LOCKED. Lo and behold, the restaurant was closed for a staff meeting. No words can convey how angry we were. We also saw another group of 6 friends who also made reservations on OpenTable, standing outside wondering where they were now going to eat.
What kind of restaurant does that??? They should be removed from the openTable list, this is not professional behavior. I have been spreading the word to friends not to patronize this establishment. Absolutely disrespectful to the public.
After arriving on time for our 630 reservations we were sat quickly, it took 15 min to receive our drinks & after 45 minutes did not receive our appetizers & the waitress told us it would be another 30 minutes. The manager claimed it was due to high volume because of the concert, however there were plenty of empty tables inside and out, the bar was far from full & there was not a line or wait to get in. Poor excuses, poor service we paid for our one beer & left.
Great service. Good food and very accommodating. Looking forward to coming back for happy hour.
I wouldnt say Yes & i wouldn't say no it would be a big Maybe. Obviously it was booked to capacity but where they had us seating was horrible. Crunch up under the outside bar with another 3 tables which was another group. No type of moving space for what we paid. I was trying to enjoy it. Can do much about rain just have to take things into consideration.
It was my birthday celebration. Everything was amazing
Great experience for my birthday brunch with family and friends! Definitely coming back
Brunch was very expensive and little food was offered. They list it as a buffet which it is but then offer very little compared to many other buffets I have been to. Would not recommend for brunch
The service here was amazing. The waiter periodically checked on us to make sure we were doing ok. The music was a little too loud for my liking being that we were sitting in the lounge area but overall my friends and I had a wonderful time.
Pre Concert dinner
Loved the deck & music outside. Food we received was ok. Beef skewers were great. Spinach & feta flatbread lacked feta. The bruschetta lacked flavor. I would love to say the meal got better, but it took an hour to get appetizers so we didn’t bother with a meal.
The problem was service & lack of management. We were greeted by a hostess who told us that our table was on the patio labeled with our name. She then pointed in the direction for us to go. I found that odd, but we found our table easily. It took 10 minutes to be greeted by a server & she said she would be with us shortly. A different server came & told us that only 2 servers were taking care of the entire patio by themselves....on a Friday night at 6pm. She took our drink order & then took more than 10 minutes to bring them back. We ordered 3 appetizers. After 30 minutes she stopped back by to say the cook said they were coming right up. 15 minutes later we asked what was going on. She said the kitchen had stopped taking orders because they were so busy. I walked inside to see how busy they were only to Find that less than half the tables were full. The patio was only half full as well & the tables around us had already eaten. They had ordered shortly before us.
At this point I just believed she forgot to enter our order and was blaming the kitchen. My boyfriend went inside to the bar to ask the bartender and stood there for 5 minutes without even being acknowledged. As he did this our order came out. She told me that the manager would be giving us a discount. I told her I didn’t care about a discount. I was just hungry! We are quickly and asked For the bill as we had a concert to attend. The discount we received was for one drink and she added a gratuity.....for 2 people!!! We paid the bill and left. On the way out we asked if the manager was available. She asked which one because there were 3. None of them spoke to us at the table or as we were leaving
We had a great time, thank you for
Good service, good happy hour!!!
Beware that, at least on Wednesday, that it is more of a club thing, not great for dinner.
Celebrated my 21st birthday and i had a good time and the music was great
Ember is NOT a restaurant; it is a BAR that serves bar food only. This is not clearly indicated on their website. Very disappointed when we arrived, as we were looking for a good, enjoyable meal. It is a dark, dingy bar.
Will def be back for just brunch and celebrate an event with friends again.
It was exactly what I was hoping for! everything was set up perfectly and the look on my baby's face was priceless and so with it, thank you.
Really was surprised how good this Brunch was. The food selection was extensive and delicious. The atmosphere was great. Only issue was the check in arrival process is clunky and inefficient. You have to prepay at the door and then get an arm band. Before you prepay you have several packages to choose from. Just food, food or various drink options. This makes every person stop and shop the choices, pay and then get tagged. The entire time we were there there was a long line to go through the process. Very slow and not cool. Afterwards it's fine. Seems it would make more sense to seat people and have the server sell them the packages and band them. That line is a real pain in the rear.
A final note, the omelette guy DC was amazing!!! Great service made us feel like family. Loved it, cant wait to go back. Just hope they fix the line by adding another station or selling at the table.
My friends and I would always come to Ember for Wine Down but we had never gone for Sunday Brunch. But boy were we missing out ! Sunday Brunch is amazing !!! $30 all you can eat breakfast buffet and unlimited mimosas with different juices available (I dislike orange juice so this made me extra happy). The buffet food was very good and they even had an omelet station and a waffle station. They had great biscuits and gravy and the red velvet waffle was to die for ! Catch me there every Sunday from now on !! Ps they do add 20% tip upfront when you pay for brunch but they were very attentive and were always bringing new bottle of champagne and clearing our dirty plates.
I reserved a table for a birthday and when I went to the bathroom, a random guy sat at our table and refused to leave. Security accused me of lying about my reservation and allowed the guy to sit at my table until I could show proof of my reservation. It was handled completely unprofessional and I would not recommend Ember to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion.
The place was great, food was good however the buffet food was a little cold so we ended just sticking with the omelette and waffle station. Service was great!
The food wasn’t bad I think the omelette and the sausage links were my favorite thing.. idk what that sweet potatoe mush was or the other mush that was in the warmers but I definitely wasn’t a fan of the choices in the hot food side. There really wasn’t much to choose from and I didn’t know what half of the stuff even was. The host could have explained where and what everything is. The wait staff could have been more friendly and helping... since my party didn’t buy mimosas we had to get up and walk to the bar every time we wanted a refill on water I thought that was ridiculous... the wait staff were walking around making sure people had champagne and juice for their mimosas so I didn’t see why they couldn’t do the same for us when it came to our water pitcher especially because 20 percent gratitudy is added on the admission. Also the waffle station only had one working waffle maker which made the line ridiculously long. I think they could of had better music on and a little bit louder it would have definitely been great to have good music playing since the atmosphere is so cozy.
I Made a Reservation On Open Table, In Addition To Calling the Restaurant In Advance, and When we Got There we Were advised we Had To Sit Outside, In the Florida Summer, because the Inside Was Reserved For a Party. The Food Was Good, But Wasnt Hot, and our Check Was Brought With our Dinner...Which Seemed Dismissive. I Ordered a “Double” Vodka and Was Charged For 2 Seperate Drinks. The Manager Was Courteous, But I Wouldnt ReVisit Or Recommend This Restaurant.
Sadly, our group of 8 had a very poor experience. After making reservations with OpenTable for a 5:45pm dinner, we arrived to find the only seating available was outdoors due to a private event indoors. The music was so loud, that no conversation could be heard. Thankfully, the waitress, upon our request, did turn it down to a more tolerable level- although still difficult to hear the other end of the table. We were the only table on the patio for the first 15 minutes and got our order in during that time. Imagine our irritation when after almost an hour (over 45mins) from the time our waitress took our order, the food finally arrived...but only for some. My husbands food was the last to arrive at 7pm. In order for us to make the showtime, he was forced to rush through his dinner. I wish that timing was the only issue, but some of the dishes came out incomplete (missing toppings and sauces) and some just weren’t that tasty. Our waitress wasn’t great at communicating what was going on either. I was really surprised given the timing of our food and the lack of presentation that a manager didn’t bother to stop by or even comp my husbands meal. So unfortunately, what started out as a return trip in the making- turned into: we will not be returning anytime soon (-not just my husband and I, but the whole party).
Ember was ok. The food was better than expected but the menu was inaccurate (listed two sides per entree) and the server seemed unclear on what sides and dishes were actually available. Great location before an Amway show but can’t say we’ll gl back when there are so many other options.
I love coming to Ember, especially for Friday Happy Hour and Wine Down Wednesdays! The venue is unique, and elegant but also upbeat. The food is also very good, better than average bar food. Last but not least I love the staff, they are always accommodating along with working with a smile even when it's busy.... Kat Busche is the best BTW!
Everything started fine and the food was delicious, but our waitress basically disappeared for forty-five minutes and two of our dishes didn't arrive. We ended up asking several other waiters for a manager. He came to the table to apologize and personally brought the last parts of our order to the kitchen as well as take the charge off of our bill. We waited for thirty more minutes for the rest of our food and our waitress came back to apologize for her earlier disappearance. When we asked where our food was she responded, "Oh, the kitchen is closed, but we ran out of [one of our forgotten dishes]." We told her that her manager personally took the order and then asked what happened the first time and that if they had run out, why were we not informed? She admitted she forgot to write it down and then "got busy." Several people in my party have a history in the restaurant business and this was just ridiculous. We ended up getting a new waitress at the end of our stay and she was great for the ten or so minutes we had her.
Service was impeccable! The hostess and the entire team really delivered! The buffet wasn’t as good as The last time I went in March. Bacon was undercooked and I felt like the options weren’t as impressive. Drinks were delicious and it’s a great price for what you get! The gentlemen at the omlette and grill station was kind and gave awesome service as well. Will be back again soon! Thank you for a great day at Ember!
The only thing I did not like was the outside seating fans were not all on. We live in Florida with 100 degree weather, would be nice to feel some breeze coming through the outside dining area
The food was served buffet style and was sadly not very good at all. The omelet station, which was supposed to open at 12:00pm did not open until much later. They had tags for food on the buffet for food that wasn't being served. For the value ($30) for unlimited food and mimosas/sangria, it's still a deal; but if you're looking for something gourmet or even interesting this is not the spot.
We had a great time at ember, just a piece of advice: if you want to sit inside as opposed to outside make sure you say so in the notes of your reservation. We we’re originally plotted to sit outside and I had to speak to a manager to get moved to a table inside.
I had my 35th birthday brunch here on Sunday and I was very happy. This was my first time at Ember and they now have a lifetime bruncher! The drinks, food, service, and price was amazing. I loved sitting out on the patio and hanging out with my girls listening to the live music.
I would recommend this location for a get together. We were surprised when we had one additional person come and were initially told wet could not have another chair. We were ultimately given a chair but it was made clear to us that it was the last chair. We were made to feel like we should be grateful that we got it. Other than that hiccup in customer service we had a great experience.
Amazing great everything
