EMBER features a cocktail program focusing on classics done in creative and modern style.
The wine list features about 100 wines, 15 of which are available by the glass, including diverse selections from Spain, New Zealand, Austria, Napa Valley and more.
The space is designed by Mark Diaz from MAD Design, the 3,200-square-foot indoor/outdoor space will be inspired by the streamline moderne-style of art deco architecture and furniture.
lasagna was terrible, in general I didn't like it and the service was terrible! impressive ... the empty restaurant and lousy service!
Our second visit and the food was delicious. Not a huge menu selection so not a place we would go often. Nice atmosphere and good service.
There's a reason you can get a table at the last minute on a Friday night - the food has gone downhill fast. Starters were mediocre in concept and flavor. Ribs were nothing special. Duck entree was grossly overcooked (which, for $39, should never happen)..it was edible only because of the toppings. Didn't realize I'd need to specify "medium or medium rare" when ordering something that should always be cooked that way, instead of being grey throughout. They slice it for you so why did no one check before serving it? Couldn't complain because no one checked on us during our meal. Couldn't bring ourselves to stay for dessert. Such a shame, because we are huge fans of the chef and love Alter but it's a totally different experience there (both food & svc).
Thought the food was delicious but overpriced especially the drinks... if they are going to serve drinks at that price, they should be more judicious in their pourings and not such small glasses... so would not go there for drinks or you will be paying a fortune for a swig.
Once again, and as dependable as clockwork, Kilgore knocks it out of the park. Food, service, ambiance superb, as always.
Masters of the wood grill, amazing service, top quality meat
After a rocky start and a lack of service and responsiveness, the Maître quickly made everything better. Gustavo was a star for the day. Chef Kilgore was on sight so the food was spot on but it was really the recovery by Gustavo that made our day. I was with my 80+ year old mother, special needs little brother and a few others so we were no easy turn.
We were made to feel special and the experience quickly went from 1 to a 10! Kudos to the kitchen and chef at Ember. From the soaps, to the starters to the entrees that we all shared; lunch for a late Sunday was just amazing. Thanks again and we will be back!
Muy mal servicio, llegamos a la hora de la reservación y nos hicieron esperar más de 30 minutos por la mesa, luego la comida se demoró en llegar 45 minutos ...
Pedimos hamburguesas que después de tanto tiempo de espera llegaron crudas y no conforme con eso, la cuenta fue espantosamente alta !!!!

I would still recommend for a variety of restaurants,Alter(fabulous)Kaido(fabulous) Ember(fair) we went on valentines day so you had set menu, I ordered the ribeye steak (expecting Prime) not grassfed (no flavor), I prefer to pay more ! 2nd I asked Marcelo to please take a picture and said he would never happen for our Valentines Day! I am a regular vip dinner and still this night is very busy we did not take from his tip we left the 20% still!
Valentine’s Day Date with my husband, seating outside by the music was nice but rather warm. A fan or two would have been nice. The food was great but the menu was preplanned. Since the menu was preplanned we were both forced to order an entree which we would have rather split due to the size. In addition, we were looking forward to trying other items on the regular menu because we weren’t told prior to arrival or even prior to placing our drink order that it was a preplanned menu.
Smoked fried chicken was excellent

This was our second time there and we won’t be back. Service was slow our food was not good but the worst part the waiter didn’t tell us gratuity was included and we double tipped him. Very disappointing.
The Croketas were amazing , the kale chips are a must they are crispy and different from other places. If you like burgers don’t miss out they make it with pork belly and it was delicious.
Steaks were too fatty. They were cooked at the correct temp and were properly seasoned. Too much gristle.
Mashed potatoes were excellent.
Mac and cheese was great.
They comped a dessert that was very good.
Bad food, service with an attitude
Start with 30 minutes wait over our reservation time then 25 mins to the waiter show up. Wine to order 15 minutes more. After 1;30 waiting for what we had ordered they gave us the food delivering in pieces for each person, one of the orders came different that we ordered and they said" we don't have more that soup" the soup that they brought was a dirty water. The chicken that another person ordered was terrible. We ask for the manager he didn't showed up we ad to go to talk to him. A true fiasco

Service was incredible, everyone from the hosts and servers to the water assistant was nice and attentive.
Food was really good, however my expectations were too high for the lasagna. I know its more of a personal preference thing as other in the table did like it, but i was not impressed. Nevertheless, the swordfish, fried chicken, yukon mash, and roasted sunchokes were really good! A must try is the roasted sunchokes side, honestly dis not expect this to be soooo good.

Twice I have had a confirmed reservation only to be met at the door by the manager who blamed Open Table for issuing a confirmation when the restaurant was closed for a”personal event”. Once shame on open table twice shame on The Embers. There will not be a third.

Truly dreadful. Went on a Sunday, very few diners. First thing waiter did was to tell us all the things they didn’t have, that were on the menu. Really sad when there is such a limited menu. Ordered salmon. Dry and tasteless. Sunchokes were soggy. Lackluster service. Way to expensive for the quality. Plenty of other better options in the area.
At first they couldn’t find my reservation, the waiter took a great a while to get to my table to get the orders, they had to come back to me 3 times since they didn’t remember what I ordered. Drinks took forever to arrive and the sparking water wasn’t sparkling at all, lasagna was dry and not that good, burger was ok, onion soup was good. Overall very poor service, took toooo long for everything, and on top of that “added 20% tip for my convenience”, I am honestly getting tired of some Miami restaurants adding absurd tip for “my” convenience and offering subpar service.
The food was okay, but my friend was charged $5 for sauce for her steak. I find that to be ridiculous.
New Year’s diner, we could not EAT!!!
Not worth the price, porterhouse ordered medium rare was more medium well and too dry. Much better steakhouses for money. Salmon, mashed potatoes, milk bread was excellent.

A beautiful space in Miami's Design District. The food was great. When we were there it was quiet but I could see it being noisy when full. The prices on steak are not for.the faint of heart and everything has a smokey flavor.
Food was great, service was lack luster for a nice Restaraunt. Waited far too long with empty drinks, etc.
Perfect weeknight dinner
I thought the appetizers were the best thing on the menus. I was expecting a fabulous steak for the $$$$$ and it was tasty but nothing outrageous... to costly for a 1 inch porterhouse.
The desert was good, 2 slices of pie.
Absolutely everything was excellent. From the pre dinner drinks, to the after dinner treats. There were food pairs we didn’t expect and would never have thought would go together but they did and that alone made the meal absolutely delightful!
We were there for Thanksgiving dinner and had the special menu.
Very little food, the cornbread came burned, dark meat for the Turkey, and the food was cold. Very expensive for what they offer, very sad that this happened, especially on a special day.
The waiters were very nice and courteous.
Considering that we dined on Thanksgiving evening, Ember was a very good experience. Issues with seating (outside rather than inside, as requested) and overly-cooked food (quickly and graciously replaced) were addressed without question. Thanksgiving prix fixe dinner was very reasonably priced and beautifully cooked; some of the best turkey I've ever eaten and great apple pie.
Definitely Brad Kilgore quality, if not creativity. Eager to dine at Ember again for a "regular" meal.
Fantastic. Gorgeous inside. Great fun atmosphere and vibe. Excellent service. And again food just a simple A+++++++
