We had a great dinner ...food and service was terrific.
We’ve been going to Breckenridge for the past eight years and always try to carve out one night for Ember - reliably good food and service; never had a bad meal here.
Fantastic dinner, service and ambiance! Ask for Eli, he is a great server!
The food was unique and very good. The service was efficient and friendly
Foodie’s dream...a culinary experience.
Overall good experience. However the food actually came out way too fast, apps and entrees, before we were able to even finish a glass of wine. Apps were fantastic, the entrees (scallops) were just okay.
The food here was fantastic and they even had a separate gluten-free menu for my friend. Service level was great and a perfect apres ski dinner.
I was looking forward to eating here based on the concept - innovative chef, local ingredients prepared in creative ways. The server gave the same spiel that supported what I had read. I would say the food was disappointing, based on the hoopla - in fact, "smoke and mirrors" comes to mind. Examples: the deconstructed lobster rangoon was mostly just pretty on the plate. The wontons were greasy and tough. The Wagyu New York wasn't incredibly tender, as described by the waiter - it was tough, chewy and cooked more than the "medium rare" I ordered and that the waiter said the chef recommended. Need I go on?
This is one of our favorite restaurants in Breck. The food is creative and really well prepared and the service is always great. We like coming here because it’s reliable! Right now they have a Pad Thai Salad with a deep fried curry deviled egg—yum!
Excellent! Creative and thoughtful menu. Beautiful presentation. Great service.
Very impressed with how well the flavors came together!
Food and service was excellent. The atmosphere was very pleasent.
We were very pleasantly surprised by both the creative menu and stellar service. Will definitely return. Homemade ice cream for dessert was the best!
Wonderful food and service
Small menu delivered well
Unique, creative food. Servers were super friendly and helpful. Excellant wine suggestions. It was a pleasure dining at a restaurant where it was obvious how much the staff and chef love what they are doing.
As always, the food here was excellent. His salads are always masterpieces of deliciousness! All the entrees we ordered were great and the drinks as well. We also really enjoy the service here. Can’t wait to go back!
Food was outstanding but they put us in a small room upstairs with a large party of 12 or more. We had to shout to talk with each other. Towards the end of the meal the other table began to get fairly crude so we got up and left and went to the bar area.
We should have asked to be moved early on but did not do so. Ember should not try to seat another table in that same room with a large group. It made for a very disappointing meal.
We felt that each of the dishes was too ambitious and had too many flavors which did not seem to compliment each other. The lobster Rangoon had a small amount of lobster pieces with some mini spring rolls with a nice crème filling and pickled oyster mushrooms. The monkfish appetizer had some type of empanadas, etc.
Fabulous combination of tastes and textures. Really enjoyed our experience there. Our server was a true professional
Always dine at Ember when in Breck. We make our reservation weeks in advance to assure a table. Perfect table by fireplace in the warm and inviting room. We started with the soup and kale salad. Right amount of spices for a delicious beginning. Cocktails were innovative and a good wine selection. We had quail, striped bass, scallops and steak. All entrees were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Server was knowledgable and not intrusive. A delightful, relaxing dinner.
Exceptional venue, esquisite menu with outstanding tastes. Highly recommended for drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Prices are very appropriate high quality, amazing dishes. A must for any visit to Breck. Wow!
Enjoyed dinner very much
Beautiful, chef owned restaurant off Main St. Eclectic menu with complex, complimentary flavors. I had the hoisin broth duck and mushroom soup. It was well balanced and delicious. My entree was quail over Fois Gras stuffing, Brussels, and pear salad. Incredible. My server was highly knowledgeable and was great to interact with. I'll return.
Kevin in the bar was especially great!
Good food. Eclectic, so neat and potatoes searchers look elsewhere...
Very eclectic menu, all dishes had multi-layers of complexity. We tried the Elk, Scallops and Pork Chop as well as the Appetizers of Lobster Rangoon and Waygu Beef. The Elk was a little tough to cut and eat but the flavor was outstanding. Everything was very delicious and lots of flavor profiles.
Nice place for foodie adults, however wasn’t a hit with our 8 yr old.
The place itself is cute with the burning torches outside. The food was not great. I ordered the pork loin and it was served with some kind of sauce on the side. The pork tasted bland and the sauce tasted like nothing I would pair pork with. My hubs had the same issue with his scallops.
The dinner was fantastic. We tried a little of everything. The elk, qual, pork loin, wagyu beef from start to finish dinner was superb! Don’t let the exotic distribution scare you away.
I have been to Ember many times and have always enjoyed it. This recent visit did not diSappoint. Our service was exceptional, the food creative and consistently good! I will keep coming back!
All was great !!!
Beautiful venue. The chef makes up his own food pairings. Very unusual but good. We had prime rib. It had a great flavor but was hard to cut. Not a good piece of meat for sure. I would recommend just for atmosphere and unusual dishes.
My husband & I enjoyed an early Valentines Day dinner at Ember. The food was delicious and the dining area quite a romantic setting. We enjoyed the entire experience and would definitely visit again when in the area. The absolute highlight of our meal was the homemade carrot cake ice cream for desert.
Amazing and original flavors. The chef obviously takes a lot of pride in his work and seeks out new ideas to share .
Great restaurant. Building is beautifully decorated in a way that enhances the food experience. Staff are great at letting you relax and taking care of everything for you. Food was excellent with good portion sizes. Chef is very creative. We wanted to share our comments with him and he was super engaging. All in all, a complete package. We were euphoric at the experience.
The most creative chef ever! Always unusual and fabulously delicious combinations of taste and texture --wonderful happy hour with bar food and the best cocktail--Sexy Woman--don't miss it.
We go to Ember every time we are in Breckenridge. Fabulous restaurant. Amazing food.
