The cocktail menu is good and interesting food choices. The ambience is also good. However we were shown to the worst table being in the thoroughfare from the bar. The restaurant was nearly empty so I politely asked to be moved to a better table. I was told no. I asked if people can book specific tables, again told no. And still the person refused to move us saying they were fully booked. As you can’t reserve specific tables it made no sense to not move us. As they hold your credit card details and charge $50 per person for cancellation we couldn’t leave. Definitely not going back which is a shame.

Great location and views. The restauarnt/bar provides a pleasant atmosphere to dine in. The food is above average. The staff are polite and accommodating.

Absolutely loved our special girls catch up lunch at the new venue for the Elysian. Beautiful flavorsome foods, perfect service , friendly staff and fantastic venue. I can’t wait to come back during the warmer weather and sit outside for sunset drinks!

The cocktails were amazing! Such a lovely place - it was cosy and warm and inviting. Went with two friends as part of a girls weekend away, and we shared some delicious plates of food and tried a few of the cocktails - the peach one was our winner! Definitely recommend :)

The food was INCREDIBLE. It was an amazing experience and the menu was unique and just delicious. Will absolutely be coming up again.

First time there, was for a 630pm dinner sitting Sat night early July. Venue and location are great, it feels a little disjointed in a away overall. Drinks were ordered but the bar had a backlog so they came just after the 1st set of small plates we ordered. The food did come out a little too quickly so the overall Dinner felt rushed which it may have been so they can turn the table over quickly. Service and staff were great so no fault to them but it's almost as if it's not sure if it wants to be just a cocktail/wine bar with nibbles or a place you go for more a more substantial meal etc. I would return but as more a pre-dinner drink type place or go there just with cocktails and wine in mind and get dinner somewhere else. I think if they slowed down the food service and allowed people to have a more slower paced experience there they would be able to order more drinks, enjoy a bottle of wine without feeling the sense of urgency that the timings of the service made us feel.

Wonderful food. So great to find different food (instead of the ubiquitous burgers & chips) in a lovely atmosphere. however, the lack of desserts (only 2 on the menu, though an improvement from 1 the previous week!) & no tea or coffee on offer, lets the whole experience down a little. Also, the week before we were seated at a "bar table with bar stools"& were told that it was considered as part of the restaurant, where we specified to be seated. It looked a lot like an extension of the bar area to our party & the table wasn't even big enough to hold the number of share plates that we ordered! In fact, it wouldn't fit more than 5 plates & as this is a "share plate restaurant, it seems a bit illogical....& ....it seemed like a bar table! We were advised by the owner(?) that we had to specify exactly where we wanted to be seated- we actually DID- the restaurant & he seemed a little dismissive of our complaint. Anyway, we decided to give it another go & were VERY specific with our requested seating location. Also very impressed with the food.

Dining at Elysian was a delight . Attentive and super friendly staff who helped with our dish choices . Everything was perfect . Generous servings , delicious food and expansive drink options . Highly recommend to choose Elysian as your next dining experience. You won't be disappointed.

Food was amazing. It would be helpful to put a contact number in the booking. The number provided in Open table does not exist. It was tricky to make alterations to the booking and it revert you to call the restaurant direct. The food was very delish and staff were great.
