The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was perfect !! Special Thanks to Andrew our server
The food is amazing, well put together for display and even better for flavours.
I called ahead to inquire about vegan options and was ensured there would be a special vegan menu on arrival. But there was no vegan menu. My fiance ordered the barley risotto which is usually vegetarian and was made vegan for him. It tasted terrible. My chicken however was quite good. The appetizers we ordered (tomato soup and scallops) were very overpriced for what they were.
We went there for dinner to celebrate our engagement and requested a table with a view during our reservation since it was a special occasion. However I couldn't even see the window from the table. Even though tables with a view were free, they refused to give us one.
The meal might have been worth it if we had a view but considering half the restaurant can't see the falls, Elora Mills Restaurant is really not worth it. I would rather go to Langdon Hall
Solarium resturant has an amazing view & it was the fact that we requested that seating was the reason we are there. I specifically reserved seating in the solarium but upon arrival was told that the solarium searing was not available. But after done discussion we managed to get seated in the solarium.
Food presentation was great, server was great, view amazing, but meals I found a little overpriced, but that could be due to the ambience view of the gorge.
Would like to thank Micheal, manager on duty that day for taking the time to accommodate our request.
Went for breakfast with a my husband food tasted amazing but portions were small. I was ok as I don’t eat a lot for breakfast but my husband loves his breakfast and was not impressed that t here was only one slice of toast with the millers breakfast. Overall it was a lovely breakfast and ambience and service is amazing just improve portions and it would be 5 star ⭐️
The Elora Mill Restaurant served the smallest plate of food I have ever eaten in a restaurant. The piece of chicken was very very small. Some greens and some sauce were all on the plate with the baby chicken and thats all and I think the price was about $35 bucks. The view was the only good part and the waitress seldom came back to our table and never asked if things were allright. We spent far tooooo much money for such a small, small bit of eating. Will not ever be going back at the price I paid for so little, food.
And I will not reccomend even my worst enemy to eat there.
Tasty food, beautiful view, great service. We will go again.
Beautiful views great service the food was very underwhelming for the price , small portions and way over priced a little disappointing. It seems like the focus was for the food to be visually pleasing but the flavour vs price does not match unfortunately.
Limited menu. Poor selection of appetizers entrees and dessert. I would not order the scallops appetizer again. Enter was beef tenderloin which was good. My wife had Arctic Char which was very good. Dessert were only mediocre.
The view of the falls from our table was spectacular and our waiter, Kevin, was attentive, knowledgeable and had a fabulous sense of humour. Our meals were delicious.
Too expensive for portion sizes, though the oysters were amazing!
Our view was spectacular having a seat overlooking the waterfalls. The customer service was above and beyond. Having noted in our reservation it was our Anniversary, it was acknowledged by more than one of the staff. Our waiter, Kevin, was exceptional. He was the first to acknowledge our anniversary, delivering us a complimentary celebratory drink. Declining dessert, he again surprised us with a mini dessert to share in celebration.
Thank you for making our 1st Anniversary celebration one to remember.
For a fine dining experience the menu was very limited. Service was average. I expected more from the description.
Our 1st visit was spectacular!! The food, the view, the service - everything was perfect!
This makes for a great stay-cation day trip.
Outstanding restaurant. would highly suggest that place if you are in the area.
View is amazing and the space is lovely for a special meal out. They are taking COVID seriously and we felt safe sitting inside for our meal. Food and drinks were great.
First time eating inside in COVID times. Instructions were clear, spacing was great. A very enjoyable experience. Thank you!
Food was absolutely outstanding. The bay scallop appetizer was one of the best things I have ever eaten.
Excellent food and presentation. Not big portions but just enough.
Great choice for a Super Luncheon. Will be returning more often. I also Posted on Instagram such a better choice than Staycations during this Evil Covid times.
The view is absolutely beautiful!!! Our food was excellent and our server was lovely! Would highly recommend for a special evening out.
Liked the whole outdoor vibe and service was excellent. The food had great taste and flavor however the portions were extremely small. Coming from the East Coast Cape Breton I was excited to try some real sea scallops although they were delicious I was disappointed we only got 6 scallops in the dish that's 21 dollars. The Average serving of scallops should be 8 -9 and a few extra for an anniversary would be a bonus. I did tell the server it was our anniversary and our first time dinning at the Elora Mill.
I also ordered another sea dish the baked Cod. Again another flavorful dish but wished I had a larger piece of fish to eat and enjoy.
My husband ordered the roast beef (not sure of the name) He enjoyed the small piece of beef but it's a good thing he and I filled up on bread because there were only 3 small sides of spinach ravioli to go with it.
I had to ask the server for bread 3 times because we were still hungry.(and I felt awkward to ask)
we really enjoyed the town and it's charm and we even saw a beautiful crane by the water fall. I would consider trying it again but I would order something different.
Reservations were easy to make online. They were followed up with a confirmation email and a reminder call.
Tables are outside, well spaced. Menu's are on paper. Amanda and Taylor were delightful servers. Rain came and managers brought umbrellas for everyone. Moved standing ones too. Sun came out and we had great food. Loved the haddock. The portions are delicate not massive. Got a special reason to celebrate, do it here.
Amazing. Staff and food great! Given the global pandemic they really went out of the way to make the dining experience as “normal” as possible.
The nice location will help ease the pain with the very limited Menu, drinks are highly over priced, staff not concerned with any type of interaction, they are there to do their job.
Not sure we would return
Great spot for date night or a special occasion of any kind!
Elora Mill is our gem on the Grand and we local folks are SO lucky to have a nice place to visit for a special meal.
Beautiful setting for a delicious meal. We enjoyed everything about the Elora Mill, and the surrounding town and nature trails.
My wife and I went to the Elora Mill for our anniversary dinner, and had an exceptional time. The food was excellent, the service was very good, and the ambiance was lovely. We will be back for sure!
The location is beautiful. Food and service needs some work. C’mon Pearle Hospitality you have done this before so no excuses about ironing out the kinks. A chai spiced squash soup tasted like water. No exaggeration it had no taste. It was an 18 dollar bowl of water. Beef bourginon contained a lot of gravy, very little meat and none of the promised root vegetables. When mentioned to the waitress, she said “ya i noticed that as well”. End of conversation. Customer service 101 fail. If you want my repeat business and probably everyone else’s, then you are going to have to do better.
This was our third time dining at the Elora Mill. From start to finish the experience was wonderful! The setting is breathtaking, the facilities are beautifully designed with high quality craftsmanship evident throughout the entire property. The food! What a treat! Inspired by locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, the menu offers something for everyone! We will most definitely return to this fine establishment!
Went for a Eloralicious and was not disappointed. Have a gorgeous view of the gorge. Wait staff was excellent. Enjoyed ourselves very much.
Vegetarian Eloralicious menu items were flavourful and creative. I was skeptical of raddichio as a main, but the dish was fantastic and filling. Service was quick. Only complaint was the corner table has very little lighting. Was rather dark, but beautiful view of the Gorge.
Great meal and fine service for a special event. Found the dinning area loud and not as romantic as expected. I did notice the lounge area was quiet.
I usually love this restaurant but I ordered the burger last time and was very disappointed. It was very blend basically meat, bread and mayo. I’ve been there for brunch and it is usually awesome.
Andrew was outstanding as a waiter- professional.
Ambience and view- excellent!
Decor of the Old Mill- excellent!`
Can't wait to come back!
The food was amazing and the view was spectacular. The service was quick and very knowledgeable.
The food was very good. We were seated at a table with a great view. The server (Carolyn) and the hostess went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.
The view and the ambience was wonderful. The soup I had was highly salty. The pasta dish was okay. The schnitzel was a bit too crispy and burnt. The fish was delicious and the vegetarian burger are good choices as well as the pear salad. Cocktails were delicious and presented well.
We the wild boar, tortelloni and a steak with a recommended Californian wine “Justin”. All very good. We would normally play a game of who won the table but all dishes were done to perfection.
