The view from our table was lovely. Service was great as was the food. Excellent vegetarian options. The wine was delicious too - Rose (La Belle Montagne) and Chardonnay (Tawse)

We went for Fathers Day. My husband ordered two glasses of white wine and one was 5oz and another 8oz, they both came out looking the same amount. We asked and were told no its 8oz, they charged $28 for that glass. Food was alright and certainly not worth the hype. Pasta was very dry and taste needs to be improved. We had the mushroom pasta l, cod fritters, two iron steaks and a kids meal sliders. I ordered the steak with the cucumber marinated salad. It tasted like pickled cucumber and the Taziki that was supposed to be there was just yogurt, some dill on top and a wedge of lemon. So disappointed we spent $240 plus a $20 tip. Not going again.

The Mill never disappoints. I've been many times, but I took my parents for their first visit for Father's Day lunch, and they loved it! The property, the view, the food, and especially the service team are nothing short of fantastic!

We've eaten here a number of times, this was the first time sitting in the outdoor seating area. We went for the Father's day which is listed as a special even on their website. It advertises a 'thoughtfully prepared feature menu, available for both lunch and dinner.' We were expecting some sort of special brunch menu, but there were no brunch items. It was pretty much the regular menu with one special dessert. Being vegetarians, we ordered our usual pea hummus and pasta dish. All the main dishes are meat based. So we did a small order of the 3 available pastas, to share. We'd had the mushroom bolognese before, but not the other 2 pastas. Unfortunately two were extremely oily, and the third one, a vegetable dish was heavy in butter. So we took our time eating, and unfortunately they came several times to take our plates away (almost empty plate in hand, while asking are you finished with that?) while we were still eating. I'm not sure why, because there were not a lot of people there. The wine that was meant to be paired with the meal, came at the beginning (very pricey for 5 oz) and my glass of wine sat in the sun until the pasta dish came out. For dessert we were offered the ones on the main menu, and not the one on the father's day menu. All in all it was kind of a rushed expensive lunch. Not a Father's day 'feature menu' but rather their regular menu. I guess if we'd gone there expecting that, and not rushed to leave, I would of given them 4 stars. Because the wait staff were extremely friendly and helpful. (Other than watching until the second we put our forks down and starting to clear plates while we were still chewing our food)
