Elora Brewing Company Ratings and Reviews
The restaurant was very good as usual but Open Table sucks !!!
They confirmed my reservation the day before then on the day of I received an email cancelling the reservation & blaming it on the restaurant . After contacting the rest of the group I contacted the restaurant directly and they had NOT issued a cancellation. An attempt to contact Open Tables met with a Stone Wall.
If you use Open Tables ALWAYS double check your reservations.
The first time I ate here it was great. Sunday afternoon, but this time it was not very good. Very cold because of the fan above us and the service was extremely slow. The fries my husband ordered were cold and the fried chicken had more batter than chicken.
We are true fans of this establishment and have been since the day it opened. The service is fantastic and we can’t say enough about the staff (past, present and seasonal) and management who always go above and beyond our expectations. Thank you for being our favourite place to spend some of our free time! Cheers!! 🍺
The atmosphere and craft bear is superb. The service very good. The food we did not really enjoy. Very limited choices especially for non meat eaters. Poutine has a Jus and makes for soupy fries. Id rather traditional Tatziki, as the Dill sourcream I found to be bland on the Falafel Slider. Veggy fries are amazing.
This is a great place. Very nice appearance from the exterior. A cool interior vibe too. Great bar and the food is good. We are from Niagara where we have some great micro breweries so we were disappointed that they wouldn't do growler fills but overall a really nice experience.
It was nice. The serving staff were very nice. The place was nice and clean. The beer variety was nice. It was very nice how nice it was but I've never been to Nice, which I hear is nice. I had the special which was nicely done. The pickled dice vegetables were also nice. It was nice to have them as an appetizer which is a nice way to start a meal. We were nice and full and didn't have dessert, but I hear is nice.
We both really liked the relaxed feel of this place – very open and simple. Would definitely would return to try more dishes. The frites and 3 grain warm salad were amazing and both the fried chicken and mac n cheese did not disappoint!
Service was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and the beers were fantastic. Will definitely be returning!
This was my third visit to the Elora Brewing Company and although the beer is good, the selection is really limited (really just the beers that they brew) and they were out of the beer that I wanted to try, which was the only dark beer that they had to offer. The food is decent but the service was terrible. We were there at 9 on a Friday night for dinner and the server only checked on us once after we got the food and she had already turned her back from the table before we could ask for another round of drinks. There was also someone else who brought our food out and they tried to take away our appetizer which was only half finished. I don't know if it's just a small town thing where they know that people will be back because of the limited dining options but I really feel like they need to step up their game in the service department. There are other restaurants in the area and I would recommend checking those out before going here.
Really REALLY poor service from our server. Thank goodness for the servers at neighbouring tables for assisting. On 3 occasions I had to go looking for someone (more beer, condiments, wrong order). It's a bummer as it could be an awesome place to hang regularly.
Beautiful location and very friendly staff. Brew is good. Some of the tables have large divets in them to look aged but they also mean your beer well tip over if you put it down on the hole. Food just didn't quite meet the mark, trying too hard to be gourmet. Large group and we all weren't overly impressed with the food. But good for the brew the location the staff.
Our first time there & we live in the area! Loved having the beer sampling & though the menu is limited the food & price were excellent. The day/evening specials an awesome deal, especially for two. Staff were very friendly & helpful as well. Elora's Gem & a must try at least once. We will be back.
