   We booked for a Sunday and received a confirmation message as well but Elma wasn’t even open! Pls change your trading hours so this doesn’t happen again, thanks

   Booked for 6 people at 5:45pm so we could dine before an event in the local area only to arrive and find out the restaurant was closed. Contacted the restaurant by phone and was advised that they could get a chef for the night. Whilst this is unfortunate and would have been understandable circumstances for being unable to open for the night the fact that no attempt was made to contact us to advise our booking wouldn't be able to be honoured was unacceptable. We had driven from Geelong and had to find alternate dining at very short notice before our event. Luckily The Clare Castle were close by and their food and service were outstanding.

   Overall a fair dining experience. All items on the menu where not available so we were limited to what we could order. The food we ordered was delicious, fair service, good timing and priced fairly. Just lacked ambience as it is located in a quiet part of South Melbourne, in a serviced apartment block which services the patrons.

   We booked online for a party of 6 for lunch & our booking was accepted & confirmed. We arrived & the restaurant was closed. The website still said they were open. I called & left a voice message & sent an email but still no response 2 days later. Elma have burnt us off completely & we won’t be going back. Very poor management.

   there is no restaurant, we got there and walked around for a minute inside the building but there was no one behind the counter or elsewhere to find

   This would have to be the worst dinning experience I have encountered for quite some time. Table service was so bad that I had to venture to bar, get my own tables drinks and then serve them myself! In regards to to food, very average, pizza was burnt and only received 3/4 of our initial order. Tip - do not dine here!

    This is a fantastic venue. The food is amazingly delicious and the service is second to none. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended. The chef prepared a special menu that would suit our group of 15 for a birthday celebration. Thanks again. Angelina
